Abstract

Development of road infrastructure in Kupang city today has been a concern and the priority of the government in order to support the acceleration of the economy in the Kupang city.However, the problems that occurred in the project implementation is incomplete highway projects in a timely, cost and quality that has been set.The purpose of this study was to determine the weighting of the factors that cause delays in the completion of a highway project according to perception of stakeholder and a model of the delay in the completion of a highway project in Kupang city.Data analysis technique using Microsoft Excelto obtain a weighting of the delay factors of each respondents, andusing Factor Analysis method to obtain the model of delay factors. From the results of analysis show that the main factor causing the delay of highway project in Kupang city according to respondents of contractor is a delay provision of heavy equipment factor with a percentage of 4.64%, then according to respondents of consultant is design error factor with a percentage of 4.81%, and then according to respondents of Dinas PU is scarcity of material required with a percentage of 4.53%. The result gained models of delays interpreted that project management factors ( F1) provide the most impact on delay in the completion of a highway project in Kupang city that is equal to 13.187%.

Abstract

Review performance needs to be done because during the last several years, the terminal is not work well,so that people have difficulty to get any transportation for their activities. This research was conducted to find out the feasibility of terminal according the terminal clasification that is Type C,physical performance based on the traffic condition in terminal bayangan, the satisfaction of the customer and the strategy to be implementedto make the terminal work properly.From the result of the feasibility analysis can be concluded that Terminal Bello is quite feasibility to be classified as type C terminal with score equal to 58,93%.The result of physicalperformance analyzes was unsatiesfied yet since from the whole aspect only the location and waiting time that meet the criteria, whereasthe performance considered unsatisfactory which has been evaluated from the road user perception werethe public transportation service and sanitation, from the driver perception were road condition, passengers, information system, parking area, garrage and the regulation of passengers allocation by route. The interview’s result by SWOT quadrant matrix show that Terminal Bello belongs to IV quadrant which means that the terminal is poor to face any big challenge ahead so that the proper strategy needed isminimize weaknesses to avoid threats better

Abstract

Persimpangan di depan gerbang masuk Kampus Universitas Nusa Cendana (UNDANA) merupakan simpang tak-bersinyal dengan arus cukup tinggi yang dapat menyebabkan banyak permasalahan pada area ini. Dari permasalahan yang ada akan dibuatkan suatu penelitian penanganan simpang menggunakan bundaran, karena memberikan beberapa manfaat yang dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan desain geometri bundaran menggunakan Pedoman Teknis No.20 Tahun 2004-B.  Untuk proses evaluasi kinerja bundaran hasil desain, metode yang digunakan adalah Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997 (MKJI 1997) yang merupakan metode dari Indonesia danSIDRA INTERSECTION v5.1 yang merupakan metode komputasi yang dibuat oleh Australia. Kedua metode ini  kemudian dibandingkan hasil analisisnya untuk parameter tundaan rata-rata, derajat kejenuhan, dan peluang antrian. Hasil evaluasi pada tahun 2017 menggunakan MKJI 1997 didapat derajat kejenuhan pada bundaran yaitu 0,62, sementara untuk SIDRA INTERSECTION didapat 0,68. Derajat kejenuhan kedua metode ini masih dalam persyaratan derajat kejenuhan dibawah 0,85 sehingga kondisi arus lalu-lintas dalam bundaran stabil dan dapat dijadikan rekomendasi penanganan simpang. Hasil evaluasi pada akhir umur rencana di tahun 2027 menggunakan MKJI 1997 didapat nilai derajat kejenuhan pada bundaran yaitu 1,00, sementara untuk SIDRA INTERSECTION didapat 1,22. Evaluasi bundaran menggunakan MKJI 1997 terlihat memiliki derajat kejenuhan yang lebih kecil dari SIDRA INTERSECTION.The intersection in front of UNDANA is un-signalized intersection with large of Traffic flow. This situation can cause troubles like amount of conflict arise etc. Based on the existing situation, a research to overcoming problem will be made using Traffic Roundabout. At this point, Roundabout can reduce the traffict conflict at an intersection besides with other benefits it can caused. For evaluating the performance of roundabout design, the methods used is Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997 (MKJI 1997) and SIDRA INTERSECTION (Australian Product). Then, these two methods will be compared the results such as average delay, degree of saturation, and queue probability. Performance evaluation in 2017 using MKJI 1997 obtained the degree of saturation at the roundabout is 0.62, while for SIDRA INTERSECTION is 0.68. Degree of saturation of both methods is still in the requirement of degree of saturation below 0.85 so that the condition of traffic flow in the roundabout is stable and this design can be a recommendation for solving this intersection’s problem. Then, in 2027 using MKJI 1997 obtained degree of saturation at the roundabout is 1.00, while for SIDRA INTERSECTION obtained 1.22. Degree of saturation from the roundabout evaluation using MKJI 1997 is below the degree of saturation given by SIDRA INTERSECTION.

Abstract

Concrete is mostly used in the world of construction due to cheap price and easy implementation. However extensive knowledge is required about the quality of basic materials, ways of making, curingto increase concrete function to be more leverage.The purpose of this study is to know about the effect of curing temperature to concrete compressive strengthand which one of curing temperature that produce the optimal compressive strength, compressive strength by elevated temperature curing time 28 days that projected by long cycle steam curing method and maturity method, also the compressive strength rate ratio by normal curing temperature, low and elevated curing temperature.Based on the calculation of the results obtainedthe effect of curing temperature to average concrete compressive strength by normal curing temperature 29 °C is 23,85 MPa, low curing temperature -10 °C is 26,29 MPa, and elevated curing temperature in the oven 87,5 °C is 31,80 MPa so that the most optimal concrete compressive strength is by elevated curing temperature. The concrete compressive strength that projected by long cycle steam curing method and maturity method is 27,06 MPa. The compressive strength rate ratio by normal, low and elevated curing temperature is 0,85 : 0,94 : 1,14

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah untuk mendapatkan model bangkitan dan pola bangkitan perjalanan penduduk di Kecamatan Alak. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode kuisioner dan wawancara langsung sebagai alat ukur dengan satuan rumah tangga sebagai sampel yang dilakukan secara acak dengan metode acak sederhana (simple random sampling). Untuk mendapatkan model bangkitan dan pola bangkitan perjalanan penduduk maka perlu dilakukan beberapa analisis. Analisis yang pertama dilakukan adalah uji validitas dan linearitas data lalu dilakukan uji antar variabel dengan menggunakan matriks korelasi, dari hasil matriks korelasi ternyata hanya 3 (tiga) variabel bebas saja yang berpengaruh terhadap bangkitan perjalanan yang terjadi yaitu jumlah anggota keluarga yang sekolah (X3), jumlah anggota keluarga yang bekerja (X2), dan jumlah anggota keluarga (X1), dengan Y =  1,146 X3 + 0,918 X2 + 0,372 X1 – 0,923. Untuk pola distribusi perjalanan yang dihasilkan terbagi atas 2 yaitu perjalanan dalam Kecamatan Alak sebesar 249 perjalanan dengan perjalanan paling banyak menuju Kelurahan Alak sebesar 48 perjalanan dan perjalanan keluar Kecamatan Alak sebesar 1353 perjalanan dengan perjalanan paling banyak menuju Kecamatan Oebobo sebesar 412 perjalanan.The purpose of this final assignment is to obtain a generation model and pattern of residents trip in Alak District. The method of data collection is done by questionnaire method and direct interview as a measuring instrument with household units as samples that are done randomly by simple random sampling. To get a generation model and population trip generation pattern, it is necessary to do some analysis. The first analysis carried out was the validity and linearity test of the data and then tested between variables using a correlation matrix, from the correlation matrix results only 3 (three) independent variables that influence trip generation that occur, namely the number of family members in school (X3), the number of family members working (X2), and the number of family members (X1), with Y = 1,146 X3 + 0,918 X2 + 0,372 X1 - 0,923. The trip distribution pattern produced is divided into 2, namely trips in Alak Subdistrict equal to 249 trips with the most trips to Alak Sub-District for 48 trips and outbound trips Alak District for 1353 trips with the most trips to Oebobo Subdistrict for 412 trips.

Abstract

Manajemen pemeliharaan perkerasan jalan merupakan faktor utama yang berpengaruh terhadap kondisi perkerasan. Sehingga dengan adanya pemeliharaan perkerasan jalan dapat mempertahankan kondisi perkerasan jalan sesuai dengan tingkat pelayanan. Kerusakan pada perkerasan jalan di kampus Undanamerupakan permasalahan yang kompleks terutama bagi pengguna jalan. Untuk mengetahui penyebab utama adanya kerusakan pada perkerasan jalan, diperlukan manajemen pemeliharaan jalan yang tepat, sehingga pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan studi evaluasi perkerasan pada segmen – segmen jalan dalam kampus Undana dengan menggunakan metode PCI (Pavement Condition Index) dan RCI (Road Condition Index). Dari hasil evaluasi kondisi segmen jalan pada kampus Undana menggunakan metode PCI dan RCI segmen 83 pada ruas 17 merupakan segmen yang mempunyai kerusakan terberat dengan nilai PCI 2, sedangkan untuk nilai RCI adalah 2,00.The management of pavemnet maintenance is a major factor affecting the condition of pavement. So that with the maintenance of road pavement can maitain pavement condition in accordance with the level of service.Damage to pavement on Undana campus is a complex problem especially for road users. To determine the main cause of damage to pavement, proper road maintenance management is required, so that this study will conduct a pavement evaluation study on road segments within the Undana campus using PCI (Pavement Condition Index) method, RCI (Road Condition Index) ,and IRI (International Roughness Index). From the evaluation of road segment condition on campus Undana using PCI, RCI and IRI method then segment 83 is the segment that has the heaviest damage with PCI 2 value, while for RCI value is 2.00 based on IRI value is 17,12.

Abstract

Kota Soe biasa dijadikan tempat tujuan bagi wisatawan yang ingin menikmati keindahan alam dan dijadikan tempat peristirahatan bagi wisatawan yang melewati kota ini. Ada 4 moda transportasi yang biasa digunakan untuk perjalanan Kupang-Soe yaitu bus, mobil travel, sepeda motor, dan mobil pribadi, dimana dalam pemilihan moda transportasi ini didasarkan pada anggapan bahwa proporsi permintaan perjalanan tergantung pada persaingan antar moda. Adanya perbedaan karakteristik antara keempat moda transportasi tersebut dengan rute Kupang-Soe mendasari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor apa yang mempengaruhi seseorang dalam memilih moda untuk melakukan perjalanannya. Survey berupa kuisioner dimulai dengan menetapkan jumlah sampel yang dibutuhkan. Kemudian disebar di terminal bayangan, dan masyarakat kota Kupang yang sering melakukan perjalanan ke Soe dengan menggunakan bus, sepeda motor, dan mobil pribadi. Hasil survey dikumpulkan kemudian dilakukan analisis regresi logistik multinomial untuk mendapatkan model probabilitas dari masing-masing transportasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis deskriptif diketahui bawah karakteristik pengguna moda transportasi pada umumnya sama. Yang membedakan adalah beberapa faktor pemilihan untuk menggunakan moda transportasi yang diinginkan seperti alasan memilih kendaraan, tujuan/ maksud perjalanan, dan waktu tunggu sebelum berangkat. Dan berdasarkan hasil analisis logistik multinomial, probabilitas pemilihan moda transportasi terbesar adalah sepeda motor sebesar 26,75% dan probabilitas terkecil adalah mobil pribadi sebesar 23,75%.Soe city commonly being a destination for tourist to see beautiful scenery, and being transit site for tourist who pass by this city. There are four transportations commonly used for Kupang-Soe route, namely bus, public car, motorcycle and personal car, where in this transportations selecting, based on an assumption that proportion of traveling demand will depends on competition between transportation. Absence of difference between the four transport characteristic in Kupang-Soe route become this study foundation to give a question what factor affecting someone in selecting transportations to do his travel. A survey of questionnaire begun by setting the number of samples needed. Then deployed in unofficial terminal and citizen of Kupang who traveled in often frequently to Soe with bus, motorcycle, and personal car. The survey results are collected and used Multinomial Logistic Regretion  Analysis to found out model of probability from each transportation. Based on descriptive result, showed the characteristic of moda transportation user are generally typical. The differences are moda transportation selection factors, such destination and delay time. And based on multinomial logistic regretion analysis, highest probability of moda transportation selection are 26,75% for motorcycle and lowest probability of moda transportation selection are 23,75% for personal car.

Abstract

Shopping center as one of land use, have a high enough intensity to attract people. The big attraction depends on many variables that influence it. Therefore this study aims to model the trip attraction and accumulation model vehicles parking on three shopping center in Kupang City are Lippo Plaza, Flobamora Mall and Hypermart Bundaran PU. Modelling done by using multiple linear regression analysis and multinomial logistic regression analysis. The result of the analysis in this study is obtained by modelling Y1 = 715,522 + 5,963 X3 + 0,056 X5, Y2 = 417,134 + 2,350 X3 + 0,020 X6, Y3 = 66,357 + 0,792 X3 + 0,023 X5and Y4 = 28,147 + 0,296 X3 + 0,006 X6, with Y1 is trip attraction two wheeled vehicles, Y2 is trip attraction four wheeled vehicles, Y3 is the accumulation of two wheeler parking, Y4 is the accumulation of four wheeler parking, the X3 is the number of tenants, X5 is a parking area for motorcycles and X6 is a four wheel vehicle parking area.Factors that influence the occurrence of trip attraction is earning the visitors a shopping center and factors elections comparison shopping center is a range of product, product quality, product availability, product pricing and parking facilities located at the shopping center.

Abstract

Terminal bus Oebobo sebagai salah satu prasarana transportasi diharapkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan angkutan umum masyarakat Kota Kupang dan sekitarnya.Namun yang terjadi saat ini, terminal tidak menjalankan perannya dengan baik sehingga perlu dilakukan evaluasi berdasarkan standar dari Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Darat Tahun 1993. Selain itu, mengingat akan dibangunnya terminal bus tipe A di Kota Kupang, maka perlu dilakukan prediksi kebutuhan luas untuk pengembangan terminal.Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengantisipasi peningkatan pertumbuhan kendaraan dan penumpang.Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pada terminal bus Oebobo, diketahui bahwa kondisi eksisting terminal saat ini belum memenuhi standar luasan serta ketersediaan fasilitas yang minim sehingga perlu dilakukan kajian ulang terkait lokasi, luasan serta fasilitas terminal.Berdasarkan hasil prediksi kebutuhan luas untuk pengembangan terminal bus tipe A, total kebutuhan luas untuk seluruh kelompok ruang sebesar 17.663,01 m2, kebutuhan luas standar taman sebesar 5.298,90 m2, serta cadangan pengembangan sebesar 24.038,08 m2. Untuk rekomendasi strategi agar dapat mengoptimalkan terminal bus Oebobo dengan analisis SWOT diperoleh beberapa strategi yaitu dengan meningkatkan fasilitas, memanfaatkan investasi dalam rencana pembuatan terminal, meningkatkan komitmen pelayanan dan penegakan peraturan serta meningkatkan akses menuju terminal. The Oebobo bus terminal has been functioned as one of the public transportation infrastructure for the Area of Kupang City and Surrounding communities. Currently, the terminal does not perform its role well, due to it's current capacity. Based on the standards of the Directorate General of Land and Transportation in 1993, in conjunction with the plan to build the new bus terminal type A in the Area, an evaluation is necessary. This is to predict the needs of the terminal area to anticipate the growth vehicles and passengers. The current evaluation results showed that the condition of the existing terminal has not meet the standard requirement and need further review of the area, location and the availability of the minimal facilities. The current of prediction results of the overall need for bus terminal type A, the total requirement for the whole group of space of 17.663,01 m2, the need of park standard area is 5.298,90 m2, and development reserve equal to 24.038,08 m2. Strategies needed to optimize the Oebobo bus terminal with SWOT analysis, such as by improving facilities, utilizing investment in terminal building plan, increasing service commitment and enforcing regulations and increasing access to terminal.

Abstract

Arus lalu-lintas pada area kampus terus meningkat setiap tahunnya, hal inilah yang menyebabkan terjadinya masalah lalu-lintas khususnya pada daerah simpang, sehingga perlu dilakukan analisi. Analisis dilakukan pada 5 simpang dengan menggunakan aturan dalam Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) 1997. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, volume kendaraan terbesar pada jam puncak pagi hari (simpang I, simpang II dan simpang V) dan pada siang hari (simpang III dan simpang IV). Cara paling cepat untuk mengetahui kinerja dari suatu simpang dapat dilihat nilai derajat kejenuhannya, untuk itu berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari kelima simpang yang dianalisis, simpang yang sudah dalam keadaan jenuh yaitu simpang I dengan nilai derajat kejenuhan sebesar 0,89 dan simpang II dengan nilai derajat kejenuhannya sebesar 1,07, dimana nilainya lebih besar dari 0,75. Rekomendasi peningkatan kinerja pada simpang berupa alternatif perubahan lebar pada pendekat jalan utama dan jalan minor, pengalihan arus lalu-lintas dan larangan parkir pada daerah simpang. Setelah direkomendasikan alternatif tersebut, derajat kejenuhan pada simpang I menjadi 0,62 dan derajat kejenuhan pada simpang II menjadi 0,57 lebih kecil dari 0,75.Traffic flow on campus area continues to increase every year, it causes traffic problems, especially in the intersection, so it needs to be done analysis. The analysis was performed on 5 intersections using the rules in the Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) 1997. Based on the results of the research, the largest volume of vehicles at the peak hour of the morning (intersection I, intersection II and intersection V) and at noon (intersection III and Intersection IV). The fastest way to determine the performance an intersection can be seen the saturation degree value, for that based on the calculation results can be concluded that from the five intersections are analyzed, intersection that already in the saturated state of intersection I with the value of degree of saturation of 0,89 and intersection II with The value of its saturation degree of 1,07, where the value is greater than 0,75. Recommendation of performance improvement at intersection in the form of alternate width change on main road and minor road approach, traffic diversion and parking ban at intersection area. After the recommended alternative, the saturations degree at intersection I becomes 0,62 and the saturations degree at intersection II becomes 0,57 smaller than 0,75.
