Abstract

Pembelajaran tematik merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang digunakan pada penerapan Kurikulum 2013 di Sekolah Dasar (SD) di Indonesia mulai Kelas I hingga Kelas VI. Pendekatan tematik diyakini dapat membantu siswa belajar karena pada usia SD siswa masih berpikir holistik. Keterkaitan antardisiplin ilmu dalam satu tema memudahkan siswa SD memahami fenomena yang terjadi di sekitarnya. Pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran tematik di SD. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri dalam pembelajaran tematik di SD dan memberikan contoh pelaksanaan inkuiri dalam pembelajaran tematik pada kelas V SD.

Abstract

This aim’s research is to increase motivation and Java’s reading skill at fifthgrade student in Suryowijayan Government Elementary School, Yogyakarta.The research method is class action research. Its subject is all students atfifth grade in Suryowijayan Government Elementary School, Yogyakarta. They are22 students. This research activities are planning, doing, observing, evaluating,reflecting, and conclution decision.From pretest and preobservation, students motivation is low. The readingskill in Java’s font rate value is only 30. In fact, minimum standard value is 55.This research is held by 2 cycles. Reflection of cycle 1 result by media Kocil Aja“Aku Telat” is increasing of motivation and reading skill in Java’s font. Thisincreasing is showed at 68% students who have high attention and spirit to study.Rate value of reading skill is 54. Cycle 2 is held by media Kocil Aja “Ardhi lanDhanar”. The result is increasing of motivation and reading skill in Java’s font.There is 91% students who have high motivation and spirit to study. The ratevalue is also increase, it became 55. This value is passed the standard. Based onthis result, media Kocil Aja can increase the motivation and reading skill in Java’sfont at fifth grade students in Suryowijayan Government Elementary School,Yogyakarta.Keyword: Motivation, reading skill, Kocil Aja

Abstract

As an effort by the Ministry of Education and Culture to improve the quality of human resources, an independent learning policy was made. The quality of Indonesian human resources is still a challenge to solve because the results of surveys from international institutions such as PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) and TIMSS (Trend in International Mathematics and Science Study) still show a protruding ranking. In independent learning there are four main policies, namely (1) freedom of student assessment, (2) national exams replaced by AKM (Minimum Competency Assessment) and character surveys, (3) RPP (Learning Implementation Plan) one sheet, and (4) PPDB system (New Student Admissions) zoning. Therefore, to increase the success of implementing independent learning, it is necessary to have the ability of teachers in the teaching process which results in an independent student learning process. This article uses the literature review method to assess the teacher's abilities. The data collection method uses analysis of data sources obtained from various forms such as journal articles, books, Ministry of Education and Culture policies, and statutory documents. The results of this study indicate that to implement independent learning teachers must master pedagogical skills, skills to adapt teaching styles to student learning styles, skills to master online learning, and skills to master learning strategies. In addition, teachers must also master the principles of independent learning, forms of independent learning, and student learning activities.

Abstract

This  research  examines  the  duties  of  special  education  teachers  in  inclusive schools.  The  research  method  is  a literature review using  articles  related to research titles published in the 2018-2021 period. The first search identified 24 articles, and 10 were evaluated using a thematic data approach. The results of the study show the pedagogic and non-pedagogic functions of special education teachers' tasks. Non-pedagogic tasks include emotional support, consultation and facilitation between teachers, students and parents. Pedagogic tasks include teaching, giving assignment instructions, helping students focus on completing assignments,  making  PPI  (individual  learning  programs),  conducting assessments, and managing student behavior. The research results also show the relevance  of  special  education  teacher  education  and  collaborative  learning between special education teachers and general education teachers. The last section discusses the limitations of the study and further research.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the phases and factors that influence children's socio-emotional development tasks at the age of 6-11 years. This research is a type of literature study research where the sources of information in this research are obtained from various sources such as books, journals and relevant articles. The results of this research show that socio-emotional development is an important aspect in child development. Several factors influence the development of children's socio-emotional tasks at this age, including social interaction, adaptation, compliance with social norms, maturation and learning experiences and relationships with adults around the child. This needs to be considered because social and emotional intelligence is a key element in children's development, including the ability to recognize other people's feelings, interact well, manage emotions and motivate oneself. These are important aspects that help children overcome their developmental tasks and shape their character

Abstract

Currently, teachers must have the skills to create HOTS-based questions because the government, through the revised edition of the 2013 curriculum policy, states that the taxonomy of thinking is taught at all levels of education. The aim of creating HOTS-based questions is to prepare students to have logical, critical and creative thinking qualifications that are able to foster reasoning processes based on the complexity of dynamic changes in society. The process of creating HOTS-based questions is: 1) determining the goal of the questions to be achieved by students, which consists of: a) the ability to search and study information, b) connecting various information relationships, and c) applying information to solve problems, 2) creating questions that are able to develop students' reasoning abilities, which consist of various activities, namely: a) exploring, b) analyzing, c) synthesizing, d) evaluating, e) developing reasoning abilities when obtaining information, and f) critical thinking

Abstract

This research aimed to describe needs of students’ Science learning resources with ecoliteracy  at PGSD STKIP Al Hikmah Surabaya. Students, the majority of whom are young, have great potential to realize a more environmentally friendly Indonesia as stated in the Sustainable Development Goals. Research method that is used in this research was qualitative. Data collected by using questionnaires and interviews. Data analyzed descriptively. Research revealed that PGSD students have middle ecoliteracy . Science learning resource that is needed for students was the Science Education Book with Ecoliteracy . Through the development of Ecoliteracy -based Science Education Books, it is hoped that PGSD students will be able to become students who understand and are aware of environmental issues (ecoliterate), and can design learning activities for elementary students that can instill environmental care characters. The book consisted of information about ecoliteracy  and teaching and learning in elementary school for enhancing students’ ecoliteracy. Abstract

Creativity is one of the characteristics of children's growth and development in the cognitive realm. Creativity is very important to be developed from an early age because this ability is a provision to solve problems in everyday life. One way to improve and develop children's creativity is to play traditional games. This study aims to explore information about stimulating children's creativity through traditional games. Abstract

Scientific literacy is a critical skill in the era of Smart Society 5.0. Recent studies show that 76.9% of students are in the lowest category, the nominal level, in terms of science literacy. This prompted the researchers to examine the effectiveness of the H5P-assisted Differentiated-Independent Learning model in enhancing the scientific literacy of low-ability students. The state of the art in this research is demonstrated through a review of previous studies that explored the implementation of innovative learning models to promote scientific literacy. However, these models either fail to integrate the use of technology with pedagogical approaches or do not specifically address students with low ability. Therefore, the novelty of this study lies in the integration of H5P learning media as a technological resource, alongside a targeted focus on lower ability students as the primary research subjects. This study employed an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design, including a replication class. The study revealed that the H5P-assisted Differentiated-Independent model was effective, as indicated by an average n-gain score of 0.74, which falls within the high category. The paired t-test demonstrated a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores across all classes. Furthermore, the independent t-test indicated a consistent increase in scientific literacy skills in all classes, with 83% of students responding very positively based on the questionnaire. In summary, the H5P-assisted Differentiated-Independent model has a positive impact on enhancing the scientific literacy skills of low-ability students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan multimedia interaktif yang layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran sains di SDIT Luqman Al Hakim Internasional Banguntapan Bantul. Peneltiian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (development research) dengan mengacu pada model yang dikembangkan oleh Borg dan Gall. Penelitian dilakukan dengan langkah: studi pendahuluan, perencanaan, pengembangan draf produk media dan validasi, uji coba individu, uji coba kelompok kecil, uji coba kelompok besar, revisi akhir. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan skor rata-rata validasi materi 4,54 dengan kategori sangat baik dan validasi ahli media 4,13 dengan kategori baik. Berdasarkan Hasil uji coba lapangan awal mendapat skor rata-rata 4,69, uji coba lapangan 4,09, uji pelaksanaan lapangan 4,21. Pada uji coba lapangan termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Dari hasil uji coba tersebut multimedia pembelajaran sains yang dikemas dalam bentuk CD Interaktif layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran sains.
