Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi jenis dan dosis pupuk NPK terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi merah (Oryza nivara L) varietas pamelen. Penelitian dilakukan dengan percobaan faktorial 3 x 3, yang disusun dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan 3 kali ulangan. Faktor pertama: macam pupuk majemuk yang terdiri dari 3 level, yaitu NPK Phonska (15:15:15), NPK Mutiara (16:16:16), dan NPK YaraMila (25:7:7). Faktor kedua: dosis pupuk majemuk yang terdiri dari 3 level, yaitu 300, 400, dan 500 kg/ha. Variabel pengamatan: tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan total, dan dan berat kering tanaman; komponen hasil padi: persentase anakan produktif, persentase gabah isi, berat 1000 gabah kering, hasil per hektar; komponen gisi: kadar karbohidrat, protein, lemak, vitamin B dan amilosa. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh perlakuan, data dianalisis menggunakan analisis varian taraf signifikan 5%, dilanjutkan uji DMRT 5%. Kombinasi perlakuan jenis dan dosis pupuk NPK pada tanaman padi merah varietas pamelen pengaruhnya tidak terjadi interaksi terhadap semua variabel pengamatan pertumbuhan, hasil, dan kadar gisi gabah. Perlakuan jenis pupuk NPK tidak berbeda terhadap parameter pertumbuhan, hasil, dan kadar gisi gabah Perlakuan dosis pupuk NPK tidak beda nyata terhadap semua variabel pertumbuhan, hasil, dan kadar gisi gabah.

Abstract

Budidaya ternak lele merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang dilakukan kelompok tani muda untuk meningkatkan penghasilan. Budidaya lele dalam kolam terpal terbilang inovasi baru dan belum terlalu dikenal oleh masyarakat Dusun Bulu. Tujuan dari pengbadian ini adalah meningkatkan produktivitas ikan lele yang dibudayakan dalam lahan yang lebih sempit. Metode yang digunakan pada pengabdian ini adalah dengan pendampingan selama sekitar 1 bulan meliputi identifikasi masalah dan membuat rencana kerja, pembuatan pakan lele, serta sosialisasi dan evaluasi. Hasil program abdimas ini antara lain terbentuknya rencana kerja, pembuatan pakan lele 30 kg, serta terlaksanakanya penyuluhan dimana peserta dapat mengaplikasikan pembuatan pakan lele untuk budidaya lele terpal. Manfaat untuk dampak sosial dan ekonomi adalah pemanfaatan limbah rumah tangga organik sebagai bahan pakan lele yang lebih terjangkau. Tertundanya kegiatan abdimas di awal adalah karena wabah antrax, sehingga akses masuk ke Dusun Bulu dibatasi untuk warga luar. Meski demikian, peserta abdimas memiliki semangat dan motivasi yang tinggi untuk belajar membuat pakan lele, sehingga kegiatan dapat terlaksana dengan baik hingga akhir. Kata Kunci: Budidaya Lele, Kolam Terpal, Pakan Lele, limbah rumah tangga.

Abstract

Kulon Progo Regency still depends on Magelang and Klaten to meet its functional food needs for sweet corn cobs. The Migunani Women's Farmers Group (KWT) has high potential for developing food crops. With the large area of land owned and the Angora group which is still relatively young. The method used in this service is socialization and mentoring. The result of this service is an empowerment program through the development of sweet corn plants in the Migunani Women's Farmers Group (KWT), Nanggulan, Kulon Progro which has succeeded in increasing corn production. With the support of socialization and mentoring, it is hoped that this program can continue and become a model of empowerment for other farmer groups in the Kulon Progo region.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of a combination of  organic fertilizer and synthetic fertilizer on the growth and yield of Dayak onion  plant. The research was carried out in a garden in  Berbah, Sleman Special Region of Yogyakarta, at an altitude of ± 194 m above sea level, the average rainfall is 145 mm year-1 and the temperature is between (24 -32) °C. The research is arranged in a Factorial Completely Randomized Design {(3 x 4) 3} = 36 units, each unit consists of 8 plant polybags, 4 plants as sample plants. The first factor is three levels of source  organic fertilizer: cow manure (P1), goat manure (P2) and household waste compost (P3). The second factor is four levels of dose of urea : 0 (N0), 4 (N1), 6 (N2) and 8 (N3) g polybag-1. Observations variables included components of growth and yield of Dayak onions. Analysis of variance used diversity analysis at the 5% level significant, followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test at the 5% level significant. The result of the research showed that there was an interaction between the source of organic fertilizer and the dose of urea fertilizer on the variable components of growth and yield of Dayak onion plant. The best growth of dayak onion plant was obtained from a combination of goad manure with urea fertilizer at a dose of 6 g polybag-1, while high tuber weight was obtained from combination of compost fertilizer and urea at a dose 4 g polybag-1.

Abstract

Black cumin (Nigella sativa L.) is an introduced medicinal plant therefore requires investigations to establish recommended cultivation procedure in tropical areas. Black cumin seeds contain a various bioactive compounds not only for culinary but also for medicinal purposes. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of nitrogen rates and shade levels on growth of Black cumin. The activity was carried out in Pasir Sarongge experimental station, Cianjur, West Java (1,117 masl). The research was arranged in nested design with three replications.  Nitrogen rates was nested within shading levels. The shading levels consist of 0%, 25%, 50%, and 75% which resulted in light intensity of 27,800, 17,400, 11,900, and 1,600 lux respectively. The Nitrogen rates consisted 0, 60, 120, and 180 kg ha-1. The results showed that shading up to 50% did not affect plant growth and did not reduce seed production. However, shading up to 75% prolong the vegetative period, decreased leaf thickness and plant dry weight. The higher the shading level up to 50%, the higher the plant height, leaf area, number of leaves and number of flower, but not number of branche. Nitrogen fertilizer 60 kg ha-1 increased number of blooming flower and number of capsule set.
