Abstract

The purpose of this study is to get results of interactive CD development valid, practical and effective statistical material. The type of this research is development research which refers to ADDIE (Analysis, Desigh, Development, Implementation aand Evaluatin). The subject of this research is xi grade of SMK Bhakti Praja 2 Batang. The instrument used in this research is (1) media expert evaluation questionnaire (2) material expert evaluation questionmire (3) student response questionnaire (4) student evaluation questions. The method used in gathering the data is, by doing observations, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The results of this study show the validty quality of the interactive CD meetr valid criteria shown by media experts who obtained and average score of 3,8 from maximum score 4 which is good, while material experts get 4,1 from maximum score 5 which means good. Quality of practicality of learning devices practical criteria indicate by the average score of student 4,01 from maximum score 5 which means good. Quality of effectiveness of learning devices in terms of students’ mathematical communication skills meet practical criteria shown by the percentage of students completeness 87,5% which means good. Of the 32 student, there are 28 students who had completed grads.

Abstract

Pentingnya kreativitas dalam pemecahan masalah serta kondisi yang dialami siswa SMPN 24 Semarang bahwa kreativitas masih menjadi kendala sampai saat ini. Permasalahan dalam menyelesaikan pemecahan masalah matematis diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang dapat mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui apakah rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang diajar menggunakan pendekatan open-ended diatas KKM. (2) Untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh kreativitas terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis metodologi penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimental. Peneliti melakukan eksperimen dengan tujuan yang jelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kreativitas saling berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah, yang menunjukan adanya hubungan positif antara variabel bebas dengan variabel terikat saling berpengaruh. Hasil Penelitian dapat disimpulkan: (1) Berdasarkan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan open ended siswa memiliki nilai diatas kkm. (2) Kreativitas berpengaruh terhadap penyelesaian masalah matematis terlihat dari hasil analisiss regresi menunjukkan nilai sig 0,002 < 0,05. Kata kunci : Pendekatan Open Ended, Kreativitas, Pemecahan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis mahasiswa dengan model IDEAL Problem Solving. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan pada mahasiswa pendidikan matematika IKIP Veteran Semarang, dengan subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa S1 yang mengambil mata kuliah Kapita Selekta Matematika 1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran IDEAL Problem Solving dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the STEM approach to mathematics learning achievement in class XI Machining Engineering Expertise Competency at SMK NU Maarif Kudus. The research objects are class XI TP 4 (control class) and class XI TP 5 (experimental class) in the 2019/2020 school year. This type of research is quantitative research with posttest only control design. The sample selection was based on observations and recommendations from the mathematics teacher and obtained class XI TP 5 as an experimental class was treated with the learning process with the STEM approach and class XI TP 4 as a control class. The t test results (independent sample t-test) showed that the Sig. (2-tailed) 0.036 0.05. This means that from the hypothesis that was built, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. From the results of tests conducted it can be said that there are significant mean differences between classes with the STEM approach compared with the scientific approach. Besides the STEM approach is more effective in giving an impact on student achievement.

Abstract

Guru berperan dalam membantu proses pengkontruksian pengetahuan siswa, yakni dengan guru tidak mentrasferkan pengetahuan yang dimilikinya, melainkan membantu siswa untuk membentuk pengetahuannya sendiri. Pengetahuan dapat dibentuk siswa berdasarkan pengalaman, kreativitas dan bantuan atau dukungan dari pihak guru, oleh karena itu guru harus mampu menciptakan pembelajaran matematika yang efektif dengan menambahkan konsep pada siswa melalui pendekatan dan media yang sesuai dengan materi, dan perkembangan siswa dalam memahami materi. Pembelajaran interaktif berbasis komputer mampu mengaktifkan siswa untuk belajar dengan motivasi yang tinggi karena ketertarikannya pada sistem multimedia, salah satu modul atau bahan ajar perlu dikembangkan agar siswa menyukai matematika, dan lebih termotivasi dalam belajar mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penerapan e-modul berbasis Kvisoft Flipbook Maker pada mata pelajaran matematika materi satuan panjang kelas 3 SD, metode pada penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode Research & Development model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu : 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, 5) Evaluation. Hasil dari penelitin ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai efektivitas oleh respon guru mendapat skor 90% dengan kriteria “sangat baik” dan juga respon siswa rata-rata skor 79,27% dengan kriteria “Layak”, berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka disimpulkan bahwa penerapan e-modul berbasis Kvisoft Flipbook Maker efektif digunakan pada materi satuan panjang mata pelajaran matematika kelas 3 SD.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to find out which is better between mathematics learning outcomes in Cokroaminoto Batang Junior High School students who are taught using the Cooperative learning model Numbered Head Together (NHT) or those who are taught using the Cooperative learning model type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) in the material mathematics field rectangular. The sample of this study consisted of 2 classes, namely experimental class 1 and experimental class 2 using the NHT and STAD methods. This study used qualitative research methods. Data collection methods used are documentation and test methods. Research instruments in the form of learning tools and mathematics test results. Data analysis performed was a prerequisite test using the average similarity test and hypothesis testing by calculating the average. The results showed that the average learning outcomes of experimental class 1 students amounted to 76,875 and experimental class 2 amounted to 72,56667 which means that classroom learning outcomes taught by NHT type cooperative learning models were better than classroom learning outcomes taught by the STAD type cooperative learning models. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the NHT type of cooperative learning model is more effective when compared to the STAD type cooperative learning model on the subject of quadrilateral in class VII students of Cokroaminoto Batang Middle School Academic Year 2018/2019 Keywords: STAD type cooperative learning model, NHT type cooperative learning model, learning outcomes .

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui serta menganalisis faktor kesulitan belajar matematika siswa pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIIA MTs Al Hidayah Sadeng Kota Semarang sebanyak 33 siswa akan tetapi pada saat penelitian tidak hadir 3 siswa, sehingga subjek penelitian sebanyak 30 siswa. Instrumen penelitian adalah lembar observasi kemampuan komunikasi matematis sebanyak 4 aspek pengamatan, angket faktor kesulitan pembelajaran sebanyak 50 butir soal pilihan ganda, soal tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis sebanyak 2 butir soal essay, serta wawancara. Hasil tes yang telah dilaksanakan membagi siswa ke dalam 3 kriteria kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Terlihat analisis angket kesulitan belajar pada kemampuan komunikasi tinggi sebanyak 9 siswa mengalami kesulitan belajar pada faktor internal yaitu kesiapan belajar yang rendah, analisis angket kesulitan belajar pada kemampuan komunikasi sedang sebanyak 18 siswa mengalami kesulitan belajar pada faktor internal yaitu motivasi belajar dan keaktifan bertanya, serta analisis angket kesulitan belajar pada kemampuan komunikasi matematis rendah sebanyak 3 siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar pada faktro internal yaitu pad bakat dan minat belajar serta pada faktor eksternal yaitu pada perhatian orangtua.

Abstract

Education has a vital role to face these challenges, education is a means of preventing risk, as well as a tool that can help improve the quality of human life in a sustainable manner. For this reason, current education is expected to be able to develop students to think creatively, be flexible, solve problems, collaborate and innovative skills needed for success in work and life. This study aims to explore the abilities and factors that influence students' numeracy literacy in solving problem problems in terms of visual and auditory learning styles in the material of the Two-Variable Linear Equation System. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research. Meanwhile, the method used is a case study. The case study method was chosen in order to be able to answer the research questions posed, namely to explore numerical literacy abilities and the factors that influence students' numeracy literacy in the SPLDV problem in terms of visual and auditory learning styles. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that students' mathematical numeracy literacy skills in SPLDV problem problems in terms of visual and auditory learning styles in class X TKR students and class X TB students at SMK Al Hikmah Bakalrejo, are still unsatisfactory where students in class X TKR only achieve an average an average of 60.7% of the practice questions worked on, while class X TB students only achieved an average of 38.9% of the practice questions worked on. This shows that the level of numeracy literacy is still low at the Al Hikmah Bakalrejo school. Keywords: mathematical numeracy literacy, SPLDV, visual and auditory learning styles.

Abstract

Teaching materials are learning tools that contain materials, learning methods, and ways to evaluate students which are arranged systematically to achieve learning objectives. The teaching materials used during mathematics learning are textbooks that make it difficult for students to understand the material and educators have not developed teaching materials based on a realistic mathematics education using the Tri N teaching. This research aims to determine the validity and responses of students to the development of mathematics teaching materials based on realistic mathematics education using Tri N teaching on the material of linear equation system class X SMK. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) which aims to produce and test product quality. This research refers to the 4D development model, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. However, this research only reached the development stage. Data was collected by using documentation techniques, validation sheets, and student response questionnaires. The test subjects were students of class X TKJ 1 SMK Kesuma Margoyoso. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. This research produces a product of mathematics teaching materials with an average percentage of 85.6% which is included in the very valid category. Student responses to teaching materials are in the very good category with an average percentage of 82.22%. This shows that teaching materials are suitable for use in learning at school. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi banyak siswa yang kurang memiliki kemampuan dan kemauan belajar, sehingga belajar merupakan sesuatu yang sulit dan membosankan terutama pelajaran matematika, serta menganggap matematika adalah pelajaran yang kurang berguna dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Salah satu penyebab adalah rasa kebosanan, kesulitan dan ketakutan siswa terhadap pelajaran matematika serta anggapan ketidakgunaan pelajaran matematika dalam kehidupan sehari-hari khususnya materi geometri dan pengukuran. Pada akhirnya melemahkan daya kreatifitas dan kemandirian siswa dalam belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika materi keliling dan luas bangun segiempat pada siswa kelas VII A di SMP Negeri 33 Semarang dengan penerapan “Rute Emas” sebagai salah satu desain Math Trail suatu pembelajaran di luar kelas. Pada peta “Math Trail” atau setiap titik petunjuk penjelajahan siswa dapat merumuskan, mendiskusikan, dan memecahkan masalah matematika yang menarik. Kegiatan Math Trail dapat dilakukan sendirian atau berkelompok untuk saling bekerja sama untuk memecahkan permasalahan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas meliputi 4 langkah: planning, actuating, observation, dan reflecting. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Hasil tes rata-rata kelas pada siklus pertama dan kedua mengalami peningkatan dari 73,66 menjadi 75,05 serta prosentase banyaknya siswa yang mendapat nilai minimal 67 adalah 23 siswa (74,19)% menjadi 27 siswa (87,10%). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah materi menggunakan rumus keliling dan luas segiempat dalam menyelesaikan masalah melalui penerapan “Rute EMAS” sebagai salah satu desain Math Trail suatu pembelajaran matematika. Kata kunci: kemampuan pemecahan masalah, desain Math Trail. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by many students who lack the ability and willingness to learn, so learning is something difficult and boring, especially mathematics, and considers mathematics to be a lesson that is less useful in everyday life. One of the causes is a sense of boredom, difficulties and fears of students towards mathematics and the presumption of the uselessness of mathematics in everyday life, especially geometry and measurement material. In the end it weakens the creativity and independence of students in learning. The purpose of this study was to improve the mathematical problem solving abilities of the surrounding and wide-area quadrilateral in students of class VII A in 33 State Junior High School Semarang by applying "Golden Route" as one of the Math Trail designs for learning outside the classroom. On the "Math Trail" map or each exploration point of instruction students can form, discuss, and solve interesting mathematical problems. Math Trail activities can be done alone or in groups to work together to solve problems. This research is a classroom action research covering 4 steps: planning, actuating, observation, and reflecting. The results showed that the results of the class average tests in the first and second cycles had increased from 73.66 to 75.05 and the percentage of students who received a minimum score of 67 was 23 students (74.19)% to 27 students (87.10 %). These results indicate an increase in the ability of material problem solving using the circumference formula and square area in solving problems through the application of "EMAS Routes" as one of the Math Trail designs in a mathematics learning.
