Abstract

Abstract: The aim of research is to determine the effect of learning models on learning achievement viewed from students independence learning. The type of the research is a quasi-experimental. The population are the seventh grade students of junior high school at Surakarta. The sample are 268 students. Sampling is done by stratified cluster random sampling. Instruments which are used to collect data are achievement tests and questionnaire of students independence learning. Hypothesis test is two-way analysis of variance with unbalanced cells. The results of this research are as follows: 1) the TPS-GNT learning model gives better learning achievement than TPS and direct learning model, and TPS learning model gives better learning achievement than direct learning model. 2)  the students with high independence learning have better learning achievement than students with medium and low independence learning, and the students with medium independence learning have better learning achievement than students with low independence learning. 3) in each  learning model, the students with high, medium and low independence learning have the same learning achievement. 4) in the high independence learning, students with TPS-GNT, TPS and direct learning model have the same learning achievement, but in the medium and low independence learning, students with TPS-GNT learning model have better learning achievement than students with direct model, students with TPS-GNT and TPS learning model have the same learning achievement and students with TPS and direct learning model have the same learning achievement.Keywords: Think Pair Share (TPS), Guided Note Taking  (GNT), Independence Learning

Abstract

ABSTRACTBased on data from SKKRI (Indonesian Adolescent Reproductive Health Survey) teenagers claimed to have supports who had prenuptial sexual intercourse aged 14-19 years (women 34.7%, men 30.9%) 24-19 years old (female 48.6%, male 465%). The persistence of this study was to find out the relationship of knowledge, the role of mass media and the role of family with prenuptial sex behavior in students of grade XI SMK Muhammadiyah Lebaksiu. This study used cross sectional method with the purpose of significant the liaison of independent variables and dependents, data composed by using questionnaires. The number of samples was 133 grade XI students at SMK Muhammadiyah Lebaksiu. Results of the study students who had had prenuptial sex as many as 106 respondents (79.7%) and students who had never had prenuptial sex as many as 27 respondents (20.3%). Statistical  results presented that there is a liaison between mass media (p.value = 0.013) and the family (p.value = 0.020) with prenuptial sex behavior. From the results of this research, it is expected that educational institutions provide information related to the knowledge and impact of prenuptial sex behavior and for students are expected to use their communication media more wisely and to always be open with their parents.ABSTRAKBerdasarkan data Survey Kesehatan Reproduksi Remaja Indonesia remaja mengakui memiliki teman yang sudah pernah melakukan hubungan seksual pranikah usia 14-19 tahun (laki-laki 30,9%, perempuan 34,7%,) usia 24-29 tahun (laki-laki 465%, perempuan 48,6%,). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan, peran media massa dan peran keluarga dengan perilaku seks pranikah pada siswa-siswi kelas XI SMK Muhammadiyah Lebaksiu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode cross sectional dengan tujuan mengetahui hubungan variabel independen dan dependen, data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner. Sampel  sebanyak 133 siswa kelas XI di SMK Muhammadiyah Lebaksiu. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh diperoleh hasil siswa yang yang sudah pernah melakukan seks pranikah sebanyak 106 responden (79,7%) dan siswa yang belum pernah melakukan seks pranikah sebanyak 27 responden (20,3%). Dari hasil  uji statistik didapatkan hasil yang menunjukan terdapat hubungan antara peran media massa (p.value = 0,013) dan peran keluarga (p.value = 0,020) dengan perilaku seks pranikah. Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan institusi pendidikan memberikan informasi terkait pengetahuan dan dampak dari perilaku seks pranikah serta bagi siswa-siswi diharapkan untuk menggunakan media komunikasinya lebih bijak dan agar selalu terbuka dengan orang tuanya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dengan menggunakan media cake untuk meningkatkan student agency siswa SMA Negeri 2 Probolinggo. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dengan menggunakan media cake ini merupakan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi konten dan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi proses. Pada pembelajaran ini siswa diberi kebebasan untuk memilih media yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajarannya. Media cake ini merupakan dua media yang bisa digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Media cake ini adalah media permainan kreasi engklek dan Media Canva. Aktivitas belajar tentang persebaran flora dan fauna siswa kelas XI E SMAN 2 Probolinggo meningkat setelah melalui pembelajaran berdiferensiasi konten dan proses dengan menggunakan media cake. Peningkatan aktivitas tersebut disebabkan oleh adanya pengondisian dan penyesuaian pembelajaran dengan kebutuhan siswa yang berkaitan dengan topik materi persebaran flora dan fauna yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan kebiasaan serta gaya belajar yang dilakukan oleh siswa. Terjadinya peningkatan tersebut disebabkan oleh munculnya motivasi dan minat siswa yang dibangun melalui metode pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan menggunakan media cake. Faktor tingginya minat dan motivasi siswa mendorong tingginya aktivitas belajar sehingga menunjang tercapainya hasil belajar yang lebih baik dan meningkatnya student agency siswa.

Abstract

Background: Basic non-military flight nurse training is essential for enhancing nurses’ competency in conducting aeromedical evacuations. Trained nurses possessing flight nurse proficiency are indispensable for ensuring stable patient conditions amidst the unique physical, physiological, and psychological challenges encountered during flights. Objective: This study aimed to describe the experiences and perceptions of nurses and air ambulance service providers regarding aeromedical evacuations. Methods: This study employed a qualitative descriptive design. Data were gathered from February to July 2023 through semi-structured online interviews with seven nurses and air ambulance service providers engaged in aeromedical evacuation. Content analysis was utilized to interpret the interview data. Results: Seven themes were generated: 1) Experiences in aeromedical evacuation experiences, 2) Challenges faced by nurses and air ambulance service providers during aeromedical evacuations, 3) Essential knowledge for nurses involved in aeromedical evacuations, 4) Efforts to improve nurses’ knowledge and skills, 5) Leveling of flight nurse training, 6) Flight nurse training methods, and 7) Flight nurse training evaluation strategies. Conclusion: Nurses and air ambulance service providers acknowledge the significant influence of the flight environment on changes in patient conditions during aeromedical evacuations. To effectively manage alterations in patient conditions during flights, healthcare workers equipped with aviation health competency are imperative. One approach to enhancing the competency of healthcare workers is through flight nurse training. The findings from this study serve as a valuable resource for policymakers and health-related institutions endeavoring to formulate aeromedical evacuation strategies.

Abstract

Lontar Barang Antik merupakan suatu pembelajaran yang memadukan modifikasi permainan tradisional engklek menjadi loncat pintar dengan penggunaan aplikasi Smartphone Toontastic. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Lontar Barang Antik terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar geografi peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan eksperimen semu (quasi experimental design) dengan desain penelitian non randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 2 Probolinggo. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji beda melalui independent sample t-test yang dilakukan dengan bantuan SPSS 16 For Windows. Hasil uji statistik dengan uji beda (t-test) menunjukkan model pembelajaran Lontar Barang Antik berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar geografi peserta didik. Model pembelajaran Lontar Barang Antik bisa memfasilitasi semua gaya belajar yang dimiliki peserta didik. Peserta didik lebih aktif dan motivasi belajar menjadi lebih tinggi. Optimalisasi gaya belajar melalui model pembelajaran Lontar Barang antik dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar geografi.

Abstract

Background: Surveys on patient safety in dialysis units uncover a range of significant patient safety issues. Hemodialysis centers are particularly vulnerable to adverse events due to a number of risk factors, such as machine malfunctions, excessive blood loss, patient falls, prescription errors, and inadequate infection control procedures. Aim: Analyze the problem of implementing patient safety goals and describe the patients' satisfaction with the implementation of patient safety goals. Methods: This study employs a concurrent embedded methodology with a mixed-methods design, utilizing quantitative data to complement the qualitative data. Applying the focus group discussion (FGD) technique, questionnaires and observations of hemodialysis patients' satisfaction with implementing patient safety goals were utilized to complete the data collection. Results: According to the patient satisfaction survey, two patients were worried that their dialyzer tubes had been mixed up, earning a negative score of 5.13%. 23.07% of patients had negative results on the infection prevention risk questionnaire; 3 patients (7.69%) only seldom cleaned their hands before starting dialysis, and 6 patients (15.38%) did not. Conclusion: The implementation of patients' identification and the reduction of infection risk through hand hygiene have not been carried out consistently, concerning patient safety goals in the hemodialysis unit. Abstract

Proportional Reasoning is a complex mathematical way of thinking about interconnected ideas such as multiplication and division of whole numbers, fractions, ratios, powers, measurements, and percent. This research aims to identify students' thinking processes in solving decimal problems that require proportional reasoning. This research was conducted on 5th grade elementary school students in Klaten, Central Java, Indonesia, using test instruments, interviews and documentation studies. The test given consists of five types of questions, namely tests on questions that require students to use additive, multiplicative thinking skills, use reasonable or appropriate ratios, build unit structures (groupings), and understand invariants. The research results found that the proportional reasoning indicator that was more dominantly used by students was the ability to think multiplicatively, while the sub-indicators were writing and completing calculations but the final results were not correct. Apart from that, other findings explain that the low ability is due to the prerequisite material not being mastered, students not understanding the questions, and students not understanding the concept of the topic. Thus, these results confirm that proportional reasoning abilities in grade 5 elementary school are still quite low.

Abstract

Diare merupakan defekasi encer yang terjadi lebih dari tiga kali dalam 24 jam. Pendidikan kesehatan adalah kegiatan pembelajaran yang dibangun secara sadar dan mencakup berbagai bentuk komunikasi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tentang kesehatan. Hand hygiene adalah tindakan membersihkan tangan mengunakan sabun dan air mengalir atau dengan hand sanitizer. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hasil implementasi pendidikan kesehatan hand hygiene dalam upaya pencegahan diare pada anak usia pra sekolah di PAUD Kuntum Mekar. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus deskriptif. Subjek dalam kasus ini sebanyak 4 orang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi yang terdiri dari 10 pernyataan tentang langkah-langkah cuci tangan yang baik dan benar. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan sebanyak 2 hari pengambilan data sebelum dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan hand hygiene didapatkan skor rata-rata 4,5 dengan kategori kurang baik dan sesudah dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan hand hygiene didapatkan skor rata-rata 7 dengan kategori baik, skor rata-rata perbandingan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan hand hygiene adalah 4,5 : 7 dengan mengalami peningkatan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah implementasi pendidikan kesehatan hand hygiene mampu meningkatkan keterampilan mencuci tangan dalam upaya pencegahan diare pada anak usia pra sekolah di PAUD Kuntum Mekar.   Diarrhea is watery defecation that occurs more than three times in 24 hours. Health education is a learning activity that is built consciously and includes various forms of communication to increase understanding about health. Hand hygiene is the act of cleaning your hands using soap and running water or with a hand sanitizer. The aim of this research is to determine the results of the implementation of hand hygiene health education in efforts to prevent diarrhea in pre-school children at PAUD Kuntum Mekar. This type of research uses descriptive case studies. The subjects in this case were 4 people according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The instrument used was an observation sheet consisting of 10 statements regarding the steps for good and correct hand washing. The results of research carried out for 2 days of data collection before the hand hygiene health education was carried out obtained an average score of 4.5 in the poor category and after the hand hygiene health education was carried out an average score of 7 was carried out in the good category, the average score is a comparison before and after hand hygiene health education was 4.5: 7 with an increase. The conclusion of this research is that the implementation of hand hygiene health education is able to improve hand washing skills in an effort to prevent diarrhea in pre-school children at PAUD Kuntum Mekar.

Abstract

Background. Promotion is the most important part of an organization to inform a product that is produced. The challenge is that special libraries need to promote services and collections so that users can also take advantage of during the Pandemic. The purpose of this research is to find out the promotion, strategy, and innovation used by UPT Bung Karno Library during the pandemic in improving its services.Methodology. This study uses qualitative methods. This study obtained data through interviews, observation, and documentation from informants who were taken by purposive sampling, then analysed them using descriptive analysis techniques.Results and discussion. The study can be seen that the UPT Bung Karno Proclaimer Library conducts promotions using social media, brochures, exhibitions, and socialization. In addition, the strategy used by Bung Karno's proclaimer UPT Library in promoting the library to the public focused more on Bung Karno's ideas and thoughts. How to improve services at the UPT Bung Karno Proclaimer Library by creating the "SILAKAN" program and creating the "ISU Karno" application which is used to access collections at the UPT Bung Karno Proclaimer Library.Conclusions. The Bung Karno Proclamator Library UPT has been working on promotions, strategies and innovations to improve its services during the pandemic, and carried out agitation so that it is hoped that more people will visit the library.
