Abstract

Abstract: Somebody who could not understand themselves and others is the one that had negative self-understanding. The aims of this research were 1) To know the describe of X class boarding school student’ self understanding before doing the guidance group, 2) To know the process of guidance service group in term to increase the students’ self understanding in dormitory life, 3) To know the scribe of self-understanding of X class boarding school students’ after doing the guidance group, 4) To know the diffrence of X class boarding school students’ self-understanding before and after doing the guidance group, 5) To know the effect of guidance group to the increase of X class boarding school students’ self-understanding. This research used pre-experimental method with one group pretest-postest design. The subjects of this research were X SMK Kehutanan Negeri Pekanbaru of academic year 2014/2015 that contained 100 students’. The sample determine used purposive sampling technic and the samples of this research were 30 participants. To distinguish students’ self-understanding before and after the guidance service group, this research used “t” test and thitung had a greater score than ttabel at 5% level (10,69 > 2,000). Thus Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted which meant there were significant diferences between students’ self-understanding before and after doing guidance service group in this research. Then, the result of product moment test r = 0,36 and determination coefisien r2= 0,12. Based on the research that has been done it could be concluded that after doing guidance service group to X class boarding school SMK Kehutanan Negeri Pekanbaru students’ self-understanding has increased in the amount of 12%.Key Words: Guidance Service Group, Self-understanding, Boarding School.

Abstract

Abstract was based on observation that was carried out by the writer through the poll took the form of the scale, then most students in the SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL smoked. The aim of this research was: (1) To know the characteristics of the level of education, the level of economics, and the work kind of parents from the student that smoked (2) To know the behaviour of parents towards the behaviour of the student that smoked. The method that was used in this research was the method deskriktif that is this research aimed at making the description (pencitraan) systematically, factual accurate concerning facts and sipat-sipat the population or certain areas. The population was keselurauahan the object or the subject of the research. In this research the writer's population was all the student the Negeri SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 5 Putih Yang lands smoked. Whereas that was meant by the sample to be part of the representative population this population. In this research the taking of the sample was carried out by means of making all the population become the sample, because of the number of populations not many, then all the population was made the sample (the bored sample).Was based on results of data processing then results of the research were as follows: the characteristics of the level of parents's education for the student that smoked in the SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL is generally the level of low education in fact more than half of the father's education SDTT and hamper half of the mother's education also SDTT, Kateristik the level of parents's economics of the student that smoked was sebagain big the category ekomoni low, only sebagain just small the level ekomoni high, the characteristics of the work kind of parents of the student that smoked was most works of the father of being the farmer and the mother was as the housewife, the Behaviour of parents towards the behaviour of the student that smoked was the child was allowed to work personally to receive money to buy cigarettes, the child smoked outside the house without the controlling of parents, the shortage of the feeling of attention of parents to the health of the child when the child of coughs, the student who smoked his parents also smoked. The recommendation from this research was for the student that smoked in order to not work dipagi the day at the school hour, for the student that smoked so that did not smoke in the school environment, for parents of the student in order to be able to give attention and the love loved the child, for parents of the student that smoked so that did not smoke in front of the child and did not smoke together with the child. The key word: the characteristics of the family and the student that smoked

Abstract

Abstract: The research is entitled “the effect of group counseling toward the self adjustment level of the tenth grade forestry vocational school of pekanbaru in 2014/2015 academic year. It is aimed at 1) finding out the level of self adjustment of the tenth grade students before the group counseling was implemented. 2) finding out the ongoing implementation process of counseling the tenth grade students. 3) finding out the level of self adjustment of the tenth grade students after the group counseling was implemented. 4) finding out the differences between pre-implemetation and post-implementation of group counseling toward tenth grade students’ self adjustment level. 5) finding out whether there is an effect of group counseling toward tenth grade students’ self adjustment level. The research subjects are 100 students of the tenth grade of forestry vocational school of pekanbaru. 30% of the population that is equal to 30 persons were taken as samples by using random sampling. As a description of students’ self adjustment level before the implemetation of group counseling, most of them are categorized as unfavorable, a small portion of the students are categorized as very unfavorable, and none of them are categorized as pretty good, good, and very good. While, as a description of post-implemetation of group counseling, the students’ self adjustment level are 16,67% categorized as good, mostly 83,33% are categorized as very good, and none of them are categorized as very unfavorable, pretty unfavorable, and very unfavorable. Based on the hypothesis result test, it shoes that there is significant effect of group discussion toward students’ self adjustment which is amounted to 48%.Keywords: Group Counseling and Self-Adjustment.

Abstract

Abstract: The threatening conditions often cause students feel depressed. Therefore, it is important for the students to have skills in order to manage their stress in the form of Stress Management. The objective this research are (1) to describe students’ Stress Management before Information Services were applied, (2) to identify the process in giving Information Services to the students’ Management Stress, (3) to identify the description of students’ Stress Management after Information Services were applied, (4) to identify the differences of students’ Stress Management before and after Information Services are were applied, (5) to identify the influences of Information Services to the students’ Stress Management. This research used the pre-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design. The subject of this research is class X of SMK Kehutanan Negeri Pekanbaru, that consist of 100 students. The sample was determined by using saturated sample. In order to distinguish students’ Management Stress before and after Information Services given, "t" test is applied and thitung obtaining a greater score ttabel than the score at the level of 5% (11,29>1,960). Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted which meant in this research differences before and after the implementation of Information Service to increase students’ Stress Management. The result of the moment product testing r=0,34 and the determination coefficient r2=0,11. Based on the result of conducted research, it can be concluded that after the implementation of Information Service, the students’ Stress Management in Boarding School of class X SMK Kehutanan Negeri Pekanbaru has increased 11%.Key Words: Information Service, Stress Management, Boarding School.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims 1) To reveal the emotional intelligence of students before being held counseling services group 2) To know the process of implementing the guidance of the group to improve the emotional intelligence of students 3) To reveal the emotional intelligence of students after being given guidance services group 4) To see whether there are differences in intelligence Emotional students before and after group counseling 5) To determine the effect of group counseling services to increase emotional intelligence of students. Data collection tools such as emotional intelligence questionnaire. Subjects were students of class X IPS SMAN 5 Pekanbaru totaling 147 people. The samples using purposive sampling and the sample in this study as many as 30 people. Emotional intelligence picture before the given group counseling services are in the low category of 83.3%, the category was 16.7% and amounted to 0% higher category. Picture of emotional intelligence of students after a given group counseling services are in high category of 13.3%, medium category by 80% and 6.7% lower categories. Based on the calculation of the correlation coefficient is 0.50 and the determinant coefficient = 0.25 it means the donation of 25% of group counseling. It can be seen larger than (10.07> 2,000) so that Ha is accepted. Means that there are significant group counseling to improve emotional intelligence class X IPS SMAN 5 Pekanbaru TA. 2014/2015.Key Words: Guidance Services Group, Emotional Intelligent

Abstract

Abstract: Smoking dipsomania in the students’ environment of course really constrains the achievement of education goal. This research purposes are 1) to know the description of smoking addicted level of student before given the SEFT therapies. 2) To know theraphy applying process of SEFT via individual counselling in decreasing smoking addicted level of the students. 3) To know the description of students smoking addicted level after given the SEFT theraphies. This research uses pre-experimental method designed one group pretest posttest design. The sample of this research are 5 students which experience smoking dipsomania. The dipsomnia level of konseli F before given the theraphy is 70%, decreases until 0% after given the therapy and increases back on post test both of as 66,6%. On konseli D, before given the therapy, the addicted level is as big as 80%, decrease until 0% and increases back on post test both of as 63,3 %. On konseli H before given the theraphy is 73,3%, decreases until 0% after given the therapy and increases back to 46,6 %. On konseli R before given the theraphy is 66,6%, increases bbecome 70 % after given the therapy. But, on post test researcher could not find out how the level of smoking dipsomnia of R since R move to SMK. On konseli A, before given the theraphy is 50%, the pretest result is unknowledgeable because he goes home and never back to the boarding school since the first test, but he returns to the Pesantren Darul Qur’an Boarding School on post test and if it was compared with pre- test result,the addicted level of the smoking dipsomnia decrease to 46,6%.Key Words: Smoking Dipsomania, SEFT Therapy, Individual Counselling.
