Abstract

SARIGastritis atau secara umum dikenal dengan istilah sakit “maag” ialahperadangan pada dinding lambung terutama pada selaput lendir lambung.Penyakitgastritis umumya diatasi dengan penggunaan antasida yang merupakan kombinasiantara Aluminium Hidroksida dan Magnesium Hidroksida.Orally DisintegratingTablet diketahui dapat hancur atau melarut dalam mulut tanpa memerlukanair.Antasida diformulasikan dalam bentuk sediaan Orally Disintegrating Tabletdiharapkan mampu memberikan onset yang cepat dengan penggunaan yang lebihpraktis.Diperlukan eksipien berupa superdisintegrant untuk dapat meningkatkanwaktu hancurnya.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari Starch1500® dan Crospovidone sebagai superdisintegrant serta interaksi keduanya danmenentukan formula optimum pada karakteristik fisik Orally DisintegratingTablet (ODT) Antasida.Optimasi Starch 1500® dan Crospovidone dilakukandengan metode factorial design.Konsentrasi Starch 1500® yang digunakan adalah5% dan 10%, sedangkan Crospovidone 2% dan 5%.Orally Disintegrating Tablet(ODT) Antasida dibuat dengan metode kempa langsung dan formula optimumdiperoleh dari respons daya alir, kandungan lembab, kekerasan, kerapuhan, waktuhancur serta wetting time. Formula optimum yang didapat adalah komposisiStarch 1500® sebesar 6,467% danCrospovidone sebesar 2,000%.

Abstract

Emulsions stabilized by solid particles are called Pickering emulsions, using diclofenac diethylamine for topical use. In this study, screening for the effect of the type of solid particles (bentonite 3%; Avicel RC-591 2.5%; and kaolin 15%) and soybean oil concentration (10%; 20%, and 30%) using the Taguchi orthogonal array method, with independent variables (type of solid particles and concentration of soybean oil, dependent variables (viscosity, pH, %EE, creaming index, globule size, and % cumulative penetration). The Pickering emulsion with Avicel RC-591 for solid particles produced a stable emulsion during 21 days of storage. Using the Taguchi orthogonal array method, the best formula based on the dependent variable is Formula 4 with physical test results at viscosity 566 cp, pH value 8.18, adsorption efficiency 55.70%, creaming index 100%, globule size 57.1 µm, cell diffusion Franz test at 120 minutes resulted in a cumulative penetration of 69.829%. The penetration power of Formula 4 is better than the emulsion with tween and span emulsifiers, which has a cumulative amount at 120 minutes of 12.609%. Therefore, Avicel RC-591 2.5% solid particles with 10% soybean oil concentration resulted in a stable Pickering emulsion and better penetration than emulsions with tween and span emulsifiers.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Self Nano-emulsifying Drug Delivery System (SNEDDS) dengan basis lipid yang mampu membawa zat aktif sukar larut dalam air, permeabilitas dan ketersediaan hayati yang rendah. Kombinasi komponen SNEDDS merupakan campuran isotropik yang stabil dan memberikan pengaruh pada pengujian sediaan. Karakteristik fisik dan stabilitas sediaan yang baik berbanding lurus dengan pengujian in-vitro dan in-vivo, dapat diartikan bahwa zat aktif dalam sistem SNEDDS dapat meningkatkan ketersediaan hayati oral.Tujuan: Review artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi terkait karakteristik fisik, ketersediaan hayati, dan stabilitas sediaan SNEDDS dengan natural oil sebagai fase minyak yang berperan secara sinergis dengan zat aktif.Metode: Penelusuran jurnal ilmiah diambil pada laman Sciencedirect, Researchgate, dan MDPI dalam kurun waktu lima tahun terakhir. Pencarian jurnal ilmiah dengan kata kunci diantaranya bio-active, SNEDDS, stability, bioavailability, anticancer, antiinflammation, dan antioxidant.Hasil: Jurnal ilmiah yang di-review menunjukan bahwa zat aktif berupa ekstrak hingga senyawa sintesis yang diformulasikan dalam sistem SNEDDS mampu meningkatkan ketersediaan hayati oral, stabilitas sediaan, dan karakteristik fisik.Kesimpulan: Self Nano-emulsifying Drug Delivery System (SNEDDS) dengan komponen yang sesuai mampu meningkatkan ketersediaan hayati, mencapai target terapi yang diinginkan, dan berpotensi sebagai pilihan terapi penyakit.

Abstract

Minyak atsiri bunga kecombrang telah diketahui memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap beberapa bakteri Gram positif dan Gram negatif. Bunga kecombrang memiliki empat variasi warna. Tinjauan terhadap kandungan senyawa bunga kecombrang dengan warna spesifik perlu dilakukan untuk membantu pemanfaatannya secara khusus. Ekstrak bunga kecombrang telah terbukti memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap Cutibacterium acnes dan Staphylococcus epidermidis. Namun, belum ada publikasi jurnal aktivitas antibakteri minyak atsiri bunga kecombrang terhadap bakteri penyebab jerawat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan kandungan kimia minyak atsiri bunga kecombrang warna merah dan merah muda serta uji aktivitas antibakteri keduanya terhadap C. acnes. Minyak atsiri diperoleh melalui destilasi uap-air. Analisis kandungan kimia dilakukan menggunakan GC-MS. C. acnes digunakan untuk mengevaluasi aktivitas antibakteri menggunakan mikrodilusi. Sebanyak 72 komponen teridentifikasi pada bunga kecombrang merah sedangkan 59 komponen teridentifikasi pada bunga kecombrang merah muda. Konsentrasi hambat minimum yang dihasilkan adalah 12,5 mg/mL pada masing-masing variasi bunga kecombrang. Kesimpulannya adalah komponen kimia dominan pada minyak atsiri kecombrang merah dan merah muda adalah dodekanal (24,47% dan 25,84%) dan 1-dodekanol (21,15% dan 39,99%). Minyak atsiri bunga kecombrang merah dan merah muda memiliki aktivitas penghambatan terhadap C. acnes.

Abstract

Seaweed is one of the potential fisheries resources of Indonesia. The potency of seaweed can be developed due to its high economic value, abundance, and the potential use as a food and non-food products. The study aims to identify the types of seaweed found on the coast of Pasir Putih Beach and analyze its potential as a cultivation commodity. This research was conducted using the observation method and was carried out in April 2025 at Pasir Putih Beach, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province. Then identification was carried out at the Aquaculture Laboratory (BDP) of the Fisheries Science Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. Purposive Random Sampling method. Sampling was conducted at each sampling station. The results obtained were collected and presented in tabular format and then analyzed descriptively. Furthermore, the data were identified using the “algae base” database, seaweed identification book, and other related literature. The results found three species of macroalgae consisting of one type of green algae (Chlorophyceace), and two types of red algae (Rhodophyceae). The three seaweed species identified are Chaetomorpha crassa, Gracilaria coronopifolia, Acanthophora spicifera. Two out of three species found in Pasir Putih Beach, Tangerang Regency have the potential as an aquaculture commodity

Abstract

Puberty is a transition from childhood to adolescence. Menstruation is a painful condition experienced by every woman in quite severe conditions which can result in obstacles to every daily routine. Pain during menstruation can ideally trigger an emotional increase that is quite uncontrollable, so that apart from needing spiritual self-control, physical control is needed by providing fermented biotechnology products in the form of telang flower kombucha which has been widely proven as a probiotic drink that can improve the system. immunity, inhibits microbial growth, wards off free radicals, prevents the growth of cancer cells. Teenagers who study at SMAN 5 Cilegon, especially those involved in KIR (Youth Scientific Work) activities in the field of biology, have learned a lot about the potential of butterfly pea flower kombucha in health, pharmaceutical, agricultural and livestock aspects from a series of presentations on community service materials in 2023, so that there is In collaboration with schools and biology teachers, KIR supervisors have facilitated the use of butterfly pea flower kombucha as a probiotic drink to control emotions during menstruation. This has been proven based on bivariate analysis through the results of the respective T tests both before intervention and post intervention, obtaining a p value of less than 0.005, indicating that H0 is rejected while Ha is accepted, so there is a significant influence on telang flower kombucha after being given in controlling emotions when period.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze vasectomy policy as a family planning instrument through the lens of Maqashid al-Usrah formulated by Jamaluddin Athiyyah. Using a qualitative method and a normative-juridical approach, the study examines legal regulations, religious fatwas, Islamic literature, and relevant medical data. The findings reveal that although vasectomy is a permanent contraceptive method, it does not inherently contradict Islamic principles if performed voluntarily, based on mutual consent, and not intended as irreversible sterilization. From the Maqashid al-Usrah framework, vasectomy can represent: (1) Tanzhim al-‘Alaqah baina al-Jinsayn justice and shared responsibility between spouses; (2) Hifz an-Nasl responsible limitation to protect the quality of offspring; (3) Tahqiq as-Sakan wa al-Mawaddah wa ar-Rahmah preservation of emotional harmony and spousal compassion through health-oriented decisions; (4) Tanzhim al-Janib al-Mu’assis lil Usrah collective and ethical family decision-making; and (5) Tanzhim al-Mal lil Usrah financial stability through proportional family planning. This study argues that a contextual maqashid approach allows vasectomy to be understood not as prohibited sterilization, but as a preventive measure for long-term family welfare. The implication of this research underscores the urgency of formulating family policies that are just, Sharia-compliant, and uphold the reproductive rights of both partners
