Abstract

This research is entitled "Semiotics Analysis on the Design of the Cahaya_Publisher Publisher Logo". This research was conducted on the logo of the Cahaya_Publisher publisher, which is a book publishing that focuses on the religious/spiritual genre. The formulation of the problem in this study is the semiotic analysis of the Cahaya_publisher logo design on the meaning of connotations, denotations and myths in the Cahaya-publisher logo design. The purpose of this study is to determine the meaning of connotations, denotations, and myths in the logo design of the Cahaya_publisher publisher. The author uses a qualitative research method, the data used is primary data in this study, namely the founder of Cahaya_publisher who also designed the Cahaya_publisher logo and secondary data, namely printed media and internet sites to support collecting data sources. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews and documentation. The analysis technique used is Roland Barhets Semiotics analysis. The results of this study are that the meaning of denotation is a visual unity of the yellow and brown logo with the use of sunflower and pen elements. writing, for myth is a positive hope that is contained in the logo design in the form of a sunflower unity and the colors yellow and brown are chosen as representatives of sunlight which has positive energy, lighting for the surroundings in this case for the world of publishing and writing.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of lecturer performance on student learning motivation so that learning can be optimized in accordance with campus academic guidelines. The method in this study was quantitative using simple linear regression analysis with a sample of 220 respondents. The primary data source used a questionnaire which was distributed to respondents according to the sample in this study. The results of the study obtained a significance value of 0.456 so that there was no effect of lecturer performance on student learning motivation. And the R Square value in the determinant coefficient table is 0.003, which means that the influence of the lecturer's performance variable on learning motivation is 0.30%, it can be assumed that there are many other factors that influence student learning motivation that are not examined in this study such as family relationships, relationships with friends peers, infrastructure and so forth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy used by BMT Insan Mulia Palembang in an effort to increase member loyalty as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing the BMT Insan Mulia Palembang marketing strategy to increase member loyalty. This research is a type of field research (field research), this research approach is a qualitative descriptive approach. Sources of data used are primary and secondary data, with data collection techniques of interviews, observation and documentation. In addition, this study also uses data analysis methods including data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that BMT Insan Mulia Palembang has implemented a marketing strategy in an effort to increase member loyalty. The marketing strategy implemented uses the 7P marketing mix which includes product, price, place, promotion, people, physical evidence, and process. The result achieved from implementing the marketing strategy is that the number of loyal members has increased every year because BMT Insan Mulia always prioritizes the needs and desires of its members by providing maximum service and building positive relationships with members. then the supporting factors for BMT Insan Mulia's marketing strategy to increase member loyalty are convenience for members in making deposits and withdrawals, closeness between employees and members so that positive relationships are established, provision of quality facilities to support operational activities, and the provision of regular training to improve the quality of qualified human resources. is at BMT Insan Mulia Palembang so as to be able to create reliable and professional employees. The inhibiting factors are that there is still a minimum number of competent human resources in the field of marketers, there are still people who lack trust in institutions and there are many competitors so that members have more choices.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Strategic Management in Maintaining the Existence of Nurul Islam Seribandung Islamic Boarding School". This study aims to determine the efforts of the Nurul Islam Seribandung Islamic boarding school and the strategic management carried out to maintain its existence. This research is a qualitative research type with a descriptive approach. The data sources in this study are primary data sources and secondary data. Data collection techniques by interview, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the efforts made in maintaining the existence of the Nurul Islam Seribandung Islamic boarding school are by maintaining the existing traditions at the Islamic boarding school then by recruiting human resources and building good relations with alumni, the community and also the government. The Nurul Islam Seribandung Islamic boarding school has implemented a fairly good management strategy. Although there are several challenges faced in carrying out its strategy such as insufficient human resources, constrained funding sources, and inadequate facilities and infrastructure. So that causes this Islamic boarding school to experience a decrease in the number of students. But even so, The Nurul Islam Seribandung Islamic boarding school still stands as an Islamic educational institution that is known by the public. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi adat pernikahan Mabang Handak pada masyarakat Kayuagung, dan mengetahui adat pernikahan Mabang Handak dalam perspektif Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa adat nikah Mabang Handak merupakan adat pernikahan tertinggi dan terlengkap serta masih dilaksanakan oleh masyarakat Kayuagung, tetapi sangat jarang dilakukan, dengan berbagai alasan seperti faktor ekonomi, globalisasi dan lainnya. Mabang Handak dalam perspektif Islam tidak bertentangan dengan Islam karena tidak mengandung kesyirikan dan sebagai asimilasi budaya dalam Islam. Walaupun pernikahan ini mewah tetapi dilaksanakan oleh masyarakat yang mampu, sehingga tidak memberatkan masyarakat. Bagi masyarakat yang tidak mampu menyelenggarakan adat Mabang Handak, tokoh adat memberikan solusi adat pernikahan selainnya yang lebih sederhana seperti Setinong-tinong, Sepinong-pinong, serta Pinang Dibelah. Namun yang perlu diperhatikan dalam perspektif Islam jangan salah niat agar dianggap sebagai orang kaya dan terhormat karena bisa menyebabkan kesombongan, sebab esensi dari resepsi pernikahan adalah guna mengumumkan pernikahan.

Abstract

International media has used data journalism since 2010 to prevent hoaxes. The media in Indonesia are also starting to use it now. Tirto.id is one of the leading media in Indonesia that applies data journalism. This research explores how Tirto.id utilizes data journalism in reporting on the RUU PKS, which has long been a matter of public debate. After carrying out the analysis in accordance with Teun A. Van Dijk's critical discourse analysis, observation, documentation and interview methods will be used. After the analysis is complete and the author reaches a conclusion, it will be presented in a qualitative descriptive manner. The author found that Tirto.id used data journalism in reporting on the RUU PKS by contacting sources to obtain data. Next, the verification team re-checks the data collected from the source to ensure the data quality remains good and prevent errors in delivery. After that, the data is evaluated and presented to the reader.

Abstract

Secondary communication is communication that is carried out using media or tools as a means to be able to communicate with anyone and anywhere or not limited by space and time and the amount. If the communicant is far from reach, a telephone or letter is used, as well as many communicants, loudspeakers are used, if there are far and many, then newspapers, radio or television and other broadcast media are used. There is a media or application called Discord which is commonly used by the average community, especially the Heroes E-Sports group, to communicate via devices such as cellphones and even laptops/PCs. This research was conducted aiming to see how the process or form of secondary communication that occurs when a community or group is carrying out their respective activities. By using a descriptive qualitative research method through various data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the pattern of secondary communication in the Discord Heroes E-Sports group occurred according to the pattern and the communication that took place was very good and responsive. In addition, this research also shows that communication via social media, especially the Discord application, is in great demand, with this Discord can very well become a mobile application for all users to communicate. In conclusion, secondary communication can occur anywhere and anytime using any application that they normally use on a daily basis to support unlimited communication activities. Therefore, it is also necessary to make efforts to improve the quality of the connection or signal and even devices that are used by many people, so that communicating via social media becomes more optimal and reduces interference.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana media Sumatera Ekspres dalam memberitaan kasus Pembunuhan Anton Eka Saputra Pegawai Koperasi di Palembang Masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini mengenai analisis Berita Pembunuhan Anton Eka Saputra Pegawai Koperasi yang di bingkai oleh Media Sumatera Ekspres penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode kualitatif. Analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan model Robert etman. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengamati teks berita dengan empat struktur analisis framing tersebut, yaitu, define problem (pendefisian masalah), diagnose causes (memperkirakan masalah atau sumber masalah) make moral judgement (membuat keputusan moral), treatment recommendation (menekankan penyelesaian) Penelitian ini menganalisis 3 judul berita yang terdapat pada media Sumatera Ekspres. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa framing berita ini Media Harian Sumatera Ekspress dalam mendefinisikan masalah (Define Problem) terkait kasus Pembunuhan Pegawai Koperasi Anton Eka Saputra yang di Cor Semen oleh Bos Distro Anti mahal Sumber masalah (Diagnoses Case) Dalam Pemberitaan ini yang menjadi penyebab masalah adalah Di duga sakit hati pelaku bos distro anti mahal karena hutang Dari Rp5 juta menjadi Rp 24 juta. Belum lagi pelaku menerima perlakuan kasar saat menagih yang menyebabkan sakit hati, jadi kepikiran untuk membunuh, (Make Moral JudgEment) pelaku melanggar undang dijerat dengan Pasal 340 KUHP tentang Pembunuhan Berencana jo Pasal 365 ayat 3 KUHP tentang Curas yang menyebabkan korban meninggal (treatment recommendation) atau solusi penyelesaian Pengadilan Negeri Palembang menjatuhkan vonis hukuman mati kepada tiga terdakwa.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian pertama, untuk mengetahui mengetahui Strategi Komunikasi Interpersonal Kepala Desa dalam meningkatkan pelayanan Bantuan Sosial Masyarakat. Kedua, untuk mengetahui apa faktor pendukung dan penghambat Kepala Desa dalam menanggapi aduan keluhan masyarakat tentang bantuan sosial di Desa Gunung Megang Kabupaten Muara Enim. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan yaitu pertama, aspek pemahaman: komunikasi antara masyarakat dan kepala desa membahas mengenai penjelasan bansos tepat sasaran, perangkat desa gunung megang wajib mutahirkan data kependudukan secara berkala, seperti halnya semua perangkat desa harus memiliki call center termasuk dinas sosial yang juga harus selalu memperbaharui data-data penerima bantuan sosial. Aspek kesenangan: masyarakat memberikan tanggapan mereka yang berbeda-beda mengenai bantuan sosial yang kadang dianggap tepat sasaran atau tidak sesuai dengan pemahaman dan kemampuan dalam mengenali secara luas tentang penerimaan bantuan sosial kepada masyarakat. Aspek pengaruh dan sikap: komunikasi yang terbentuk dengan menanggapi setiap keluhan mengenai bansos yang terkadang dianggap tidak tepat sasaran. Aspek hubungan: komunikasi masyarakat dengan petugas kantor desa sudah berjalan dengan optimal. Kedua, faktor pendukung: pelayanan masyarakat dan pemilihan media yang tepat dari kantor Desa Gunung Megang menggunakan aplikasi Sapawarga dan Website Solidaritas yang telah memenuhi kriteria administrasi, dianggap layak menerima bantuan sosial. Sedangkan faktor penghambat: komunikasi rendah dikarenakan ada juga masyarakat yang tidak mau mengeluhkan langsung permasalahan bansos, petugas kantor desa tidak memahami lingkungan sekitar dan terciptanya prangka buruk dari masyarakat mengenai bansos yang dianggap tidak tepat sasaran.

Abstract

Komunikasi kelompok merupakan unsur penting dalam membangun hubungan yang erat dan kerja sama yang solid di dalam suatu komunitas. Dalam komunitas kreatif seperti Yuk Menggambar Bareng, komunikasi yang terjalin antar anggota tidak hanya menjadi sarana pertukaran informasi, tetapi juga berperan dalam membentuk rasa kebersamaan dan keterikatan antar individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses komunikasi kelompok berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kohesivitas di antara anggota komunitas Yuk Menggambar Bareng. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan beberapa anggota komunitas, serta observasi selama kegiatan komunitas berlangsung. Penelitian ini juga memperhatikan dinamika komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal yang terjadi dalam interaksi kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi kelompok dalam komunitas ini berlangsung secara terbuka, dan partisipatif. Kohesivitas kelompok terwujud dalam bentuk komitmen, kerja sama, dan tujuan bersama. Hal ini menciptakan suasana inklusif yang mendorong anggota untuk saling mendukung, berbagi ide, dan berkolaborasi. Proses komunikasi yang terbangun secara konsisten ini terbukti memperkuat rasa saling memiliki dan mempererat hubungan antaranggota. Kesimpulannya, komunikasi kelompok yang efektif memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan kohesivitas komunitas Yuk Menggambar Bareng, serta dapat menjadi model pengembangan komunitas berbasis kreativitas dan kolaborasi.
