Abstract

Peneilitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar peserta didik kelas V SD N 3 Sungapan melalui model pembelajaran problem based learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Desain penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis dan McTaggart. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning dapat meningkatkan kemandirian belajar peserta didik. Peningkatan kemandirian belajar peserta didik dapat dilihat dari tes pada siklus 1 sebanyak 13 siswa atau 87,09% telah memenuhi kriteria dan 15 anak (78,9) pada siklus 2.

Abstract

Studi penelitian ini mengeksplorasi tema pemberdayaan pemuda untuk masa depan yang lebih cerah melalui pendidikan, bimbingan, kesempatan kerja, dan dukungan kesehatan mental. Penelitian ini menyoroti tantangan dan kesenjangan dalam kondisi pemberdayaan pemuda saat ini dan mengusulkan strategi untuk mengatasinya. Melalui tinjauan literatur, pengumpulan data, dan analisis yang komprehensif, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi akses yang tidak memadai terhadap pendidikan yang berkualitas, program bimbingan dan pendampingan yang terbatas, tingkat pengangguran kaum muda yang tinggi, dan layanan dukungan kesehatan mental yang tidak memadai sebagai hambatan utama. Temuan penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya akses yang adil terhadap pendidikan berkualitas, pembentukan inisiatif bimbingan dan pendampingan yang komprehensif, menjembatani kesenjangan antara pendidikan dan pekerjaan, dan meningkatkan dukungan kesehatan mental bagi kaum muda. Kolaborasi antara para pemangku kepentingan, termasuk pemerintah, lembaga pendidikan, bisnis, komunitas, dan kaum muda itu sendiri, sangat penting dalam mengimplementasikan strategi-strategi ini. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa dengan mengatasi tantangan-tantangan ini dan menerapkan strategi berbasis bukti, masyarakat dapat memberdayakan individu-individu muda, meningkatkan kemampuan kerja mereka, dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan mereka secara keseluruhan. Rekomendasi yang muncul dari penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan kebijakan dan intervensi yang efektif untuk pemberdayaan kaum muda, membuka jalan bagi masa depan yang lebih cerah dan lebih menjanjikan bagi individu muda dan masyarakat secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

This article examines the management and supervision of Islamic education in West Sumatra within a highly decentralized educational system. It addresses the belief among Indonesians that centralized governance leads to regional unfairness and hinders community involvement. In a decentralized system, local governments have the autonomy to control their own functions, including education, aligning with the goals and needs of their communities. The growth of Islamic education in West Sumatra is a result of this decentralized system. This article using qualitative research methods such as document analysis and interviews and conducted in Padang and Padang Panjang as representative of Muslim regions in West Sumatra. Findings indicate that the planning process is initiated by the mayor, who appoints government institutions like Social Welfare Unit and Education Departments to oversee Islamic education in the region, following a top-down approach.

Abstract

Increasing the number of tourist visits to a destination is an indicator of the success of an effective marketing promotion strategy. The selection of an effective marketing promotion strategy that is in accordance with market trends is an absolute must. One of the effective media in the promotion of destination marketing is to use digital marketing media and sport tourism. Lake Singkarak is one of the villages that makes tourism as one of the sectors driving the economy of its people. Lake Singkarak has considerable potential including cultural tourism, nature tourism and educational tourism. Lake Singkarak has a weakness in terms of marketing promotion, so that the increase in the number of visits is not significant.Community service programs are expected to be the solution. Activities carried out are village tourism workshops, and interesting sport tourism to be able to travel on Lake Singkarak.

Abstract

There is explanatory writing material in class V of elementary school, which prompted this research. Writing explanatory texts based on ideas from experience, imagination, or ideas is a learning objective in Class V. The aim of this research is to provide an overview of explanatory text writing written by students in class V at Bandar Buat Elementary School. The writing is then analyzed using an assessment rubric based on the student's writing assignment sheet. The suitability of the content of the text to the title, accuracy of sentence structure, effectiveness of word/vocabulary choice, effectiveness of sentences, and effectiveness of writing punctuation are some indicators of two aspects of explanatory writing. This research was conducted on three students in class V of Bandar Buat Elementary School. Descriptive analysis and data collection methods were used twice in this research. According to research, only one in three students in class V of Bandar Buat Elementary School has written explanatory text that meets the aspects. Apart from that, only one in three students fulfilled the linguistic aspects in their explanatory text writing.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the abilities of grade 5 students in writing persuasive texts. This research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. This research involved one of the 5th grade elementary school students. The data collection technique in this research is the assignment technique for writing persuasive texts. The data collected shows that students are quite capable of writing persuasive texts well, seen from the aspect of text structure and linguistic rules of persuasive texts that students have written, but there are still some difficulties experienced by students in writing persuasive texts so they need guidance and direction from the teacher. to overcome errors so that students can improve their abilities in writing persuasive texts.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors that cause initial reading difficulties in second grade elementary school students and the solutions that can be provided. The approach used in this research is qualitative with descriptive methods. The subjects of this research were second grade elementary school students. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. Analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. Based on the research results, the factors causing the difficulties students experience in reading are a lack of guidance and concern from parents, a lack of reading learning activities at home and at school, and a lack of interest in learning within the students themselves.

Abstract

Tingkat literasi kesehatan reproduksi di kalangan remaja di Kecamatan Tapan masih rendah, didorong oleh tabu sosial dan kurangnya integrasi dalam kurikulum sekolah. Selain itu, terdapat keterbatasan media edukasi yang menarik dan kurangnya kerjasama antara sekolah dan praktisi kesehatan, serta keterbatasan wadah diskusi terstruktur yang menghambat pemahaman mendalam mengenai isu kesehatan reproduksi. Solusi dari permasalah yang dialami oleh remaja di Kecamatan Tapan adalah dengan membuat kegiatan komprehensif yang mampu meningkatkan literasi remaja dengan memanfaatkan akses informasi dan teknologi. Tujuan Pengabdian kepada Masyrakat (PKM) ini untuk meningkatkan literasi remaja dengan memanfaatkan akses informasi dan teknologi tentang kesehatan reproduksi. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan dalam menunjang realisasi kegiatan PKM ini adalah metode sosialisasi dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dengan mengintegrasikan kemajuan teknologi. Kegiatan PKM ini dilakukan dengan beberapa tahap yaitu kegiatan FGD di sekolah bersama mitra dengan hasil dalam kurikulum di SMAN 1 Basa Ampek Balai perlu ditambahkan adanya program seperti sosialisasi atau advokasi kesehatan reproduksi minimal dilakukan satu kali dalam dua semester. Tahap kedua, kegiatan sosialisasi kespro dengan mitra bidan desa dapat diketahui siswa belum memiliki pengetahuan yang baik mengenai kesehatan reproduksi. Tahap selanjutnya sosialisasi kespro dengan media E-booklet serta mengadakan games dengan topik kesehatan reproduksi. Dengan demikian kegiatan PKM ini sebagai wadah bagi remaja untuk mengenal kesehatan reproduksi dan dapat memahami bahwa kesehatan reproduksi bukan suatu hal yang tabu untuk dibicarakan.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop integrative thematic learning materials based on the surrounding environment and evaluate their effectiveness in improving students' environmental awareness and learning autonomy. Utilizing the Borg & Gall development model, the research followed a systematic process including interviews, observations, and surveys. Validation by curriculum and subject matter experts rated the developed materials as highly suitable. The materials were implemented and assessed through limited and operational trials with elementary school students. Findings indicated significant improvements in both environmental awareness and learning autonomy, supported by paired sample t-test results showing a significance level of 0.000. Key components of the developed materials included contextually relevant syllabi, lesson plans, instructional content, and student worksheets that integrated the surrounding environment as a learning medium. These materials facilitated experiential learning, encouraging direct interaction with real-world environmental challenges. This approach not only fostered positive attitudes toward environmental care but also promoted independent learning, enhancing students' ability to manage and evaluate their own learning processes.Keywords: thematic learning, environmental integration, environmental awareness, learning autonomy, instructional materials development

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of students in learning Pancasila Education using a game-based learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research is carried out in two cycles, each cycle involves four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The subject of the study is class IV students totaling 27 students. Data collection was carried out through tests, observations, and interviews. The results of the study showed that the increase was evidenced by the results in the aspect of the teaching module in the first cycle with an average of 83.33% (B) and increased in the second cycle with an average of 91.67% (A). In the aspect of teacher activity in the first cycle with an average of 82.82% (B) and increased in the second cycle with an average of 93.75% (A). In the aspect of student activity in the first cycle with an average of 81.25% (B) and increased in the second cycle with an average of 90.63% (A). As well as in the learning outcomes of students in the first cycle with an average of 78.4 (C) and increased in the second cycle with an average of 90.43 (A). Based on this data, it can be concluded that using the game-based learning model can improve the learning outcomes of grade IV students of SDN 16 Padang Magek, Tanah Datar Regency.
