Abstract

The Baitul Maal PLN Depok Foundation is one of the national amil zakat institutions that currently, in its administrative management of YBM PLN, is still using the manual method, namely by receiving the submission file and determining the time so that it can discuss with the management of YBM PLN then a decision is made from the results of the discussion. This method takes a long time because an amil receiving the application file must wait for free time from the PLN YBM management. In building this system, the stages of data collection were carried out with literature studies and field studies. The system design and development phases used Unified Modeling Language diagramming and Extreme Programming development models. Based on the results of black box testing of application functionality, the percentage of success is 100%. For the UAT test, the results were 100% on the super admin side, 100% on the admin side, 100% on the mail side, and 100% on the employee side. Meanwhile, from the questionnaire given to 10 respondents regarding the feasibility of the application, the results were 75%. The conclusion is that the application to distribute Zakat funds is sufficient to facilitate YBM PLN's decisions on applications received.

Abstract

Students at Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Terpadu Nurul Fikri (STT-NF) encounter challenges in accessing affordable and reliable transportation to and from campus, which complicates their search for convenient and cost-effective transport options. This study aims to develop a mobile application with an intuitive and user-friendly interface to enhance the overall transportation experience for students. Employing the Design Sprint methodology, the research follows a structured process involving understanding, diverging, deciding, prototyping, and validating phases. User requirements were gathered through surveys and interviews, and the prototype was created and tested using Figma. Usability testing utilized the System Usability Scale (SUS). The outcome of this study is RideSolve, a mobile app prototype featuring functionalities such as ride booking, driver selection, and ride history viewing. Usability testing revealed a high SUS score of 82, indicating positive user reception and effective fulfillment of their needs. Ultimately, the RideSolve prototype is anticipated to notably enhance transportation convenience for STT-NF students by offering a dependable and user-friendly solution.

Abstract

This study explores the development of a psychology consultation application built on Flutter, incorporating ChatGPT API integration to address the need for easily accessible mental health services, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. The main issue addressed is the limited access to quick and efficient psychological support. The application provides features such as user registration, psychologist search, appointment scheduling, and an AI chatbot for immediate assistance. The Extreme Programming (XP) method was employed in the application development, utilising Flutter for building the interface and the ChatGPT API for chatbot integration. The development process included system design, implementation, and evaluation. The results indicate that the application is practical in providing easily accessible psychological consultation services. Black Box testing showed a success rate of 90%, while User Acceptance Testing (UAT), with 15 participants, showed a satisfaction rate of 88%. The questionnaire results indicated that all users agreed that the application facilitated access to psychological consultation services, with positive feedback on the ease of use and effectiveness of the features. For future development, the focus should be on enhancing the application's functionality to improve the overall user experience and meet the standards of an effective and efficient application.

Abstract

Gardening is now a popular hobby and healthy lifestyle trend in Indonesia. However, traditional gardening methods often require a lot of time, effort, and large areas of land, thus deterring many people from growing crops. This research aims to design and develop an efficient and easy-to-use automatic watering system for home gardens by utilizing IoT technology. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) to produce and test the effectiveness of the product. The system is built using ESP8266, a DHT11 sensor to measure air temperature and humidity, and a soil moisture sensor to measure soil moisture. The system has two modes of operation: automatic and manual. In manual mode, users can control the pump through the Blynk app. The test results show that the developed Smart Garden system can control and measure soil moisture levels through the Blynk platform with a success rate of 100%. In addition, it is recommended for further research to add a manual system on the device to overcome the problem if the WIFI connection is lost.

Abstract

Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) is an authorized capital market institution. One of its programs is providing a Single Investor Identification (SID) for the diaspora or Indonesian people living abroad; this SID will act as a single investor identity in the Indonesian Capital Market. This study investigates the design of a Web-Based Diaspora Investment Information System using the .NET Framework, with a primary focus on the business process of obtaining a SID for diaspora investors. The system was developed through iterative planning, design, coding, and testing phases using the Agile Extreme Programming software engineering method. This strategy was chosen since it enabled significant stakeholder participation and flexibility in response to changes throughout the development process. The results of the Blackbox Testing test evaluation method on the application's functionality showed that all 85.7% of the application's features worked well, and the results of feedback on the use of the application by users obtained a score of 88.33%; these results indicate that this application can be used and help PT Custodian Sentral Efek Indonesia to record prospective diaspora investors in the Indonesian Capital Market.

Abstract

People with speech and hearing disabilities have difficulties when communicating with non-disabled people because they use sign language which is rarely learned in general. To solve this problem, a deep learning model is needed that can detect sign language hand gestures which can then be made a sign language translator application that can facilitate communication between non-disabled people and people with disabilities. The purpose of this research is to create a deep learning model that is able to detect SIBI alphabet type sign language hand gestures with good accuracy. The CNN algorithm model uses Transfer Learning MobilenetV2 architecture and transfer learning method. The results of this study show that the model evaluation reaches 95.45% and the next model can be applied to the sign translator application, for further development it is expected to use more datasets so that the model gets a lot of variation during the training process.
