Abstract

ABSTRACT This study explains the conflict ethnic Dayak and Madura in Sampit, Central Kalimantan. The problem discussed is how the meeting of economic and political factors caused a conflict and become one movement against Madura. This research was an explanatory research using qualitative methods. This research used collective action theory and the mobilization structure concept. The results of this research indicated the meeting process occurred when the Dayak political elite was not included in the echelons position I, II, and III in the Regional Government East Kotawaringin which will be inaugurated on February 2001. Those who refuse the inauguration, took advantage of anti-Madura sentiments due to economic disparity. The sentiment was used to mobilize the Dayak into one movement directed into riots. In the meeting process of them showed that there was a link between economic factors and political competition in Sampit. Keywords: Economic Interest, Political Interest, Sampit Conflict

Abstract

ABSTRACT Political parties in Klungkung regencyoften takecandidate from the Puri Klungkung from is seen year to year. This study aims toprovide factors causing the interest of political parties to take Puri Klungkung figure as candidate in Klungkung District Election 2013. This research used qualitative methods, data collection done through observation and interviews. The object in this studyare the Golkar Party DPC, the PDI-P DPC, Former Chairman of KPU Klungkung period 2008-2013 and Puri candidatein local election 2013. Based results analysis, political parties tendency taking Puri Klungkung figures ascandidate in Klungkung District Election2013 influenced by several factors i.e.,Puri Klungkung is still active in politics from royal era until now,Puri figurehas charisma of a king,Puri Klungkung plays important roles insocial life people in Klungkung and the transparency ofPuri Klungkung in politics facilitates Puri figure taken as candidates by political parties. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to find out how Arya Wedakarna's populism as DPD RI. This research framed using populism theory by Noam Gigron and Bart Bonikowski . The research uses qualitative descriptive method with primary and secondary data usage, because it describes and illustrates phenomena that exist, both natural and human engineering, which pay more attention to the characteristics, quality, interrelationship between activities in relation to Arya Wedakarna's populism as DPD RI district of Bali. The results of this study are: first, Arya Wedakarna's populism can be seen through his ideology, discursive style, and the political strategy when becoming a member of the DPD. His populist identity appear through right-populism that applied in some of his anti-plural policies and statements, including religious tendencies and etnic issues . Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Political Economy Interaction in the Entertainment Industry, a case study: X SPA in Denpasar City. The research objectives include: (1). know how SPA owners interact with the Denpasar City government, therapists and indigenous peoples and provide an overview of indigenous peoples' assumptions about the SPA industry. The theory used is the State and Legality theory studied by Edwardd Aspinall. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The findings of this study indicate that the prostitution business occurs due to large market competition, so that the owners of the SPA industry change their business into a prostitution business for personal gain, so that many people or big actors who use their power do not comply. with outstanding government regulations. Often the power of actors is misused for personal gain and oppresses the common people or society without power in general. Keywords: Ilegality, SPA, SPA Prostitution.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted in Sarmi Regency with the probem of the head SKPD dualism in 2015/2016.The purpose of this research describe in detail the dualism leadership of the head SKPD Sarmi in 2015/2016. This research used contingency theory and qualitative methods, data collection done through observation and interviews. Based results analysis, find the process of implementing the appointment or dismissal structure in the bureaucracy in Sarmi Regency is unconstutional and indicated political dynasties. The style of leadership in Sarmi is autocratic with the powerful political influence make bureaucracy is directive.The consequence is there is an illegal policy issued of the regeneration with the unilateral SKPD head being stated overlapping the SKPD head resulting from the appointment of the acting regent who is based on the minister of home affairs decree and the result of the appointment of the regenthead based on the strength of his position. Abstract

The study aims to determine the relations between social media to the chances of winning the candidate pairs of governors of DKI Jakarta in the first round election 2017 in North Jakarta Region. As a research frame, author use New Public Sphere theory by Karssen Mossberger. The method in this research is descriptive quantitative. The research instrument is a questionnaire which distributed to 400 respondents with a MoE of 5%. Determination of respondents using Multi-Stage Random Sampling technique. Based on the research, the author founds are: 85% of people in North Jakarta have social media and 335 respondents agree that social media can influence the chances of victory of candidate pair of governor of DKI Jakarta in elections 2017. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that social media can positively influence on the chance of winning the candidate pair of governor of DKI Jakarta in the 2017 election. Abstract

Women struggled so long to be able to have equal rights with men. The process of struggle continues into a movement. The majority of contemporary movements do not have a clear structural basis and not always through group mobilization, one of them through cultural productssuch as literary works by Oka Rusmini that tell about how Balinese women wrestle with the struggle to get equal rights with men in the middle of patriarchal tradition. The purpose of research is to know the resistance movement of patriarchal ideological in Bali in Oka Rusmini’s literary works 2000-2012. This research uses New Social Movement Theory and qualitative method of analysis. The findings of this research that the resistance movement by Oka Rusmini meets the criteria as a new social movement and is an movement that fight for women's issues through non-conventional political channels. This movement, firstly, affirmed by Oka Rusmini that her literature works is a resistance movement, second, according to semiotic analysis by Barthes that Oka Rusmini’s literature works is laden of resistance to patriarchy. Overall, Oka Rusmini’s literature works succeeded in influencing public opinion, making some new thinking, and getting political influence from the government. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research purposed to explains how a country’s institution that independently facing of dynamics challenges corruption eradication, in this case Corruption Eradication Commssion (KPK). This research is using a state auxiliary institution theory by John Ackerman and social movement theory by Charles Tilly. This research is using descriptive qualitative methods. Data analyst techniques that uses in this research is analytical descriptive technique. The result of this research found that KPK in responding the plan of law of 30 year of 2002 revision with three form, those are: first, KPK as a institution officially denies KPK Law’s revision. Second, KPK internally responding the plan of KPK’s Law revision with the elements of supporting institution as translated into the way it works by authority, structure, actor, and networks. Third, KPK externally doing a response by a social movement that translated the element of organizating, the threat/opportunity and strategy of mobilization. Abstract

This study aims to answer a problem formulation the interaction of actors in managing the tourist attraction of Cekingan. First, the interaction between BPOWC and farmers. The second is BPOWC's interaction with restaurant and art shop entrepreneurs in Cekingan Tourism Object. Third, BPOWC with the Ludden House Community. This research uses Marxism Political Economy Theory and collaborative governance theory. The research method is a descriptive qualitative method. The results of this research are First; conflicts regarding compensation distribution and. Second; especially for residents outside Tegallalang Village by collecting payments. Third; the Ludden House Community is chaired by Gede Suanda, namely the removal of the Bali Not For Sale board by the manager and Bendesa Pakraman. The findings indicate that the management of the two classes is divided. The results of the application of collaborative governance have not involved stakeholders from Kedisan Village in management Keywords: Interaction Actor, Management, Cekingan Tourism.
