Abstract

Raḥmatan lil 'alamīn adalah salah satu karakter pentingdalam ajaran Islam. Sebagai agama  raḥmatan lil 'alamīn, Islamhadir membawa kedamaian (rahmat) bagi seluruh alam semesta.Tidak hanya bagi umat Islam,  melainkan bagi semua umat denganberbagai latar belakang agama yang berbeda; Kristen, Katolik,Hindhu, Budha, Kong Hucu, dan lain-lain. Akan tetapi, tidakberlebihan jika kita mengatakan bahwa 'slogan' ini belumsepenuhnya dipahami dan diaplikasikan dalam kehidupanmultikultural seperti di Indonesia. Sebab, potret keberagamaanyang semakin buruk dengan berbagai macam bentuk  radikalisme,ekstremisme, dan terorisme masih sering mewarnai dalamkehidupan sehari-hari. Oleh karena itu, penulis mencoba menghadirkan kembali esensi Islam sebagai raḥmatan lil 'alamīnmelalui pendekatan tafsir.Kata Kunci: raḥmatan l i l  ' āl amī n,  raḥmatan,  ' āl amī n, radikalisme, tafsir.

Abstract

It is undeniably that religiosity is a dimension increasingly studied by researchers in psychology throughout the world. It is due to that religiosity is interesting phenomena which never ends to be discussed and investigated. One of them is religiosity of santri community. This article aims to investigate religiousity of two urban santri communities; santri of Darul Falah Besongo Semarang and Ma’had al-Jamiah Walisongo Semarang. Through qualitative approach, there are mainly research findings. First, the religiousity of those two communities has similarities and differences which could be seen in every dimensions of religiousity. Second, influencing factors of their religiousity could be identified into two; internal and external. Internal fartor consists of knowledge and understanding degree and inner condition of subject. Meanwhile, external factor includes environmental circumstances, rules of pesantren, and figure of kyai. Keywords: Religiousity, Santri, Pesantren.

Abstract

Islamic teachings recorded in the hadith are closely related to the Arabic language and culture. This fact has become a challenge for Indonesian scholars to preach Islamic teachings in the archipelago. To ground the hadith, the archipelago scholars tried to articulate it in local languages, including Javanese. This is what Bisri Mustofa (1915-1978) did. This research attempts to examine how Bisri Mustofa articulated the commentaries of hadith (syarḥ al-ḥadīṡ) through Javanese in his work al-Azwād al-Muṣṭafawiyah. Specifically, this research tries to find the local context that appears in the book. By using the descriptive analysis method, this research concludes two findings. Firstly, Bisri articulates the syarah of hadith briefly and globally (ijmāli) in Javanese, which is easy to understand and comprehend. In several aspects, the syarah of hadith used the intertextual method, which links the hadith with the al-Qur'an and other related hadith (tanawwu 'al-aḥādiṡ). He also paid attention to the historicity of hadith by mentioning the reasons for the emergence of hadith (asbab al-wurūd al-ḥadīṡ). Secondly, the articulation of the syarah hadith is vibrant with the locality. Bisri does not hesitate to link the syarah hadith with local cultures such as selametan, kenduren, kondangan, and even the Javanese proverb (unen-unen). Bisri is also not awkward when he connects the explanation of the hadith with the socio-political conditions in Indonesia, such as the struggle through parliamentary seats, the Islamic Party in Indonesia, and the government's role in amar ma'ruf nahi munkar. Bisri's openness in accommodating local contexts gives its characteristics to the typology of syarah hadith in the archipelago through his work al-Azwād al-Muṣṭafawiyah.

Abstract

The general objective of this research is to find and analyze empirically the effect of students perceptions on teacher pedagogical competence and learning motivation of students together on the learning achievement of Al-Qur’an Hadis students. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. Data were collected on class VIII students at MTs Darul Ulum Semaranng and the subjects selected in this research were three class. The data collection techniques used were students perceptions on teacher pedagogical competence questionnaire, student learning motivation questionnaire, recapitulation of student learning achievement and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are percentage analysis techniques, data normality test, data linearity test, simple linear regression analysis, double regression analysis and significance test. The validity of the data uses the product moment correlation formula and reliability uses the Alpha Cronbach formula. In this research, Microsoft Excel were used to help process and analyze research data. The results of this research indicate: (1) The influence of student perceptions of teacher pedagogic competence on student achievement (2) The influence of learning motivation on student achievement (3) There was a significant influence on student perceptions of teacher pedagogic competence and learning motivation together on the learning achievement of Al-Qur’an Hadis students.

Abstract

This article aims to elaborate on and analyze the method of tashih and tadhwif for hadith used by an-Nasa'i, a muhaddith in the third century of the Hijra (codification era), in his book Sunan al-Mujtaba. The objective is to position an-Nasa'i among other muhaddithun. The article addresses three questions: first, what method does an-Nasa'i use in selecting and verifying hadiths? Second, to what extent is an-Nasa'i consistent in applying his method, and why is he considered a mutashaddid by scholars? Third, what are the unique aspects and qualities of an-Nasa'i's method of tashih and tadhwif? The research concludes several points. Firstly, an-Nasa'i formulated a set of criteria and principles for authentic hadiths, which he used to conduct tashih and tadhwif and verify the authenticity of each hadith. The criteria for authentic hadiths include trustworthy transmitters (tsiqqah), uninterrupted chain of transmission (ittisal), and absence of anomalies (syadz) and hidden defects (illat). Secondly, an-Nasa'i's consistency can be observed in three aspects: 1) his criticism of transmitters, 2) the use of specific wording in transmission, and 3) his annotations in al-Mujtaba. Thirdly, an-Nasa'i's strictness (tashaddud) sets him apart from others. This reflects his commitment to preserving hadiths from errors and deviations, which is a positive attribute. Similar efforts to minimize deviations were made by al-Bukhari through the requirement of liqa' for hadiths classified as sahih.

Abstract

            There is a lot of data and facts that explain that Indonesia has a low literacy rate. This research aims to examine efforts to strengthen the religious literacy of students at MTs Ar-Rois Cendekia Semarang through the study of hadith which is used as a positive habit because of the importance of strengthening understanding of religion in students' lives. This research is a type of qualitative research with data collection techniques using interviews and observation. The research results show that students' weak religious literacy can be strengthened through positive habits in islamic junior hight school through the study of hadiths which contain various kinds of hadiths, including authentic, hasan and dha'if hadiths. The importance of strengthening religious literacy is to make students more intelligent, critical and selective in sorting information related to religion and can improve social skills, religious character and cross-cultural abilities.

Abstract

This paper describes the implementation of local wisdom of Nu-an values as a school culture habit that aims to overcome the character and moral crisis. As an educational institution that has an important responsibility in educating based on formal education theory by not excluding character education. SMP Hasanuddin 06 Semarang develops local wisdom of NU values as a school program to realize the vision, mission, and goals of the school.  The implementation of school culture is in accordance with the background of the institution that oversees the school. This research uses analytical qualitative method, with observation, interview and document techniques to collect data. There is a foundation and value that is formed by education based on NU an local wisdom. Steps in preparing habituation activities can facilitate activities in accordance with local potential.

Abstract

Purpose – This research aims to find out the efforts to strengthen Islamic Religious Education as well as the problems and solutions to efforts to strengthen Islamic Religious Education for Muslim minorities carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Larantuka East Flores. Design/methods/approach – The research method used in this study is Qualitative Research, which is a series of activities related to the method of collecting information through observations, interviews, and documentation. Findings – The study results revealed that efforts to strengthen Islamic Religious Education for minority Muslims at SMP Negeri 1 Larantuka Flores Timur comprised 1) Spiritual Development; 2) Spiritual Strengthening; 3) Iftar Gathering; and 4) Halal bi Halal. The problems faced in the activities of strengthening Islamic Religious Education at SMP Negeri 1 Larantuka Flores Timur included internal factors, lack of support from the teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Larantuka Flores Timur, and inadequate school facilities for indoor activities. Research implications/limitations – Despite the study's significant contribution to the religious strengthening program for minority Muslim students in schools, this research still has some limitations, such as the limitation of the research site that was only one school. Originality/value – This research has an important meaning in providing discourse and discourse on religious strengthening activities or programs at SMP Negeri 1 Larantuka Flores Timur. The findings of this study have emphasized that there is still a discriminatory attitude towards minority Muslim students in schools. Therefore, PAI teachers in Muslim minority schools are expected to pay more attention to these minority Muslim students.
