Abstract

Religious intolerance phenomenon in the school environment is still common. It is a severe problem that must be addressed and a solution found together so that it does not become a source of radical religious movements. Strengthening religious moderation for Rohis (Islamic spirituality) in schools is very important as a provision for them in society and the state. This activity aims to enhance the attitude of religious moderation and determine the level of Islamic understanding of spiritual activists in high schools and vocational schools in Semarang, Central Java. This article uses descriptive quantitative methods. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire as a survey, distributed as a Google Form. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis techniques. The results show that strengthening Rohis religious moderation for High and Vocational Schools in Semarang City was conducted through workshops and visits. The percentage of spiritual activists' level of understanding of Islam, which is based on the principle of moderation of the 25 respondents who have a moderate sense or moderate sense, is calculated to be 12%, and those who have behavior above a moderate mind, moderate behavior, is estimated to be 88%. This activity implies the need for follow-up activities from the Rohis extracurricular for each high and vocational school to further optimize the extra program with actions that uphold the value of religious moderation.

Abstract

Honey has long been recognized as a natural substance with therapeutic benefits, both in the Qur'anic perspective and modern medicine. This study aims to analyze the alignment between the Qur'anic view (QS. An-Nahl verses 68-69) of honey as a "healing for mankind" and modern scientific findings, particularly Peter Molan's research on its antibacterial mechanisms and wound-healing properties. A qualitative literature review method was employed, integrating Qur'anic exegesis analysis and a review of scientific literature from reputable databases such as PubMed and ScienceDirect. The results demonstrate that honey's therapeutic properties, including antibacterial activity, wound healing, and potential as an antibiotic alternative, have been scientifically validated through active compounds like methylglyoxal (MGO) and hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂). These findings align with the Qur'anic description and its interpretations, while also highlighting challenges in quality standardization for clinical applications. In conclusion, this study strengthens the integration of science and religion in understanding honey as a therapeutic agent and recommends the development of standardized protocols and further research to optimize its use in modern healthcare.

Abstract

Abstract: The Youth Red Cross (PMR) extracurricular activity at SMPN 16 Semarang is one of the most popular activities for students. The high participation indicates a strong tendency for students to engage in social activities from an early age. However, despite PMR's great potential in fostering social character, there is still limited understanding of students' initial motivations, the impact of their involvement, and challenges in its implementation. This study aims to analyze the interest, motivation, social impact, constraints, and development strategies of PMR activities. The approach used was sequential exploratory mixed methods, where qualitative data from interviews and observations were analyzed first to form a questionnaire instrument which was then studied quantitatively. The results showed that the dominant motivation for students to join PMR was the desire to learn first aid and gain social experience. PMR activities are proven to contribute to fostering empathy and social care through student involvement in humanitarian action. However, this activity still faces obstacles such as fluctuations in attendance, lack of facilities, and uneven participation. Strengthening strategies are carried out through schedule adjustments, variations in training methods, and expansion of external cooperation. This research makes a real contribution to the development of extracurricular activities based on social character, and can be a reference for school managers in designing adaptive and sustainable programs.Abstrak: Ekstrakurikuler Palang Merah Remaja (PMR) di SMPN 16 Semarang merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang paling diminati oleh siswa. Tingginya partisipasi menunjukkan adanya kecenderungan kuat siswa untuk terlibat dalam aktivitas sosial sejak dini. Namun, meskipun PMR berpotensi besar dalam menumbuhkan karakter sosial, masih terdapat keterbatasan pemahaman terkait motivasi awal siswa, dampak keterlibatan mereka, serta tantangan dalam pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis minat, motivasi, dampak sosial, kendala, dan strategi pengembangan kegiatan PMR. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah mixed methods eksploratori sekuensial, di mana data kualitatif dari wawancara dan observasi dianalisis terlebih dahulu untuk membentuk instrumen angket yang kemudian dikaji secara kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dominan siswa bergabung dalam PMR adalah keinginan belajar pertolongan pertama dan memperoleh pengalaman sosial. Kegiatan PMR terbukti berkontribusi dalam menumbuhkan empati dan kepedulian sosial melalui keterlibatan siswa dalam aksi kemanusiaan. Namun, kegiatan ini masih menghadapi kendala seperti fluktuasi kehadiran, minimnya fasilitas, dan partisipasi yang belum merata. Strategi penguatan dilakukan melalui penyesuaian jadwal, variasi metode pelatihan, serta perluasan kerja sama eksternal. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam pengembangan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berbasis karakter sosial, dan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pengelola sekolah dalam merancang program yang adaptif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Hadith commentary (sharḥ) is the result of dynamic ijtihad which has a dialectical relation with the socio-historical conditions of the commentator (shāriḥ). This paper aims to examine the existence of social dialectics and the interrelated subjectivity of authorship in hadith commentary, namely Tarjamah Bulughul Maram Ibnu Hajar al-Asqalani Terjemahan Beserta Keterangannya written by Ahmad Hassan. It discusses two issues: 1) on the motivation of Ahmad Hassan’s authorship in writing the book Tarjamah Bulughul Maram; 2) on the local values ​​which are manifested in the book. By using descriptive-analytical method and interpretive approach, this paper argues two conclusions. First, the background of the authorship of the hadith commentary is inseparable from Hassan’s response to social conditions that require explanations of the Bulūgh al-Marām. In addition, he also interested in disseminating the notion of Islamic renewal through his work. Second, local elements of the archipelago which are manifested in his commentary book, including: local language, appreciation of local treasures, response to local traditions, and legal provisions.   Syarah hadis merupakan hasil ijtihad yang dinamis dan selalu memiliki hubungan dialektis dengan kondisi sosio-historis penulisnya (shāriḥ). Tulisan ini hendak menunjukan eksistensi dialektika sosial dan subjektivitas kepengarangan yang saling bertautan. Dengan menjadikan Tarjamah Bulughul Maram Ibnu Hajar al-Asqalani Terjemahan Beserta Keterangannya yang ditulis oleh Ahmad Hassan sebagai objek kajian, artikel ini hendak mendiskusikan dua hal, yaitu: 1) tentang motivasi kepengarangan Ahmad Hassan dalam menulis kitab Tarjamah Bulughul Maram? 2) tentang nilai-nilai lokal yang termanifestasikan dalam kitab syarah tersebut. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitis dan pendekatan interpretatif, tulisan ini menemukan dua kesimpulan. Pertama, latar kepengarangan syarah hadis tersebut tidak terlepas dari respon Hassan terhadap kondisi sosial yang membutuhkan penjelasan atas kitab Bulūgh al-Marām. Selain itu, Hassan juga memiliki kepentingan untuk mendiseminasikan paham pembaharuan Islam melalui karyanya tersebut. Kedua, unsur lokal Nusantara yang termanifestasikan dalam kitab syarah tersebut, di antaranya: bahasa lokal, apresiasi khazanah lokal, respon terhadap tradisi lokal, dan ketentuan hukum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji integrasi antara neurosains dan konsep tazkiyatun nafs (penyucian jiwa) dalam Pendidikan anak berdasarkan QS. Al-Hujurat 12-13. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara tahapan perkembangan struktur otak anak dengan proses tazkiyatun nafs, serta merumuskan model Pendidikan anak yang integratif. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan kajian pustaka, menganalisis 25-30 sumber akademik yang berkaitan dengan neurosains dan konsep tazkiyatun nafs. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa masa anak-anak (0-7 tahun) merupakan fase terpenting untuk menciptakan pengendalian emosi dan empati yang baik, tentunya selaras dengan tujuan spiritual tazkiyatun nafs. Integrasi prinsip neurosains  dengan nilai-nilai Islam mampu memperkuat pembentukan karakter yang holistik. Model yang diusulkan mencakup 3 pokok utama: penguatan spiritual, stimulasi kognitif, dan keteladanan emosional. Sinergi ini mampu menjembatani perkembangan neuropsikologis dengan etika Islam, dengan menawarkan kerangka Pendidikan anak yang seimbang dalam segala aspek. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa integrasi ini mampu menjawab tantangan Pendidikan modern sekaligus mewujudkan visi Islam insan kamil.
