Abstract

Exploration of ethnopedagogical values of the Osing tribe is essential to uncover the values of biological characters because the Osing tribe 3closely related to the application of biological science, for example, in utilizing plants for traditional ceremonial activities or as medicinal plants. This study aims to explore the character values contained in the folk song of the Osing Banyuwangi tribe, related to the formation of attitudes or characters needed in studying biology. The study was conducted using a survey method using structured interview techniques, semi-structured interviews, and in-depth interviews of 15 informants selected using Purposive Sampling and snowball sampling techniques. Data analysis consists of 3 stages: data reduction, data presentation, and making conclusions. The results of the study mentioned that the ethno-pedagogical values are found in “Tetak-tetak” and “Nggolek Ilmu” folk song of Fatrah-Abal. These two songs express explicit and implicit values of biological characters. The tetak-tetak and nggolek ilmu folk song became a community media in instilling the attitude or character values needed in studying biology at pre-school age. These values ​​will be further developed in learning biology in schools, which are carried out in an integrated manner in affective aspect.

Abstract

This study examines the complex relationship between language and identity within the Tobelo Dalam tribe, a semi-nomadic and socially marginalized community in North Halmahera, Indonesia. This research uses qualitative content analysis of ethnographic and linguistic literature to trace the beginnings of the Tobelo Dalam language and investigate its divergence from standard Tobelo. Essential findings indicate notable phonological, morphological, and syntactic differences alongside preserved archaic Austronesian vocabulary, implying linguistic independence influenced by ecological seclusion and oral customs. Concurrently, common grammatical characteristics and ethnobotanical lexicon corroborate cultural and linguistic continuity. These dynamics underscore a dual process of distinction and convergence that defines the group's evolving identity. The research determines that Tobelo Dalam should be considered a unique language and cultural entity. It promotes the immediate implementation of micro-level documentation and inclusive language policies that honour Indigenous self-determination. The results enhance discussions on language endangerment, cultural resilience, and the necessity for decolonial approaches in linguistic anthropology.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menghasilkan buku projek yang dapat meningkatkan profil pelajar Pancasila siswa. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu research and development dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai validasi buku projek sebesar 3,46 kategori sangat layak, rata-rata nilai pretest-postest ujicoba skala terbatas sebesar 63 meningkat menjadi 75, dengan nilai rata-rata n-gain score sebesar 0,44 kategori sedang. Nilai rata-rata hasil pretest-postest ujicoba skala luas sebesar 63 meningkat menjadi 80, dengan nilai rata-rata n-gain score sebesar 0,48 dengan kategori sedang. Nilai rata-rata dimensi profil pelajar Pancasila sebelum melaksanakan projek sebesar 80,2 meningkat menjadi 89,4 setelah melakukan projek. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku projek pelajar Pancasila yang telah dikembangkan ini layak digunakan sebagai salah satu referensi untuk meningkatkan profil pelajar Pancasila siswa SMA N 8 Kota Ternate.
