Abstract

The research aimed to examine the ability of bioaccumulation of Cr6+ by marine phytoplankton Tetraselmis chuii as water bioindicators. The analysis method used was Atom Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). The results of research indicate that the optimum growth time of Tetraselmis chuii phytoplankton for 10 days with maximum cell density as big as 1.850.000 cells/mL phytoplankton. Maximum concentration ion  Cr6+  that can be tolerated (MTC) by Tetraselmis chuii  phytoplankton is 0.250 ppm. Bioaccumulation ion Cr6+ in marine phytoplankton Tetraselmis chuii follow  orde-1 mechanism with optimum time of 30 minutes at Tetraselmis chuii. intake constant velocity of k1 in a row is 0.0120/minutes. Constant release rate velocity of k2 in a raw is 0.0003/minutes. Key words : Kinetics, ion, chromium, T.chuii.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the molecular structure modeling and the quantitative relationship of the activity structure (QSAR) of substituted myristicin derivatives with electron donor groups such as -C6H5 (M1), -NH2 (M2), -Cl (M3), -F (M4), and -H (M5). The results of geometry optimization with the DFT (Density Fractal Theory) method or density functional calculations calculated with the density level of B3LYP/6-31G each obtained the total energy of each compound M1- M5: M1: 175.49 kcal/mol M2: 132.707 kcal/mol, M3: 115.701 kcal/mol, M4: 116.048 kcal/mol, M5: 121.377 kcal/mol. Determining the relationship between descriptors and the antioxidant activity (IC50) for basic structure myristicin compounds and five derivatives was carried out using SPSS 21. The results of the correlation analysis showed that there was a relationship between the descriptors and antioxidant activity. Determining the best QSAR equation model is done by analyzing multiple linear and multilinear regression using IBM SPSS 21. The results of multiple linear regression analysis or multilinear regression obtained for the best QSAR equation model are: Log P = -2.600 + (0.006) IW- (1.558) qC8 - (6.532) EHOMO + (0.014) PSA + (0.133) MD with n = 6, R = 1.000, R2 = 0.926, SE = 0.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan molymod, besar pengaruh penggunaan molymod serta mengetahui respon peserta didik terhadap molymod pada materi senyawa karbon terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XII-IPA MAS Nurul Huda Dowora Kota Tidore Kepulauan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal tes, lembar angket respon siswa dan guru. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Berdasarkan analisis data, disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan molymod dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa tetapi dengan interpretasi rendah. Hal ini sesuai dengan hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan SPSS 21.0 dengan uji wilcoxon signed rank test diperoleh nilai Asymp.sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,01 (p) 0,05 maka Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Pad uji wilcoxon diperoleh mean rank atau rata-rata peningkatannya sebesar 7,19 dengan interpretasi rendah. Angket respon siswa dan guru memperoleh hasil rata-rata angket sebesar 83,98% dan 78,3% dengan kategori tertarik. Kata Kunci :        Hasil Belajar Siswa, Molymod, Senyawa KarbonAbstract This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of using molymod, how much influence the use of molymod had, and knowing the response of student to molymod on carbon compouns on the learning outcomes of students in class XII-IPA MAS Nurul Huda Dowora City of Tidore Islands. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with the instruments used are test questions, student and teacher response questionnaire sheets. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential statistical analysis techniques. Based on data analysis, the key is that the use of molymod can improve student learning outcomes but with low interpretation. This is in accordance with the results of hypothesis testing using SPSS 21.0 with the wilcoxon signed rank test, the Asymp.sig. (2— tailed) value of 0.01 (p) 0.05 is accepted, then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. In the wilcoxon test, the mean rank or average increase is 7.19 with a low interpretation. Questionnaire responses from students and teacher obtained an average questionnaire result of 83.98% and 78.3% in the interested category. Keywords:Learning Outcomes, Molymod, Carbon Compounds.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar siswa di MAS Al- Karimah Galela. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yaitu One Group Pretest Posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa siswi kelas XI MAS Al- Karimah Galela yang berjumlah 19 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu sampling jenuh. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu instrumen tes berupa soal essay sebanyak 10 nomor. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan Uji Paired Sample Test. Hasil uji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diperoleh nilai signifikan 0,000 atau 0,05 maka Ha diterimah dan H0 ditolak, sehingga model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa, dengan besar pengaruh yang diperoleh dari uji nilai gain sebesar 0,55 dengan kategori sedang.Kata Kunci: Inkuiri Terbimbing. The type of researcher used is experimental research with a research design, namely One Group Pretest Posttest. The population in this study was all 19 class XI MAS Al-Karimah Galela students using a sampling technique, namely saturated sampling. The instrument used in this research is a test instrument in the form of 10 essay questions. The data obtained was then analyzed using the Paired Sample Test. The results of the hypothesis test in this study obtained a significant value of 0.000 or    0.05, so Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected, so that the Guided Inquiry learning model had an effect on student learning outcomes, with a large influence obtained from the gain value test of 0.55 with the category currently.Keyword: Guided  Inquiry.  Learning Outcomes, colloidal

Abstract

Abstrak Pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis model inkuiri terbimbing menggunakan modul elektronik terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi kesetimbangan kimia di SMA Negeri 11 Halmahera Timur. Jenis penelitian ini adalah  penelitian eksperimen menggunakan design one group pretest posttest. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 11 Halmahera Timur tahun ajaran 2022/2023 yang berjumlah 19 siswa yang terdiri hanya satu kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel digunakan ialah sampling jenuh atau semua populasi dijadikan sampel. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa soal essay sebanyak 10 item yang digunakan untuk mengukur hasil belajar kognitif siswa, dan lembar observasi untuk mengukur ranah afektif dan psikomotorik. Teknik analisis data satatistik menggunakan SPSS windows version 21.0. sig0,05 atau 0,0000,05, hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh thitunglttabel atau 7.7871,734, maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hasil ranah afektif sebanyak 55 dengan kategori cukup dan ranah psikomotorik sebanyak 53 dengan kategori cukup. Besar pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbatu modul elektronik terhadap hasil belajar siswa diperoleh dari nilai gain 0.18 dengan kategori rendah. Kata Kunci: Model Inkuiri Terbimbing, Modul Elektronik Abstract This research was conducted to determine the effect of guided inquiry model-based learning using electronic modules on student learning outcomes on chemical equilibrium material at SMA Negeri 11 Halmahera Timur. This type of research is experimental research using a one group pretest posttest design. The sample in the study was all students of class XI at SMA Negeri 11  Halmahera Timur for the academic year 2022/2023, totaling 19 students consisting of only one class. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling or the entire population is used as a sample. The instrument used in this study was in the form of 10 item essay questions used to measure students' cognitive learning outcomes, and observation sheets to measure affective and psychomotor domains. Statistical data analysis techniques using SPSS windows version 21.0. sig0.05 or 0.0000.05, the results of the hypothesis test are tcountlttable or 7,7871.734, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The results of the affective domain were 55 in the sufficient category and the psychomotor domain was 53 in the sufficient category. The influence of the electronic module guided inquiry learning model on student learning outcomes is obtained from the gain value of 0.18 in the low category. Keywords: Guided Inquiry Models, Electronic  modules

Abstract

AbstrakMerkuri (Hg) adalah logam berat yang bersifat beracun dan dapat memiliki dampak serius pada kesehatan manusia serta lingkungan. Senyawa merkuri sering ditemukan dalam bentuk ion, senyawa organik, atau sebagai uap. Penggunaan merkuri dalam industri, seperti penambangan emas, dapat menyebabkan pencemaran tanah dan air, yang berpotensi mengakumulasi dalam rantai makanan. Paparan merkuri dapat mengakibatkan berbagai masalah kesehatan, termasuk kerusakan sistem saraf dan gangguan perkembangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kemampuan tanaman rumput kerbau (Paspalum conjugatum) dalam fitoremediasi, yang berprinsip pada pengadsorpsi logam merkuri (Hg) dari limbah tambang emas di Desa Kusubibi, menggunakan spektrofotometri serapan atom (AAS). Penanaman rumput kerbau dilakukan dengan cara stek batang. Tanaman berhasil tumbuh baik di tanah tercemar merkuri selama 90 hari. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi merkuri pada akar, daun, dan batang masing-masing sebesar 733,28 μg/kg, 868,51 μg/kg, dan 522,66 μg/kg. Total konsentrasi merkuri di tanah setelah penanaman adalah 1154,52 μg/kg. Nilai Bioaccumulation Factor (BCF) dan Translocation Factor (TF) masing-masing adalah 1,84 dan 1,18, menunjukkan bahwa Paspalum conjugatum dapat berfungsi sebagai fitoakumulator yang efektif dalam menyerap dan mentranslokasikan merkuri dari tanah ke bagian tanaman. Hasil ini menegaskan potensi tanaman rumput kerbau sebagai alternatif dalam remediasi lingkungan tercemar logam berat, khususnya merkuri dari limbah tambang.. Kata Kunci:Merkuri, Limbah, Tanaman Rumput KerbauAbstractMercury (Hg) is a heavy metal that is toxic and can have serious impacts on human health and the environment. Mercury compounds are often found in the form of ions, organic compounds, or as vapor. The use of mercury in industries such as gold mining can lead to soil and water contamination, which has the potential to accumulate in the food chain. Exposure to mercury can result in various health issues, including damage to the nervous system and developmental disorders. This study aims to evaluate the ability of buffalo grass (Paspalum conjugatum) in phytoremediation, based on the principle of adsorbing mercury (Hg) from gold mining waste in the village of Kusubibi, using atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS). The buffalo grass was planted using stem cuttings. The plants thrived well in mercury-contaminated soil for 90 days. Analysis results showed that the concentration of mercury in the roots, leaves, and stems was 733.28 μg/kg, 868.51 μg/kg, and 522.66 μg/kg, respectively. The total concentration of mercury in the soil after planting was 1154.52 μg/kg. The Bioaccumulation Factor (BCF) and Translocation Factor (TF) values were 1.84 and 1.18, respectively, indicating that Paspalum conjugatum can function as an effective phytoremediator in absorbing and translocating mercury from the soil to the plant parts. These results underscore the potential of buffalo grass as an alternative for remediating environments contaminated with heavy metals, particularly mercury from mining waste.Mercury, Paspalum Conjugatum

Abstract

Cooking oil is a basic need for everyday people, approximately 80% of the people of Ternate City use cooking oil repeatedly for cooking in order to save costs. The repeated use of used cooking oil or waste cooking oil with high heating produces free fatty acids, carbonyl compounds, peroxides, decreases the value and nutrition of fried foods, so that over time it has an impact on health. Efforts to process used cooking oil in the City of Ternate by saving costs but not endangering health really need to be carried out by using the typical North Maluku banana peel (Musa sp) as a natural adsorbent to purify used cooking oil. Starting from the preparation of tools and materials, the processing of banana peels, mixing the ingredients in the adsorbent, testing the levels of free fatty acids, determining the levels of free fatty acids and the characteristics of the clusters of banana peels using the Fourier Transform-Infra Red. In this study, the percentage reduction in free fatty acid levels was 0.833%, which was originally 1.882%. These results indicate that the refining of used cooking oil using banana peels is close to the Free Fatty Acid (FFA) value regulated in the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) of 0.3%. Keywords: Used cooking oil, peel of banana's mouth duck (Musa sp), refining.
