Abstract

Terdapat hubungan yang erat antara filsafat ilmu dan penembangan metode ilmiah. Filsafat ilmu tidak terlepas dari aturan keilmuan yang berkaitan dengan metode ilmiah yang digunakan, dan metode ilmiah inilah menjadi kata kunci dalam ilmu. Agar sebuah ilmu pengetahuan memiliki objek dan metode ilmiah haruslah memenuhi beberapa syarat yang yang meliputi dimensi/aspek sebagai berikut, yaitu: (1) Aspek ontologis (2) aspek epistimologis (3) Aspek aksiologis. Pola pikir dalam pendekatan ilmiah terdiri dari Pola pikir induktif dan pola pikir deduktif. Langkah-langkah dalam metode ilmiah di antaranya adalah: Merumuskan masalah, mengadakan studi kepustakaan, merumuskan hipotesis, menguji hipotesis, mengumpulkan data, menganalisis dan menafsirkan data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dalam dunia filsufis tedapat beberapa aliran dan paradigma yang berhubungan dengan penelitian yaitu pandangan positivisme, post positivisme, konstruktivisme dan pragmatisme ke empat pandangan atau aliran ini membawa pengaruh dalam filsafat penelitian, dengan mengarah kepada metode penelitian kualitatif, kuantitatif dan campuran filsafat ilmu memegang peranan penting dalam pengembangan metode ilmiah yang dapat dilihat dari implikasi serta kontribusi dalam pengembangan metode ilmiah yaitu pertama, filsafat ilmu memberikan pedoman bagi seseorang untuk membedakan antara segala persoalan yang ilmiah maupun tidak, sehingga di temukan jalan keluarnya terhada permasalahan tersebut. Kedua, fungsi filsafat ilmu dalam pengembangan metode ilmiah dapat memberikan kajian yang logis dari setiap ilmu yang di tekuni serta dapat memberikan orientasi dan nilai yang jelas bagi setiap disiplin ilmu. Ketiga, melalui filsafat ilmu di dapati petunjuk dengan metode yang reflektif serta penelitian dan penalaran agar seseorang dapat menyeimbangkan antara logika, pengalaman, rasio dan agama dalam mencapai kehidupan yang sejahtera. Keempat, filsafat ilmu memberikan asas terhadap metode keilmuawan, karena metode ilmiah yang di kembangkan harus dapat di pertanggungjawabkan secara logis dan rasional, supaya dapat dipergunakan secara umum.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the role of educational administration systems in enhancing school quality. Employing a qualitative approach, data were gathered through interviews with school administrators, teachers, and educational staff. The analysis revealed that the effective implementation of administrative systems has a positive impact on school performance. This article discusses these findings and provides suggestions for further improvements in educational management at the school level. These findings have significant implications for the development and enhancement of educational quality within the school environment.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the concept of teacher professionalism in the 21st century, especially in the context of English language learning. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological design, with data collection techniques through interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The results show that teacher professionalism covers various aspects, including subject matter mastery and professional attitude. Professional teachers are expected to be able to design and implement effective learning, motivate students, guide and provide counseling, assess students’ learning progress, and manage the classroom well. The research findings show that English teachers in Indonesia need to improve some aspects of their professionalism, such as English teaching skills in the classroom and the development of more innovative materials. Teachers also need further training to improve their ability to teach English in the digital era. Support from the school and collaboration with peers are also very important to improve the quality of English learning in schools. This study concludes that teacher professionalism is an important factor in achieving better education standards. Teachers must continue to learn and develop to improve their competencies and meet the needs of students in the 21st century.

Abstract

English is a native-speaking language hundreds of millions of the world's population consisting of Americans, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and of course·only the British themselves. This fact allows the emergence of several English variants or varieties; Among another emergence of British English and American English. In the world of education, English as a language foreigners in Indonesia, the second variant has not received attention. Most English teaching institutions without be the choice of certain English variants. On Basically, the official provisions regarding this matter are not yet there is. However, there are variants of British English and American English can bring teacher doubts in dealing with abnormalities, vowel, vocabulary, or pronunciation the language. This is one of the considerations for the need to know English variants for prospective teachers and students English teacher, especially when the American influence is growing.
