Abstract

Brang Biji River is one of the rivers prone to flooding. Flooding occurs can result in a collapse in the construction of the retaining walls of the soil causing substantial harm to the surrounding community. It takes an alternative in maintaining the stability of slopes to reduce the avalanche in the Brang Biji River. Alternative wall retaining walls namely pairs of stone times and Sheet Pile, while comparative analysis to determine the type of effective construction used in the Brang Biji river using manual calculation method and software Plaxis 8.6. Data collection through field surveys, to get soil type data, geometrics slopes, and soil layer. To get the stability of slope in existing condition, in case of a cladding with SF ? 1 criteria using method of reverse analysis or approach based on trial and error literature. Results obtained from the reverse analysis are used for the analysis of the compoon on the slope of the Brang Biji River, either by manual calculation or Software Plaxis 8.6 In determining the value of SF. After analysis of the stability of the slope, obtained the result that by using a stone time retaining wall with a height of 5.5 m, the bottom width of 3.85 m, the upper width of 0.6 m with a depth of 1.5 m from the ground surface and the height of the river water face around 7.8 m , both against the bolsters with SF = 3.4, against sliding with SF = 2.17 and the power of land with SF = 3 manually while using the Plaxis Software with the addition of the working floor with a thickness of 10 cm and piling with a diameter of 40 cm with a distance of 25 cm obtained SF = 1.26. Whereas by using Sheet Pile use manual calculation obtained depth (D) Sheet Pile about 2.43 m with a large stability backup (SF) = 1.5 D and the length of Sheet Pile as a whole about 8.43 m from ground level, while using Plaxis obtained value SF = 1,167.

Abstract

Revetmen pantai Jempol merupakan bangunan pelindung pantai yang keberadaannya sudah cukup lama di pantai Jempol kabupaten Sumbawa. Bangunan pantai ini telah berusia 10 tahun sejak tahun pembuatannya yaitu tahun 2010. Dengan usia bangunan yang cukup lama ini, bangunan bisa mengalami kelemahan pada stabilitasnya karena adanya faktor-faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi kekuatan bangunan tersebut. Gelombang adalah faktor terbesar yang bisa menyebabkan kerusakan pada revetment. Gelombang bisa muncul karena adanya angin dan berdasarkan panjang fetch atau pembangkit gelombang. Semakin besar angin dan jarak fetchnya maka semakin besar pula gelombang yang ada pada daerah tersebut. Berdasarkan kondisi yang ada di lokasi ini, terdapat beberapa kerusakan pada revetmennya misalnya kerusakan pada bagian topping revetment diakibatkan limpasan gelombang yang terlalu tinggi dan tidak sesuai dengan elevasi bangunan, hal ini bisa mengakibatkan bangunan lainnya yang ada disekitar revetment terancam rusak juga.

Abstract

Sampe Village is a village located in Rhee Subdistrict, Sumbawa Besar Regency, with an area of 35 Ha / m² where the research was conducted. The large number of people, the majority of whom are farmers, make water needs increasing, so the role of agricultural irrigation is very important to meet the water needs of farmers. However, there are still many farmers who do not maintain irrigation channels in this area. Based on the survey conducted, there were several channels that were damaged intentionally or unintentionally. The need for water in the irrigation area in the last two years had experienced a shortage of irrigation water, namely in 2017 and 2018 where the water demand was not fulfilled after the second period of planting. Therefore, we need an analysis of the distribution of the distribution of the fastest water supply that does not affect or reduce the need for irrigation water so that it is sufficient until after the second planting and planning of channel dimensions at several points that are damaged. Calculation of irrigation water needs is done using the standard method of irrigation planning. Where the crop pattern used is rice-maize which is viewed from the local farmers' habits. The net field water requirement for rice (Net Field Reuerement) is calculated as determined by the Directorate General of Irrigation (1986). To plan the dimensions of the channel, the 1980 irrigation technical planning criteria guidebook was used, which was sourced from the journal Effendy (Irrigation canal design). From the results of the investigation conducted, it was found that the calculation of irrigation water needs was 19.07 mm / day in December at the time of land preparation and the smallest was in March at 3.70 mm / day. With a system of continuous irrigation water patterns during the growing season. For the planning of the channel dimensions, two channel models are used, namely a trapezoidal shape with a width of = 0.50 m and a height of 0.50 m, and the second form, a square with a size of 0.50 m width and 0.30 m height.

Abstract

The Tano – Sumbawa cross road is one of the national highways that connects two regencies, namely West Sumbawa Regency and Sumbawa Regency. Meanwhile, the research location is in Luk Village, Rhee District, Sumbawa Regency, precisely at Km 14+100 to 14+600. As we know that, Drainage is one of the water building facilities that functions to drain, dry a land so that the land can be used optimally. Good drainage is expected to overcome the damage to the highway caused by water. There are so many problems that we often encounter in drainage channels, one of which is the deposition of sedimentation which can result in a reduction in the value of the drainage channel function so that the drainage channel cannot work optimally. So we need a study with the aim of knowing the type of sedimentation in the drainage channel of the Tano - Sumbawa highway and to find out what percentage of the sedimentation rate is in the drainage channel so that with the aim of knowing what steps should be taken in dealing with damage to the drainage channel. caused by sedimentation in drainage channels. To find out the type of sedimentation, the Grain Size Distribution Analysis was used, while to find out the percentage of sedimentation rate in the Drainage channel, the Sediment Percentage Analysis method was used. From the results of the study, the diameter of the average grain size of the sedimentation aggregate was 0.71 mm and it was said to be medium sand. Meanwhile, the percentage of sedimentation in the canal was found to be 84.90% and it was said to be dysfunctional, as for the steps that should be taken, namely to conduct a design study of the drainage channel.

Abstract

Since 2020 the number of students at the Faculty of Environmental and Mineral Technology (FTLM), Sumbawa University of Technology (UTS) has increased, and along with the increase in the number of students, it will affect the growth of transportation users. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence FTLM students in using transportation, in this case, FTLM students choose to use private motorcycle vehicles. Data collection using questionnaires and field observations on 86 respondents taken based on random sampling techniques. The data were analyzed using the binary logistic regression method. This method has four model tests, namely assessing the overall model (Overall Model Test), testing the feasibility of the model (Goodness Fit Test), the coefficient of determination and the classification matrix. The results showed that there are 2 factors or variables that are the reasons for FTLM students to use private motorcycle vehicles, namely vehicle ownership and distance to campus.

Abstract

Kabupaten Sumbawa memiliki pertumbuhan penduduk yang berkembang secara cukup pesat. Seiring waktu perberkembangan dengan aktivitas masyarakat yang beragam dalam setiap harinya, sehingga kepadatan tingkat lalu lintas harianpun mengalami peningkatan pada suatu jalan. Salah satu lokasi aktivitas masyarakat adalah simpang empat PPN Bukit Permai Kabupaten Sumbawa, NTB, dimana menghubungkan jalan kearah timur, barat, utara dan selatan Kabupaten Sumbawa. Volume Lalu lintas harian rata-rata (LHR) adalah kondisi kepadatan volume kendaraan dalam satu hari berdasarkan arah lajur yang tersedia. Tingkat kepadatan lalu lintas dalam kurun waktu 24 jam mengalami puncak volume kepadatan kendaraan yang berbeda-beda berdasarkan aktivitas masyarakat setiap harinya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan pelayanan jalan simpang empat PPN Bukit Permai dalam menampung volume kendaraan yang lewat setiap harinya dengan sistem pengumpulan data, baik data primer yang terdiri dari survei langsung pada lokasi dan data sekunder yang didapatkan dari instansi terkait. Analisis ini menggunakan metode lalu lintas harian rata-rata (LHR) dengan acuan peraturan MKJI tahun 1997. Hasil perhitungan yang telah dilakukan memberikan landasan penilaian kejenuhan dari pelayanan suatu jalan terhadap tingkat volume aktivitas yang dilakukan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kinerja jalan simpang empat PPN Bukit Permai didapatkan data bahwa tingkat volume harian kendaraan tettinggi terjadi pada pukul 17.00-18.00 WITA dengan nilai dari derajat kejenuhan adalah sebesar 0.379 dimana dapat dikatan bahwa simpang empat PPN Bukit Permai stabil dalam kemampuan pelayanan kapasitas jalan dengan kondisi ramai lancar
