Abstract

Peran seorang istri Tentara Nasional Indonesia sangatlah penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan suami dalam menjalankan tugas. Istri selalu siap mendukung suami meraka. Tekanan kehidupan militer secara tidak langsung dapat dapat menyebabkan terjadinya masalah mental atau psikologis pada keluarga tentara. Tujuan Penelitian ini menggali makna dari pengalaman istri tentara (TNI-AD) yang tinggal dibatalyon saat suami bertugas didaerah rawan konflik. Desain Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi interpretif. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam pada 6 partisipan yaitu istri  tentara yang sesuai dengan kriteria penelitian. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan IPA (Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis). Penelitian ini menghasilkan 7 tema yaitu Gundah mendengar suami ditugaskan, memahami Penugasan suami, Merasa bangga namun khawatir saat suami bertugas, Menghadapi duka nestapa sebagai istri tentara, Kesulitan menggantikan peran ayah dalam merawat anak, Mendapat perlindungan keamanan dari Batalyon, dan  Beradaptasi pada kondisi sulit. Menyediakan fasilitas pemenuhan kebutuhan Psikologis atau kejiwaan,  yang dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan batin dari para istri yang dengan memberikan pembekalan dan motivasi tentang bagaimana mengupayakan sehat jiwa Kata kunci: istri tentara,suami bertugas, daerah rawan konflik, pengorbanan

Abstract

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in Indonesia has not been developed comprehensively. EMS service that has been running is in RSUD dr. Iskak Tulungagung named Tulungagung Emergency Medical Services (TEMS) with the most incident call are traffic accidents. Nurses experienced some obstacles when handling the traffic accident victims which made it cannot be done optimally. This study aims to explore the experience of nurses in conducting EMS on the handling of traffic accident victims in RSUD dr. Iskak Tulungagung. The research was using qualitative method with interpretive phenomenology approach by using data analysis process based on Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Nine themes were obtained from 9 participants: 1) Assuming the importance of providing the best treatment, 2) Encourage team cohesiveness to facilitate handling, 3) Feel the contradictions in the self when dealing with victims, 4) Feeling the emergence of spirit in self, 5) Serving with wholeheartedly embodied with the priority of the victim, 6) Experiencing poor acceptance from the community, 7) Experiencing the limited, 8) Craving accurate service by a competent team, and 9) Feeling increasing public trust who knowing TEMS. Establishing EMS from the beginning to the current process, based on the awareness of the nurse and the relevant parties regarding the appropriate and best handling of traffic accident victims to achieve patient safety. Regular evaluation is needed from all related parties and education for community for handling of traffic accident victims in EMS service so it can be given maximally by the nurse.

Abstract

Hospitalization is an issue that is not expected by everyone, especially children, because they have to undergo some procedure of action and examination. This problem causes anxiety and stress for parents, one of which is marked by muscle tension. This problem can be overcome by nursing actions using Progressive Muscle Relaxation Therapy and Supportive Therapy. The study aims to distinguish the influence of Progressive Muscle Relaxation Therapy and Supportive Therapy in reducing the anxiety parents with children undergoing hospitalization. The research applied quantitative approach with Quasi experimental pre post test, the number of respondents 25 pairs of parent each group, using purposive sampling technique. The research location at RSUD.Dr.R.Soedjono Selong, East Lombok regency on August to October 2017. Based on the result of the study showed decrease of anxiety score the Progressive Muscle Relaxation Therapy was lower than Supportive Therapy, which was 6.30 < 10.44, and t value was 0.000. The used of Progressive Muscle Relaxation Therapy was significant which p value was 0.000. The conclusion of the study results There was a difference in effect between Progressive Muscle Relaxation Therapy and Supportive Therapy in lowering parental anxiety levels, with the results of Progressive Muscle Relaxation Therapy is better to lower parental anxiety than Suportive Therapy. Further research needs to be developed modification of Progressive Muscle Relaxation Therapy versus Supportive Therapy in other groups.Â
