Abstract

The purpose of this experiment was to study the growth and yield of onion (Allium ascalonicum) on the giving of bokashi kalakai on peat land. This study used Randomized Compete Design (RCD) of single factor that was bokashi kalakai consisting of 6 levels of treatment namely P0 (0 ton ha-1), P1 (3 ton ha-1), P2 (6 ton ha-1), P3 (9 ton ha-1), P4 (12 ton ha-1) and P5 (15 ton ha-1). The results showed that the administration of bokashi kalakia at dose 15 ton ha-1 was the best treatment on all parameter observed including the palant height, the leves number, the leaves area, the number of tillers, the number of bulbs, fresh weight of plants, dry and heavy dry bulbs. However, at a dose treatment of 15 ton ha-1 did not indicate any differences when compared to those at a dose of 12 ton ha-1

Abstract

Indonesia has the largest peat area in the tropical zone, which estimated about 21 million ha, with a percentage of 70% of the peat area in Southeast Asia and 50% of the world's tropical peatlands. This study aims to evaluate the physical properties of soil in each layer of soil and land cover in inland peat swamp forests in LAHG in Central Kalimantan. The research used the profile method (minipit) measuring 120 cm x 120 cm. Each location is given 3 plots on 2 (two) land cover  namely forest and burnt area. The research location is in LAHG. This research was conducted in July-December 2020. Samples were analyzed at the Banjarbaru Research and Development Laboratory. The parameters observed were bulk density, moisture content, fiber content, soil color, infiltration, and hydraulic conductivity. The research data were analyzed statistically by means of regression and correlation analysis. The results showed that the study of the physical properties of inland peat soil in the forest had bulk density ranging from 0.10 to 0.15 g / cm-3, moisture content 541.18-910.00%, fiber content 8-40%, infiltration -0 , 58-29.27 ml / hour, hydraulic conductivity 2.4-66.6 cm / hour with reddish black soil color. Whereas on burnt land, bulk density ranged from 0.10 to 0.15 g / cm-3, moisture content was 500.00-916.67%, fiber content was 12-52%, infiltration was -3.19-60.99 ml. / hr, hydraulic conductivity 2.4-30.6 cm / hr with dark black soil color. The study relationship pattern shows positive and negative.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the effect concentration of citric acid and Na CMC as a preservative appropriate on the quality of chemical and organoleptic characteristic of melon juice. The factorial completely randomized block design with four replications was applied on this research. First factor was concentration of citric acid (0,1; 0,2; dan 0,3 % b.v-1). Second factor is concentration Na CMC (0,25; 0,35; dan 0,45 % b.v-1). The results showed that the interaction betwen citric acid and Na CMC concentration was not significantly effect to total acid, reduction of glucose, ascorbat acid, and the elarity of organoleptic test and taste, while the separate of water percentage significant effect between treatments. The best treatment for producing of melon juice was citric acid and Na CMC with a concentration of 0, 2 % b.v-1 and 0,45 % b.v-1. It is recommended also for further research conducted on the effects of temperature and pH on the stability of Na CMC as a stabilizer of fruit puree or juice drinks melon

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari pengaruh pupuk fosfor dan konsentrasi gandasil B terhadap hasil melon ( Cucumis melo, L) di tanah gambut. Penelitian ini menggunakan percobaan faktorial 3 x 3 faktor yang digunakan dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap. Waktu penelitian dimulai pada bulan Mei hingga September 2012 di jalan Turi, desa Panarung, kota Palangka Raya. Faktor pertama adalah pupuk fosfor dari 100; 200; dan 300 kg ha-1 Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi gandasil B dari 1,5; 3.0; dan 4,5 g l-1 udara, dan direplikasi empat kali.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan interaksi antara pemberian pupuk fosfor dan konsentrasi gandasila B signifikan dan signifikan terhadap total set buah, buah berat, dan diameter buah, namun tidak signifikan untuk tanaman umur mulai mekar, dan waktu panen. Buah dan buah dengan konsentrasi 200 kg ha-1, dan konsentrasi 1. 5 g l-1 udara mampu menghasilkan rata-rata total bunga menjadi buah 6.69 buah, berat buah 1.955,39 g dan diameter buah sepanjang 16,39 cm. Faktor tunggal pupuk fosfor penting untuk tanaman mulai mekar. Faktor konsentrasi tunggal adalah signifikan untuk total set buah dan usia panen. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of long soaking soybeans and rice flour proportion of the N amino levels and organoleptic properties of soybean tempeh. Experimental design used in this research is randomized factorial design with the first factor that is long soaking 4, 8, 12, and 16 hours and the second factor is the proportion of rice flour, 3, 6, and 9 gram/1000 grams of soybean, each treatment is repeated 4 (four) times. The results showed that treatment of long soaking gives significant effect on pH soybean tempeh, moisture content, N-amino, the number of lactic acid bacteria, and organoleptic texture, taste, and smell. While the proportion of rice flour treatment significantly effect the water content tempeh, and their interaction had no significant effect on any parameters tested. The best treatment for the manufacture of soybean tempeh is on a long soaking 8 hours and the proportion of rice flour 6 gram/1000 grams of Soybean materials. Abstract

This research was conducted on farmers' land in Pulau Damar village, Banjang district, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency from February to May 2019. The study was aimed to determine the effect of dolomite lime and M-bio microbes on soybean yield in peat soil. Experiments were arranged based on a factorial randomized block design with three replications. The first factor is dolomite lime which consists of 3 levels, namely was 0, 3, and 6 t ha-1, and the second factor is M-bio microbe fertilizer which consists of 4 levels, namely 0, 2, 4, and 6 ml L 1 water. The results showed that the interaction between dolomite lime and M-bio microbe fertilizer significantly affected the dry weight of 100 soybean seeds but did not significantly affect the number of filled pods per plant, the number of seeds per plant, and the chlorophyll content of soybean leaves. The highest dry weight of 100 grains of 10.08 g plant-1 was obtained by giving 3 t ha-1 dolomite lime and 6 ml L-1 water of M-bio microbe fertilizer.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh suhu pengeringan dan konsentrasi dekstrin terhadap mutu minuman instan terung asam. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Jurusan Budidaya Pertanian, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Palangkaraya Menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial 2 faktor yaitu suhu pengeringan (P) : (50 °C, 55 °C, 60 °C) dan konsentrasi dekstrin (D) :(10 %, 15 %, 20 %,). Parameter yang dianalisa adalah rendemen, kadar air, kadar vitamin C, total padatan terlarut, waktu larut, uji organoleptik hedonic warna, aroma dan rasa. Berdasarkan penelitian diatas, perlakuan terbaik dalam pembuatan minuman instan terung asam ini adalah pengeringan menggunakan suhu 55 °C dengan konsentrasi dekstrin 10 %. Ini disimpulkan berdasarkan nilai vitamin C yang tertinggi dan skor warna yang dihasilkan adalah paling baik.

Abstract

Kegiatan penanganan pasca panen merupakan tahapan yang dilakukan atau disiapkan agar hasil pertanian siap dan aman digunakan oleh konsumen atau sehingga dapat diolah pada tahapan selanjutnya dalam kegiatan industri. Tahapan penanganan pascapanen hasil pertanian meliputi semua kegiatan mulai perlakuan pemanenan sampai pengolahan langsung terhadap komoditas hasil pertanian karena harus langsung ditangani agar dapat meningkatkan mutu hasil pertanian serta memiliki daya simpan dan daya guna lebih tinggi (AAK, 1990). Dalam usaha perbenihan banyak permasalahan teknis dan nonteknis yang dihadapi. Kondisi lingkungan masyarakat dan kebijakan tentang perbenihan yang kurang mendukung merupakan permasalahan non teknis yang dihadapi. Dari sisi teknis umumnya banyak dijumpai pada faktor pemeliharaan, panen, dan pascapanen. Keterbatasan pupuk dan kelebihan dan kekurangan air dalam pemeliharaan tanaman juga merupakan kendala yang sering dihadapi. Pada tahap panen dan pascapanen keterbatasan peralatan panen dan prosesing benih juga merupakan kendala yang sering dihadapi. Dalam penangangan dan pengolahan padi untuk dijadikan benih yang bermutu dan bersertifikat di tempat penangkaran padi masih terdapat limbah berupa jerami yang didapatkan dari proses pemanenan dan pengolahan benih. Limbah jerami padi bahkan menjadi limbah yang tidak terpakai. Pelaksanaan pasca panen di Kecamatan Pandih Batu dalam memproduksi benih pada kelompok Sumber Mulyo I dan masuk dalam kategori Sangat Baik dalam tahapan. Pada kelompok lainnya semua telah melakukan proses panen rata-rata dengan kategori Baik. Persentase pelaksanaan penanganan limbah pada 7 (tujuh) kelompok dengan nilai 50% dengan kategori Cukup pada Kelompok Sumber Mulyo I, Sido Muncul, Sari Tani, Karya Basuki, UPJA Gemari, Suka Maju I dan Karya Mandiri dan 1 (satu) kelompok dengan kategori Kurang pada Kelompok Tani Muda Jaya

Abstract

As an effort to improve the knowledge and skills of rural farmers, service activities have been carried out with the topic "Guidance on the Utilization of Yards for Horticultural Commodities in Goha Village, Batu Mandi District, Balangan Regency". it is difficult to meet the consumption needs of vegetables even though the land in the yard is still wide for direct use, so this sometimes has an unwanted negative impact such as the lack of intake of vitamins and minerals as well as dietary fiber, the lack of benefits of consuming vegetables, is also caused because of the ignorance of the farmers in an effort to utilize their yards by cultivating horticultural crops. This community service activity has been carried out with three methods, namely the lecture, written and demonstration methods.
