Abstract

Marine beef is a meat product that has been fat dissolved so that the protein is a major part of the product. Marine beef dry form solid and hydrophilic, has a different performance from the base ingredients, but still contains nutrients according to the characteristics of the original. Weakness marine beef products is shaped in the form of flour so it does not allow for direct consumption. Suweg addition of flour mixture and emulsifier in the manufacturing process can serve as a regulator of the water content, hardness and adhesion to produce a final product that is more compact and high taste. This study aims to determine how optimal levels suweg flour and Na-CMC can be added to marine beef in order to obtain dry products based marine beef with the physical properties, the speed of rehydration and sensory properties that aroma, flavor and texture is good and acceptable to consumers. Treatment of dry meatballs are rich in protein from marine beef with the addition of flour suweg 15% and 1% Na-CMC is the best treatment with the shortest rehidrated pace with time 130 seconds at a temperature of boiling water and the scent of the most preferred by the panelists organoleptic test.Key word: marine beef, protein rich meatballs, suweg, Na-CMC

Abstract

The unpleasant smell of dung fly everywhere, dirt strewn everywhere be a factor for the emergence of social conflict surrounding of cow breeding. Biogas digester in the form of a closed tube can be used for cow dung that is no longer scattered and the scent is not pleasant been isolated. Not only that bio-gas produced can be used together with the communities around the farm, which in turn not only relieve social turmoil but rather strengthen the social fabric. Now they jointly maintain and care for the sake of expediency digester together. Bio-gas digester constructed is fixed dome models (fixed dome) with capacities of 10 m3 of manure. It means being able to accommodate dirt 10-15 cow. After 60 days of curing in the tube digester, biogas digester turns is able to produce enough gas used for cooking purposes 15 families around the farm together.Keywords: digester, biogas, cow breeding, social conflict

Abstract

Karena meningkatnya permintaan konsumsi ikan nila, masyarakat Indonesia sangat membutuhkan perusahaan peternakan. Saat membudidayakan nila, perhatian harus diberikan pada kualitas air (pH, suhu, kekeruhan air, salinitas dan oksigen terlarut (DO)) dan pemberian pakan buatan secara statis. Ini menciptakan kolam ikan yang mengontrol kualitas air berdasarkan pH, suhu, dan kekeruhan air, dan secara otomatis memberi makan berdasarkan waktu. Penelitian ini menggunakan sensor pH untuk mendeteksi nilai pH, sensor suhu untuk mengukur nilai suhu, sensor kekeruhan untuk mengukur nilai NTU (NepHelometric Turbidity Unit), sensor ultrasonik untuk mengukur ketinggian air pada kolam ikan, dan motor servo sebagai penggerak makan otomatis. Memperhatikan hasil kerja seluruh alat dalam mendapatkan hasil kontrol pada kolam ikan yang bekerja secara berurutan, pembacaan sensor pH memberikan pembacaan nilai benar 97,5%, sensor kekeruhan memberikan pembacaan nilai sebenarnya 83,39%, nilai sebenarnya yang diberikan ultrasound adalah 99,46 %. Berdasarkan data yang diterima, alat dapat berfungsi dengan baik, sesuai dengan desain yang dibuat. Menurut hasil penelitian ini pengabdian kepada masyarakat dapat diterapkan, khususnya petani ikan nila tanpa perkebunan besar dapat menggunakan ember terpal yang relatif kecil untuk meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat.

Abstract

Cara budidaya ikan yang baik adalah dengan memelihara, membesarkan, memanen dan memasarkan hasilnya dengan optimal. Budidaya dalam lingkungan yang terkontrol shg memberikan jaminan keamanan pangan dari pembudidayaan dengan memperhatikan sanitasi, obat ikan,pakan dan bahan kimia serta luas kolam. Pelatihan budidaya ikan yang baik bertujuan agar masyarakat pembudidaya ikan di Desa Tebel Gedangan Sidoarjo dapat memanajemeni budidaya ikan dengan baik, khususnya budidaya ikan gurami dan Patin dengan cara terkontrol dengan memperhatikan hasil yang seoptimal mungkin. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan,   penyuluhan dan praktek langsung. Pelatihan penyuluhan tentang cara budidaya ikan gurami dan Patin yang baik ini sangat bermanfaat bagi peternak pembudidaya ikan gurami dan patin untuk menentukan jumlah budidaya masing masing ikan yang tepat optimal sehingga mampu diraih keuntungan atau pendapatan yang paling maksimal. Ini sesuai dengan tujuan usaha budidaya yaitu menghasilkan hasil yang maksimal dengan menggunakan sumberdaya yang ada. Pelatihan dan penyuluhan yang telah dilakukan sangat menarik perhatian Masyarakat, hal ini terbukti dari semangat warga yang cukup antusias dalam mengikuti sosialisasi mulai dari awal sampai akhir.

Abstract

Perancangan dan pengembangan produk diperlukan untuk memperbaiki produk yang telah ada. Desain meja makan untuk pelangan yang berbelanja di kuliner makanan Bu Lilik, mereka akan memperhatikan kenyamanan pelanggan. Hal tersebut dapat terjadi Ketika pihak penjual yang menjual makanan kurang memperhatikan tingkat kenyamanan pemakainya, selain itu desain meja makan kuliner Bu Lilik yang ada saat ini masih kurang nyaman saat digunakan. Desain meja makan kuliner Bu Lilik yang telah berkembang saat ini masih kurang ergonomis bagi pelanggan karena meja makan kuliner Bu Lilik kurang memperhatikan kenyamanan pelanggan. Hal tersebut dapat terjadi kelelahan pelanggan tersebut, dikarenakan desain meja yang kurang ergonomis dan nyaman kepada mereka. Dalam pendekatan metode perancangan mulai dari pemilihan bahan meja, menentukan desain secara ergonomis berdasar antropometri dengan data 10 pelanggan di kuliner makanan Bu Lilik. Meja sebelumnya ini merupakan produk yang bisa  digunakan pada pelanggan makan kuliner Bu Lilik untuk memudahkan dan memberikan kenyamanan mereka pada saat kegiatan jual beli. Hal ini dilakukan agar dapat memberi kenyamanan saat ada pelanggan.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan teknologi yang cepat menuntut industri untuk beradaptasi dengan perubahan tersebut. Implementasi teknologi diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi produksi guna memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan. Di UD. Trisman Surabaya, industri pembuat matras emboss, mesin yang digunakan saat ini bersifat manual dan telah beroperasi selama lebih dari 20 tahun, menyebabkan proses produksi matras emboss menjadi lambat. Peneliti berencana untuk menganalisis efek dari penambahan mesin scroll saw. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan analisis kelayakan investasi untuk mesin ini. Berdasarkan perhitungan dengan waktu 3 tahun dan bunga 7%, menggunakan Net Present Value (NPV), investasi untuk mesin scroll saw tampak menguntungkan dengan nilai sekitar Rp. 213.766.452 dan Profitability Index (PI) sebesar 0,7. Kesimpulannya, dalam periode 3 tahun, investasi pada mesin scroll saw terlihat layak untuk dilakukan di UD. Trisman Surabaya, dengan mempertimbangkan faktor pasar dan finansial.

Abstract

PT. Ragam Mulya Abadi, a commercial vehicle construction company, is located at Jalan Raya Menganti Jeruk No 296a, Lakarsantri, Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia. The company operates from 08:00 to 17:00, with work being conducted for 9 hours per day. Currently, the company does not have a network diagram or understanding of the critical path in its projects. A network diagram illustrates the production process and relationships between activities in the project, while the critical path is a series of crucial steps that must be completed on time to ensure production stays on schedule. Standard time studies use the stopwatch time study method to improve production efficiency, identify critical paths, and understand fluctuations in labor requirements over the course of a year. With a total standard time of 190 minutes and the critical path A-B-D-E-G-H requiring 3.9 hours, the company can plan and execute projects more efficiently.Keywords: network diagram, standart time, production, efficient, stopwatch time study.

Abstract

Abstract. This study evaluates the effectiveness of a robotics learning approach starting with practical electronics, analog robot design, and basic mechanics in enhancing elementary school students' interest in learning. The research also explores how students’ economic backgrounds influence their enthusiasm for robotics education. The subjects were 25 fifth-grade students from SDN Margorejo 1 Surabaya, selected based on specific criteria, including middle-income family backgrounds. The quasi-experimental research design included pre-test and post-test stages. Activities comprised four phases: introduction to practical electronics, simple analog robot design, basic robotics mechanics training, and robot integration and testing. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, interviews, and project assessments. Descriptive analysis and non-parametric statistical tests measured changes in students’ interest, while qualitative methods examined economic factors affecting enthusiasm. Results revealed a 23% average increase in students’ interest in robotics. Additionally, 88% of students successfully built simple robots demonstrating creativity and functionality. Students from middle-income families maintained high enthusiasm, showing that economic constraints did not significantly hinder participation. This integrated approach effectively fosters technological interest, aligns with STEM concepts, and prepares students for technology-driven challenges. The study contributes practically and theoretically to robotics learning models for elementary education. Abstract

The main problems in otoped rentals are congestion, road branches, and internet connectivity. This research aims to design and implement a simple rental tracking system for otoped at Darmo Surabaya Car Free Day, utilizing Arduino technology integrated with SMS, maps, GPS, and the SIM800L module. The system is developed to enhance the efficiency and security of otoped rentals by providing real-time tracking and location updates. The main components include an Arduino microcontroller, GPS module for location tracking, SIM800L module for SMS communication, and a map interface for visualization. The system sends location data via SMS, which can be accessed by users and administrators to monitor otoped positions and usage. The effectiveness of the system is evaluated based on its accuracy, reliability, and user satisfaction. The results indicate that the Arduino-based tracking system performs well in providing real-time updates and accurate location data, significantly improving the management of scooter rentals. This study concludes that the integration of Arduino, SMS, maps, GPS, and SIM800L is a viable solution for a simple and effective rental tracking system for electric scooters.

Abstract

Pak Pon's chicken noodle SME is a business that sells chicken noodles located in Surabaya. This SME operates by selling only one menu item, chicken noodles, with an average of 200 kg of noodles sold per month, and it still purchases its noodle ingredients from suppliers. Therefore, none of the processes in this SME use machines to prepare the ingredients for the chicken noodles. Given this situation, the researcher has an idea to create a tool that can help streamline the production process in this SME with the aim of increasing sales profit. This research uses cost analysis methods to determine the cost of production, followed by the NPV method to assess whether the equipment purchased by the SME is feasible. The results of this research show that there is a comparison between making the ingredients in-house versus purchasing them. The investment in equipment for the SME is considered feasible, as the payback can be achieved in a few months. This study recommends that the SME increase its sales beyond 200 kg per month in order for the project to proceed as planned. Keywords: Cost analysis, Noodle Dough Tool, NPV, Profit
