Dibalik Maraknya Penggunaan Software Open Source Berbasis Web di Perpustakaan Perguruan Tinggi di Bali I Putu Suhartika; Ketut Darmana

This study focuses on the opinion of developers and users of the system consisting of head of library , librarians, and students about the use of open source software in the Library of Higher Education in Bali. It is hoped that various reasons can be expressed regarding the implementation of the system. This research is a qualitative research using a critical approach.The results showed that 83% of State University Libraries and some private universities in Bali use open source SLiMS software for library management. SLiMS was originally developed to replace the Library software of the Ministry of National Education, but then the software was distributed to the community for free. The use of SLiMS in the library undergoes several stages which are not understood by the initial user of the system. Therefore, the head of the library spent substantial funds for software procurement and staff knowledge improvement. The user's expectation that the software is completely free becomes unrealized. In its development, this software needs to customize, and for that, users interact with program developers. They issue guidelines that users must follow. This interaction creates a continuous relationship between developers and users of the system to form the relationship between knowledge and power. In addition, the practice of hegemony has already occurred in the use of such software. This hegemony process ends when the system user has sufficient ability to handle the system.

Web perpustakaan Universitas Udayana berfungsi sebagai media informasi, penyedia koleksi digital, promosi perpustkaan serta bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan daya saing global. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari kualitas Web Perpustakaan Universitas Udayana terhadap kepuasan pengguna. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif dan untuk pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik survey berbasis kuesioner. Survey menggunakan kuesioner yang disebar ke 100 orang berdasarkan perhitungan menggunakan rumus slovin. Responden merupakan mahasiswa yang pernah mengakses web Perpustakaan Universitas Udayana. Kuesioner dibuat berdasarkan konsep dari WebQual 4.0 dengan tiga kategori pengukuran meliputi usability, kualitas informasi serta kualitas interaksi. Dari ketiga kategori tersebut akan dipecah menjadi 20 butir pertanyaan yang akan menjadi pegangan peneliti untuk melakukan survey. Data yang dikumpulkkan diolah dan dianalisis dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan yang didapat maka variabl Information quality, Interaction quality dan usability memilki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengguna. Indikator dari variabel usability yaitu penambahan pengetahuan dari web perpustakaan memiliki nilai paling tinggi yaitu sebesar 83%. Prioritas peningkatan dan perbaikan yaitu pada indikator tampilan web perpustakaan dengan nilai sebesar 54%. Sehingga perlu dilakukan peningkatan pada sisi tampilan web Perpustakaan Universitas Udayana karena indikator tersebut memiliki nilai paling kecil dan berpengaruh pada kepuasan pengguna.

Good archive management is very important to maintain the track record of a document. Medical record archiving aims to maintain and protect patient track record documents. This paper examines the factors that cause damage to medical record archives and how the archive preservation process in medical records is carried out at the Klungkung Regional General Hospital. The method in this research is a case study with a qualitative approach. Case study research was conducted to explore the case in Klungkung Hospital more deeply and describe the results of the study. The data obtained in this study were obtained through field observations and interviews at the Klungkung Hospital. Informants in this study included the head of the medical record section and the outpatient medical record department at Klungkung Hospital. The results of this study indicate that the factors that cause damage and loss to medical record archives are AC leaks, archive security and archive use. Meanwhile, the results of research observations indicate that archive preservation activities are guided by the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of Klungkung Hospital. SOPs carried out include physical protection of archives from room temperature, pests and dust as well as archive maintenance carried out such as medical record securityPengelolaan arsip yang baik sangat penting dilakukan untuk menjaga rekam jejak suatu dokumen. Pengarsipan rekam medis bertujuan untuk menjaga dan melindungi dokumen track record pasien. Paper ini meneliti faktor yang menyebabkan kerusakan pada arsip rekam medis dan bagaimana proses preservasi arsip pada rekam medis yang dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Klungkung. Metode pada penelitian ini yaitu studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian studi kasus dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi kasus di RSUD Klungkung lebih mendalam dan menjabarkan hasil dari penelitian. Data yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini didapatkan melalui observasi lapangan serta wawancara di RSUD Klungkung. Informan pada penelitian ini meliputi kepala bagian rekam medis dan bagian urusan rekam medis rawat jalan RSUD Klungkung. Hasil dari penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa faktor yang mengakibatkan kerusakan dan kehilangan pada arsip rekam medis yaitu kebocoran AC, keamanan arsip dan penggunaan arsip. Sementara dari hasil observasi penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pelestarian arsip berpedoman pada Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) RSUD Klungkung. SOP yang dilakukan meliputi perlindungan fisik arsip dari suhu ruangan, hama dan debu serta perawatan arsip yang dilakukan seperti keamanan rekam medis.

This study aims to determine the productivity of lecturers at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Udayana University in a span of 10 years (2012–2021). The research method used is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The results of this study proved that from 54 lecturers, 40 lecturers were found to have lecturer profile accounts on the Google Scholar website with a total publication of 940 journal articles. Lecturer productivity based on Lotka's Law gets an exponent value (n) 0.0050 with a value (C) 0.0350. This shows that the percentage of lecturers who contribute 2 articles to the lecturer profile on google scholar is on the observation results of 5%, while in the calculation of Lotka's theoretical value is 3.59%. After conducting the Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test, it was found that Dmax was greater than the critical value (0.8834 > 0.2150). Based on these results, it was found that there was a significant difference between the theoretical value of Lotka Law and the results of observations in journals indexed by google scholar in the FISIP lecturer profile for 2012–2021.

The process of library collection development encompasses several crucial tasks, including identification, selection, acquisition, processing, and distribution of collections to the public. This study endeavors to develop a library collection procurement application focusing on two primary functionalities: selection and procurement. The system accommodates stakeholders, including publishers, librarian profiles, system masters, and other users, while adhering to specific user and system requirements. The design methodology employed in this study leverages the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The development process follows the waterfall method, encompassing stages such as requirements analysis, design, implementation, verification, and maintenance. The resulting application features an intuitive interface for collection procurement, incorporating essential components such as login mechanisms, a comprehensive book collection database, catalog data management, procurement selection tools, recommendation algorithms, catalog selection options, and access to selected catalog data. Employing the CodeIgniter (CI) framework, the system facilitates data filtration and selection processes based on publication year, price, and language criteria. Rigorous system testing, conducted through black box testing methods, confirms the functionality and reliability of the application. This research contributes to addressing the needs of libraries lacking robust collection procurement systems, offering a sophisticated solution to streamline and automate traditionally manual processes.

This study aims to examine the role of the Badung Regency Archives and Libraries Office in the preservation of ancient lontar manuscripts. This institution has an important responsibility in safeguarding and maintaining this priceless cultural heritage. This study uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are observation to the library, conducting interviews, documentation and literature study. This study analyzes the policies, programs and practices carried out by these institutions. The results of this study indicate that the Badung Regency Archives and Libraries Service has a significant role in the preservation of ancient lontar manuscripts.

This study aims to determine the effect of student digital literacy mastery on the use of the INSTKI ELibrary. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method approach. Quantitative is a process to find knowledge by using data in the form of numbers as a tool to find information. Research data obtained from primary data and secondary data. Data analysis techniques in this study used validity tests, reliability tests, descriptive data analysis and simple linear regression analysis using SPSS (Statistical Package Social Science) software. The results of this study state that there is a significant influence between Student Digital Literacy Mastery on the Utilization of the INSTKI E-Library.

This study focuses on the development of a web-based application system related to the functional positions of librarians in Bali. This web-based application is designed as a one-stop service to provide essential functional position information for librarians. The primary research question asked is how to design and construct a web-based librarian application system in Bali. The objective of this study is to design, develop, and evaluate a system that supports librarians in managing their activities and credit scores. The development method used is the linear sequential (waterfall) method, which includes the stages of analysis, design, coding, implementation, testing, and maintenance. This system features a user interface with functions such as Home, Activity Details, Forms, and a List of Librarians, enabling librarians to manage various activities organized into categories of Expert Librarians and Skilled Librarians. Each activity comprises a menu for librarian type, education, library management, services, librarian system development, professional development, and task support, which are further broken down into sub-activities according to their categories. Application testing was carried out using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that all functions operated according to user needs. This system was implemented as a web-based application using PHP and MySQL databases, allowing librarians to access it online. The implementation results show that this application has run well and is able to meet the needs of librarians in managing their functional positions efficiently, simplifying the credit score submission process, and enhancing accuracy and efficiency in reporting.

Introduction. This research focuses on the digital literacy of public university librarians in Bali. Digital literacy skills are really needed by librarians to improve the quality of services, especially in the development of information technology. Data Collection Methods. The method in this research is descriptive quantitative. The population and sample used in this research were all 61 State University Librarians in Bali. The sampling technique used was total sampling. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, observations and interviews Data Analysis. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis using the Statistical Package of Social Science (SPSS) version 25 program. Results and Discussion. The research results show that the digital literacy of state university librarians in Bali is quite good. However, librarians need to improve their abilities in terms of creating the latest news and understanding contained in websites or library sites. Conclusion. Digital literacy has an influence on the competence of state university librarians in Bali. In this regard, librarians need to actively participate in training and seminars on digital literacy and be open to developing information technology. The implication of this research for the library sector is to help librarians evaluate the quality of digital literacy in higher education.

Research on bibliometric analysis in determining writer productivity has been widely carried out. However, this research is about joint work or collaboration among the authors, either as first author or as members (second, third author, and so on). Bibliometric analysis in this research is used only to analyze the productivity of the first author in individual and collaborative work in national journals indexed by SINTA 1, 2, and Scopus. This research uses quantitative methods based on bibliometric studies. Data processing uses documentation and literature studies, namely by collecting all the writings of Udayana University lecturers as first or sole authors within 10 years from 2013 to 2022, which are indexed by SINTA 1, 2, and Scopus. All of this data is processed and analyzed using Lotka Laws, one of the bibliometric studies used to measure author productivity. With this analysis, it is hoped that the productivity of Udayana University lecturers with publications indexed by SINTA 1, 2, and Scopus can be known. The research results show that the productivity of Udayana University lecturers as first authors in SINTA 1, SINTA 2, and Scopus-indexed journals is still low. In addition, the distribution of observation results shows that Dmax is greater than the critical value, so there is a significant difference between the distribution of observation results and the theoretical distribution of Lotka's Law. Therefore, the Udayana University lecturer article dataset does not follow Lotka's Law. This research can be used as material for making policy related to publications by Udayana University lecturers in reputable national and international journals
