Abstract

This study aims to find out the collaboration between class teachers, special guidance teachers, and parents of children with special needs. In addition, it also knows the optimization of the developmental aspects of children with special needs which include academic attitudes, social skills, emotions, and independence. This study used qualitative research methods. The process of data collection is done using the method of interviews, observation, and documentation study. Data analysis using the model presented by Miles and Huberman includes the process of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions based on facts in the field. The results of the study show that good collaboration between classroom teachers, special guidance teachers, and parents in the process of education in schools strongly supports the development of children with special needs. The development of aspects of social skills is more prominent than the development of aspects of academic attitudes, emotional development, and independence.

Abstract

Primary Schools aims to form the younger generation who have morals, values andcharacter that tends to be a productive, creative, innovative, and affective . Elementaryschool teachers are one of the key success in shaping the next generation thereforeelementary school teachers must have the professional ability, attitude and personality.University Achmad Yani Banjarmasin as one of the colleges that will generate prospectiveelementary teachers has to make efforts so that the demands of the professionalneeds of elementary school teachers in the community can be met. Teacher professionalmust have pedagogical, social competence, professional competence, and personalitycompetence. Several efforts should be made starting from the right curriculum, condusivelearning process, quality of faculty, and building positive character of the student. Basedon preliminary observations, primary education students come from many levels. Besides,they have a variety of purposes and reasons for studying. This leads to the diversityof motivation in their studies .Therefore, it is necessary to study on CompatibilityRelationship Between Personality Type and Model Learning Environment With StudentsLearning Motivation. The result of this study can be used as one consideration in selectionof new students to enter primary education department.

Abstract

The present research aimed at investigating the direct effect of civil servant teacher job satisfaction on their absenteeism. Quantitative approach with survey method was employed. The sample involved was 198 civil servant teachers from public senior high schools in Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia. The result signified that tcount < ttable (-2.84<-1.97) leading to the acceptance of H0 and the rejection of H1. This explicitly stated that civil servant job satisfaction has a negative direct effect on their absenteeism. For job satisfaction predictors, positive attitude places the highest position followed by comfort in work and certainty in work. While the highest predictors of absenteeism from the highest to the lowest are: punctual task completion failure, absenteeism style, and no explanation absence. The study is predicted to provide recommendation for schools to promote teacher job satisfaction and suppress their absenteeism rate. Providing comfort and creating positive working atmosphere for teachers either has significant consequence to endeavor job satisfaction promotion and absenteeism rate decrease. Besides, leaders and school management board assertiveness in the mechanism of decreasing absenteeism is unarguably decisive to create fairness in policy and procedure obedience.

Abstract

Educational facilities and infrastructure is one of the important resources in supporting the learning process in schools. The research aims to know and analyze the fulfillment of the accessibility of infrastructure facilities in inclusive elementary schools of Banjarmasin City. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The research was conducted in five elementary schools that provided inclusive education. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation. Informan were the principal school, class teachers, and special teachers. The results of the research showed that all schools had complete infrastructure, but managementand maintenance were still not optimal. The accessibility of learning infrastructure and special infrastructure facilities were not yet fulfilled by inclusive schools. Cooperation from all parties is needed to complete and manage infrastructure in inclusive schools so that services and learning is more qualified.

Abstract

The research aimed to evaluate the implementation of an inclusive education program in the elementary school. This research uses a qualitative approach, an evaluation method with a discrepancy evaluation model (DEM) which has four stages: design, installation, process, and results. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, documentation studies, and questionnaires. The results of the study show: 1) the program has not been designed according to criteria and standards; 2) there are many implementation of supporting resources that do not fit the criteria and standards; 3) implementation in the form of activities is still not optimal; and 4) program products do not reflect the achievement of the objectives of the program. Based on these findings,it is necessary to improvement, seriously, and increase as much as possible in all aspects so that services and learning in inclusive schools are more qualified.

Abstract

Sekolah penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif dituntut untuk melakukan penyesuaian-penyesuaian termasuk dalam hal kurikulum. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan adaptasi kurikulum di sekolah dasar penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan dilaksanakan di lima sekolah dasar inklusif yang ada di Banjarmasin dengan informan kepala sekolah, guru kelas, dan guru pembimbing khusus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu sekolah inklusif menggunakan kurikulum nasional sebagai acuan dalam pembelajaran. Agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa maka dilakukan adaptasi kurikulum ketika proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Adaptasi dilakukan dalam hal modifikasi materi, penggunaan media, dan penilaian hasil belajar siswa. Namun sekolah masih banyak menemui kendala untuk menyusun dan mendokumentasikan ke dalam program pembelajaran individual (PPI).

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di SMA PGRI 2 Banjarbaru sebagai mitra. Kegiatan ini memiliki sasaran untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan kreativitas siswa-siswi SMA PGRI 2 agar dapat mengembangkan inspirasi dan berpikir kreatif terhadap peluang bisnis yang ada di masyarakat melalui kegiatan pelatihan kerajinan tangan berupa buket. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 22-23 Juni 2023 dengan diikuti 30 orang peserta. Hand buket yang dihasilkan dan bernilai jual tinggi akan berdampak terhadap peningkatan pendapatan keluarga

PDFKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh Tim PKM FKIP Universitas Achmad Yani Banjarmasin di SMA Muhammadiyah Kecamatan Karang Intan Kabupaten Banjar dilaksanakan pada tanggal 16 dan 17 Nopember 2023 dengan tema : Penelusuran Minat Untuk Merancang Karir Masa Depan. Minat mengarahkan individu terhadap suatu obyek atas dasar rasa senang atau ketertarikan. Penelusuran minat penting dilakukan agar tujuan karir dapat difokuskan ke minat yang lebih dominan. Dalam hal ini tes minat dilakukan guna membantu siswa mengenali dan menggali minat yang mereka miliki.Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini merupakan salah satu cara untuk mengetahui kemampuan dan minat siswa SMA Muhammadiyah di Kecamatan Karang Intan sebelum masuk ke perguruan tinggi. Adapun metode kegiatan ini adalah penyuluhan dan pelaksanaan tes. Kesimpulan yang bisa diambil dari kegiatan ini yaitu siswa SMA Muhammadiyah Kecamatan Karang Intan Kabupaten Banjar mengetahui arah minat yang dimiliki sehingga memudahkan mereka dalam menentukan pilihan jenjang Pendidikan selanjutnya dan juga dapat membantu dalam menentukan karir dikemudian hari.
