Abstract

Perilaku menyontek dianggap menjadi hal yang biasa dikalangan siswa maupun mahasiswa, sehingga perlu untuk dicarikan solusi dan langkah pemecahan masalah dalam hal ini. Banyak faktor yang menyebabkan masalah ini, diantaranya adalah orientasi akademik siswa. Perilaku menyontek dalam penelitian ini dikategorikan menjadi nilai kepribadian menyontek dan kuantitas praktik menyontek siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan : 1) untuk mengetahui hubungan antara goal orientation dengan nilai kepribadian menyontek siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama pada pelajaran matematika. 2) untuk mengetahui hubungan antara nilai kepribadian menyontek dengan kuantitas praktik menyontek siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama pada pelajaran matematika. 3) untuk mengetahui hubungan antara goal orientation dengan kuantitas praktik menyontek siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama pada pelajaran matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 4 Demak yang diambil 26 siswa dengan random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, soal tes matematika, observasi, dan wawancara. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan mencari nilai dari masing-masing variabel, yaitu 1) nilai goal orientation, 2) nilai kepribadian menyontek, dan 3) nilai kuantitas praktik menyontek. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara goal orientation perilaku menyontek siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari ketiga hasil uji hipotesisnya yaitu: (1). Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara goal orientation dengan nilai kepribadian menyontek. (2). Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara nilai kepribadian menyontek dengan kuantitas praktik menyontek siswa. serta (3). Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara goal orientation dengan kuantitas praktik menyontek siswa. Kata kunci: goal orientation, kepribadian menyontek, kuantitas praktik menyontek. ABSTRACT Cheating behavior is considered to be common among students, so it is necessary to find solutions and problem solving steps in this matter. Many factors cause this problem, including the student's academic orientation. Cheating behavior in this study was categorized as cheating personality values ??and the quantity of practice in cheating students. This study aims: 1) to determine the relationship between goal orientation and personality values ??cheating junior high school students on mathematics. 2) to find out the relationship between personality values ??cheat with the quantity of practice in cheating junior high school students on mathematics. 3) to find out the relationship between goal orientation and the quantity of practice in cheating junior high school students on mathematics. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The research subjects were grade VII students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 4 Demak which were taken by 26 students by random sampling. Data collection methods used were questionnaires, math test questions, observation, and interviews. The research data is collected by looking for the value of each variable, namely 1) the value of the goal orientation, 2) the value of the cheating personality, and 3) the quantity value of the practice of cheating. Data analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between the goal orientation of students cheating behavior. This can be seen from the three results of the hypothesis test, namely: (1). There is a significant relationship between goal orientation and cheating personality values. (2). There is a significant relationship between personality values ??cheating on the quantity of practice in cheating students. and (3). There is a significant relationship between the goal orientation and the quantity of practice in cheating students. Keywords: goal orientation, personality cheating, quantity of cheating practices.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe David Kolb's learning style according to the mathematical representation of students. This research is qualitative. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII SMP Agus Salim Semarang. The data were obtained by using the test method of the mathematical representation ability instrument, questionnaire of KLSI (Kolb Learning Style Inventory), interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are: (1). Students with High Mathematical Representation Ability tend to have an assimilator type of learning style, (2). Students with Medium Mathematical Representation Ability tend to have a converger learning style type, and (3). Students with Low Mathematical Representation Ability tend to have a divergent learning style. Teachers are suggested to identify students’ learning styles to be the best teachers for students. It is also recommended to collect mathematical representation-based problems to improve students' mathematical representation skills. Abstract

Teaching materials are learning tools that contain materials, learning methods, and ways of evaluating students which are arranged systematically to achieve learning objectives. The teaching materials used during mathematics learning are textbooks which make it difficult for students to understand the material and educators have not developed teaching materials using Tri N teachings. This study aims to determine the validity and response of students to the development of mathematics teaching materials using Tri N teachings on material One Variable Linear Equations and Inequalities. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) which aims to produce and test product quality. This research refers to the 4D development model, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. However, this research only reached the develop stage. Data collection was carried out using documentation techniques, validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The test subjects were class VII students of MTs Al Hidayah Sadeng. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. This research produced mathematics teaching material products with an average percentage of 85.6% which were included in the very valid category. Student responses to teaching materials are in the very good category with an average percentage of 82.22%. This shows that teaching materials are appropriate for use in learning at school.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) generate a valid learning tool and (2) the implementation of an effective learning device. Development of learning tools using a modified model of Thiagarajan. Techniques of data analysis with descriptive analysis, test mastery learning using t-test, z proportions, regression testing, and test for normality gain. The results showed that: (1) a device developed has been declared valid by the validator with an average score of 4.18 for the syllabus, 4.24 for RPP, 4.35 for LKS, 4.37 for the Student Book, 4,00 for the TKPM and (2) test devices produce (a) mastery of problem-solving ability of students eligible 75,00 statistically complete with average 77.58 (b) curiosity and problem solving skills positively by 63.7% of the problem-solving abilities with equation Y = -11.120 + 0.988X1 + 0.941X2 (c) increase the curiosity of 4 selected samples ranged from 0.33 to 0.58 and problem solving skills ranged from 0.31 to 0.41 are included in the medium category (d) affect the learning process of the formation of character education and problem solving include attention, memory, thinking processes, and response.Keywords: IDEAL Problem Solving, Information Processing Theory, Character Education

Abstract

Skripsi atau tugas akhir merupakan salah satu syarat untuk memperoleh gelar akademik pada program Sarjan (S1). Permasalahannya tidak semua mahasiswa memiliki kemampuan menulis karya ilmiah dengan baik, salah satunya dalam bentuk skripsi. Studi pendahuluan di Universitas Ivet menjelaskan bahwa literasi menulis mahasiswa masih harus ditingkatkan. Salah satu factor yang menyebabkannya yaitu kurangnya motivasi mahasiswa dengan budaya menulis. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya peningkatan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam menulis yaitu berupa pelatihan literasi menulis bagi mahasiswa Universitas Ivet. Desain program dirancang sebagai kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Pengabdian tersebut dilakukan oleh tim Dosen dari Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi Universitas Ivet. Kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan dilakukan secara online, yaitu melalui platform Zoom Meeting dan Google Classroom. Tahap pertama adalah pemberian materi dan diskusi, tahap kedua adalah penugasan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah mahasiswa dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilannya dalam menulis karya ilmiah berupa draft proposal skripsi atau laporan hasil tugas akhir/skripsi. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pemahaman peserta pelatihan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pelatihan, serta literasi menulis mahasiswa sudah berkembang dengan baik. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai rata-rata postes yaitu 82 sedangkan nilai rata-rata pretes sebesar 44. Selain itu, persentase peserta pelatihan yang mengumpulkan tugas berupa draft proposal atau laporan tugas akhir/skripsi juga mencapai 89%.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a valid Ethno-STEM-based student worksheet product with a rotating object volume material so that it is suitable for use in learning. Ethno-STEM is an innovation in mathematics learning that combines an ethnomathematical approach with a STEM approach. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4-D development model which is modified to 3-D due to limited research time. The development stages are the defining, design, and development stages. In this research, only a product validation test was conducted. The instrument used is a validation sheet to measure the product feasibility. The result of this study indicates that the developed student worksheet product meets the very feasible criteria with an overall average of 87,11 %. This shows that the product of developing an Ethno-STEM-based student worksheet with a rotating object volume is possible and feasible to use in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) cases in Kudu Village, Genuk District, Semarang City, have increased significantly in recent years. Prevention efforts through the one house one Jumantik (mosquito larvae monitoring officer) program are considered to still have obstacles, especially in terms of data collection and processing which is carried out manually. This community service aims to develop and implement an Android-based E-Jumantik application as an innovative solution in supporting the Jumantik program and supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in the aspect of sustainable health. The methods used in this service include socialization to the community, training on the use of the application for Jumantik cadres, implementation of the application in the field, as well as mentoring and evaluation. The results of the service show that the E-Jumantik application is able to increase efficiency and accuracy in collecting mosquito larvae monitoring data. In addition, this application facilitates the reporting and monitoring process, thus enabling early detection of the potential spread of DHF. From the implementation of this program, there has been an increase in the knowledge and skills of Jumantik cadres in using technology, as well as an increase in public awareness regarding DHF prevention. The E-Jumantik application provides a significant contribution in optimizing the management of mosquito larvae monitoring and is expected to be adopted in other regions as a preventive measure to reduce the number of dengue fever cases

Abstract

Era globalisasi perkembangan teknologi digital semakin meningkat. Media promosi bisa menggunakan aplikasi TikTok dimana aplikasi ini sudah digunakan semua kalangan masyarakat. Tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Universitas IVET berinisiatif memberikan pelatihan strategi live streaming untuk diunggah di TiTok. Permasalahan yang dihadapi karang taruna Desa Sawangan adalah minimnya pengetahuan atau keahlian dikarenakan masih belum adanya terdapat pelatihan ataupun pendampingan dalam proses pembuatan live streaming masih terbatas. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, live streaming sangat bermanfaat bagi karang taruna Desa Sawangan terutama meningkatkan kreatifitas bertujuan untuk peningkatan kemajuan dan menghasilkan video live streaming berkualitas tinggi. Selain itu hasil dari pelatihan ini karang taruna mendapatkan edukasi dan mempraktekkan live streaming, dan mengunggah di aplikasi Tik Tok sebagai media promosi UMKM berupa produk madu dan terasi. Sehingga produk UMKM lebih luas jangkauan pemasarannya sehingga meningktakan penghasilan Masyarakat Desa Sawangan

Abstract

Kemampuan berkomunikasi yang baik merupakan salah satu soft skill yang harus dikuasai di era sekarang ini, tak terkecuali komunikasi dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Guru BK SMK Al Asror Semarang menyampaikan siswa-siswi di SMK ini masih minim mendapatkan trik dan tips saat menjawab wawancara, sehingga seringkali gagal dalam rekrutmen kerja. Metode yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan mitra yang sesuai dengan solusi yang ditawarkan adalah memberikan psikotes, memberikan tips dan trik menjawab pertanyaan dalam wawancara kerja, memberikan latihan soft skill, dan memberikan pengetahuan dalam kesiapan menghadapi dunia kerja. Hasil pelatihan ini memberikan wawasan kepada sekolah untuk meningkatkan kualitas kegiatan serupa di masa depan, memastikan setiap lulusan SMK Al Asror Semarang memiliki kompetensi yang unggul dan siap bersaing di dunia kerja.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan informasi mengalami kemajuan yang sangat pesat dengan ditandai munculnya berbagai alat-alat komunikasi. Usia 5-12 tahun dikatakan sebagai generasi multi-tasking. Peran orang tua yang dapat membimbing serta mengawasi anak dan remaja dalam penggunaan gadget yang baik. Tidak hanya dari peran orang tua dalam mencegah kecanduan gadget, peran guru di sekolah juga berperan penting dalam penggunaan gadget yang baik agar kesehatan mental tidak terganggu akibat penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan. Tujuan kegiatan meliputi bertambahnya pemahaman orang tua siswa tentang generasi di era digital; arti penting peran pendidikan keluarga dalam era digital; bertambahnya pemahaman dan pengetahuan orang tua siswa tentang dampak penggunaan gadget bagi anak-anak dan cara mensiasatinya. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode sosialisasi melalui ceramah, diskusi/tanya jawab, dan demonstrasi/praktek. Peserta Kegiatan adalah ibu-ibu dan orang tua murid TK di Desa Wonosari Kecamatan Patebon Kabupaten Kendal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan pemahaman pendidikan keluarga, pengetahuan orang tua tentang dampak penggunaan gadget bagi anak-anak dan cara mensiasatinya.
