Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim ofthis study is to determine. the application of library automation systems in processing library materials in the public library of the Library and Archives Office at Jembrana Regency using descriptive research methods with a qualitative approach. Sources.of data in this study are textbooks, journals, research.results, field observations.and interviews. Informants in this study are three informans, the head of the library, librarians and library users. The results of this.study indicated that the existence of a library automation system was very helpful for librarians in the public library of the Department of Library and Archives at Jembrana Regency in processing library materials and was also able to assist library users in information retrieval. In processing public library materials, the Department of Library and Archives Office of Jembrana Regency was quite optimal. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the extent of service quality of library users if measured by the ServQual method at the City Library and Archives Office in Denpasar. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. This research is located in the City Library and Archives Office of Denpasar. The population of this study was 12,263 people and the number of samples was 100 people, calculated using the Slovin formula. The results of this study were tested by hypothesis testing with sig. t count ? alpha (? = 0.05), can be known reliability (reliability) and empathy (emphaty) influence and significant effect on user satisfaction, while with sig. t arithmetic ? alpha (? = 0.05), can be known physical evidence or form (tangibles), responsiveness (responsiveness), assurance (assurance) there is no influence and not significant to user satisfaction in the Department of Library and Archives of Denpasar. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the availability of fiction book to library visit at Dinas Perpustakaan and Kearsipan kota Denpasar. This study uses descriptive quantitative methods. The variable of this research are the availability of a collection of fiction books and library visit. The population of this study was 565 people. The sample from this study was determined using the Slovin formula, obtained by 85 respondents. The results of the study show that the most frequently borrowed library collection is the collection of fiction with a score of 3.51 which is satisfactory. Respodent answered that the number of collections of fiction in the library was adequate with a score of 3.32 which was satisfactory. The comfort aspect of with a score of 3.42 which is satisfying. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership style on library promotion in the Bali Provincial Archives and Library Service. This study uses descriptive methods and quantitative approaches. Data collection techniques using questionnaire and literature study methods with sampling techniques using nonprobability sampling as many as 87 respondents. Data processing techniques use computational calculations SPSS version 25. The results showed that the leadership style applied in the Archives and Library Service of Bali Province had an effect on promotional activities. Regression analysis results obtained Y = 0.737 + 0.729X From the regression equation above, it can be seen that the magnitude of X1 is 0.729 with a significance level of 0.000 and the amount of R square is 0.537. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was aimed to find out the relation of library facilities toward the visitors' excitment at Dinas Kearsipan and Perpustakaan Provinsi Bali in 2019. This study was a causative quantitative. The variable of this study was the influence of facilities(X) and the visitor’s excitment(Y). Based on the result of questioner showed that library facilities have a significant effect on the number of the visitor. The result showed 68% of responded agreed that the conditions of the facilities such as table and chairs functioned well, 54% of the responded said that the reason of visiting was to complete the task. Based on the Visitors' reason can be said that the book collection in the library was adequate and relevant. the availability of a diverse Book collection affects the visitor excitment in visiting the library. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose study is provide information for the readers regarding the preservation process of rare collections in the Republic of Indonesia National Library. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The results of this study indicate that preservation of rare collections in the Republic of Indonesia National Library applies conservation that is in accordance with existing SOPs. Factors of rare collection damage in the Republic of Indonesia National Library due to environmental, human, biota and collection factors themselves. Preservation of rare collections carried out before damage occurs is to do maintenance for 3 months and once a year. Preservation of rare collections after damage has some stages. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze human resource management at the STIKI Indonesia Library by using SWOT Analysis. The object of this research is HR management at the STIKI Library. This research is desc.riptive with a qualitativapproch. The techniqu of datacollection is done by interview,observation, documentation,andliteraturestudies. The results conducted by the authors indicate that HR management at the STIKI Indonesia Library is still not optimally done. It can be seen from the application of management functions that in terms of planning the library is only made based on the needs of the library. In managing existing human resources, the library has not fully implemented management functions, namely in terms of planning. In addition, the management functions are not based on the theories of management science, but are based on the needs and experiences in the library. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is aimed to aims to determine the use of Search Engines in the internet service at Perpustakaan Universitas Warmadewa. The type of research that the researcher uses is quantitative descriptive. This research was located in Perpustakaan Pusat Universitas Warmadewa. The sample in this study was calculated of 87 samples. Using the sampling technique is purposive sampling. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires. This study uses one independent variable, namely the Search Engine and one dependent variable, namely Internet Services. The data analysis technique that the researchers used in this study was simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study were tested by hypothesis testing with sig. t count ? alpha (? = 0.05), it can be concluded that the use of Search Engines has been well seen from users using Boolean operator search techniques when searching to find relevant information. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to explain and analyze the influence of Electronic Journal users perception on attitudes and the use of Electronic Journal. This research is located in the Central Library of Warmadewa University. The data collection technique used in the form of a questionnaire using 2 independent variables: Percevied Easy of Use and Percevied Usefulness, also using two dependent variables: Attitude Towad Using and Actual Usage. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis and test the results of the study using an application called SPSS Version 25. The results of the study were tested by hypothesis testing with sig. t count ? alpha (? = 0.05), it can be concluded that electronic journals have been useful for students using library at the Warmadewa University Central Library. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to find out the role of public libraries in increasing reading interest in the Bali Provincial Archives and Library Service in 2019 by using quantitative descriptive research methods. The data are through questionnaires. Total population is 1,697 users and the number of samples is 94 users. The research used sampling method as the sampling technique. The results of this research indicate that the reason for visiting the Bali Provincial Archives and Library Service is to increase knowledge, this is related to collections in the library that are adequate and relevant according to user needs. In addition, the information contained in the library helps users to be more active in reading. The conclusion of this study is that public libraries have a very important role in increasing reading interest. Keywords: library role, reading interest, collection
