Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of a combination of  organic fertilizer and synthetic fertilizer on the growth and yield of Dayak onion  plant. The research was carried out in a garden in  Berbah, Sleman Special Region of Yogyakarta, at an altitude of ± 194 m above sea level, the average rainfall is 145 mm year-1 and the temperature is between (24 -32) °C. The research is arranged in a Factorial Completely Randomized Design {(3 x 4) 3} = 36 units, each unit consists of 8 plant polybags, 4 plants as sample plants. The first factor is three levels of source  organic fertilizer: cow manure (P1), goat manure (P2) and household waste compost (P3). The second factor is four levels of dose of urea : 0 (N0), 4 (N1), 6 (N2) and 8 (N3) g polybag-1. Observations variables included components of growth and yield of Dayak onions. Analysis of variance used diversity analysis at the 5% level significant, followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test at the 5% level significant. The result of the research showed that there was an interaction between the source of organic fertilizer and the dose of urea fertilizer on the variable components of growth and yield of Dayak onion plant. The best growth of dayak onion plant was obtained from a combination of goad manure with urea fertilizer at a dose of 6 g polybag-1, while high tuber weight was obtained from combination of compost fertilizer and urea at a dose 4 g polybag-1.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to empower the Migunani Women Farmers Group (KWT) in Donomulyo Village, Nanggulan, Kulon Progo, through the implementation of intercropping syste, of sweet corn and vegetable soybeans based on zero-waste farming practices. The program employed two main methods: socialization and participatory mentoring over six months, involving 35 members of the group. The socialization stage focused on the concepts of incropping and the utilization of crop residus as organic fertilizer, while mentoring activities included demonstration plots and field monitoring. The results showed that the intercropping system implroved lan-use efficiency and produced 485 kg of sweet corn and 420 kg of green fodder from 400 m2 of land. This initiative not only enhanced the income and economic independence of women farmers but also fostered awerness of sustainable agriculture through zero-waste practices. The empowerment model developed in this program has strong potential to be replicated by other farmer groups in the Kulon Progo region.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve student mathematics learning outcomes by applying the TAI type of Cooperative learning model. This research is a classroom action research with two cycles. Research subjects class is IX-A, amounting to 28 students. The data collection method of this research are test, observation, and documentation. The results of classroom action research is showed an increase in mathematics learning outcomes, seen from the results of tests between Cycle I and Cycle II, the average value of Cycle I is 73.39, while Cycle II isreached 78.04 resulting in an increase of 4.65. In the mastery aspect of student learning there is a significant increase of 17.86% or 5 students, where is in the first cycle students completed 67.85% or as many as 19 students, while in the second cycle students is completed 85.71% or as many as 24 students from 28 students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar materi barisan dan deret bilangan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching. Subyek penelitian siswa kelas IX-C yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas menunjukkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar materi barisan dan deret bilangan terjadi peningkatan, terlihat dari aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II. Pada siklus I rata-rata aktivitas 12,44 dengan kategori cukup aktif sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 15,98 dengan kategori aktif. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 74,84 meningkat menjadi 77,97 pada siklus II, terjadi peningkatan sebesar 3,13. Pada aspek ketuntasan belajar siswa terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan sebesar 19%, dimana pada siklus I siswa tuntas sebesar 69%, sedangkan pada siklus II siswa tuntas sebesar 88%.
