Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to optimise the growth of Superior Balitbangtan (KUB-2) chickens through feed restriction during the starter period and its effect on the recovery phase. This study used 100 two-week-old KUB-2 chickens, placed in 20 cages measuring 70 cm x 70 cm x 60 cm, with each cage containing 5 KUB-2 chickens. The study employed a Completely Randomised Design (CRD) with four treatments and five replicates. The variables observed were feed intake, body weight gain, feed conversion ratio (FCR), Growth Rate,  and Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC). The research showed that applying 20%, 30%, and 40% feed restriction had a significant effect (P < 0.01) on decreasing feed intake and body weight gain, but had no significant effect (P > 0.05) on the feed conversion ratio during the 4 weeks of treatment. During the recovery phase, ad libitum feeding had a significant effect (P < 0.05) on feed intake, but did not affect body weight gain or feed conversion ratio. Throughout the study, feed restriction followed by recovery had a very significant effect (P < 0.01) on feed intake and a significant effect (P < 0.05) on body weight gain and feed conversion ratio. This study concludes that the 20% feed restriction treatment showed the best performance, with a feed intake of 339.97 g/bird/week, body weight gain of 98.35 g/bird/week, a feed conversion ratio of 3.46, a growth rate of 0.227, and an Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC) of Rp. 14,815.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze how the application of absolute responsibility (Strict Liability) contained in the peace deed regarding the restoration of peat ecosystems as compensation number 44/Pdt.G/LH/2021/PN and the legal consequences of non-implementation of the content of the peace agreement in the case of forest and land fires that occurred on the corporate land of PT. Pesona Belantara Persada and Pt. Putra Duta Indah Wood. The peeling method used in this thesis is Juridical-Empirical, where data collection and data processing are carried out empirically-normatively from factual data based on cases that occur and analyze cases based on applicable laws and norms. Based on the results of the research, the delay in the implementation of the verdict or peace deed that has been passed, the court can order the payment of forced money for each day of delay. Parties who have deliberately negligent and committed a default without an overmacht or force majure, have legal consequences that can be sanctioned in the form of paying losses suffered by other parties, cancellation of agreements, transfer of risks, and paying case costs if sued in court.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the demands of 21st-century learning which requires the integration of digital technology to improve the quality of the teaching and learning process in elementary schools. Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning in the Merdeka Curriculum is expected to encourage students to think critically, solve problems, and actively participate in learning activities. However, based on observations and interviews conducted in several elementary schools in Region II of Lubuk Kilangan District, Padang City, it was found that learning activities were still dominated by conventional teaching methods and printed worksheets, resulting in limited student engagement. In addition, the use of digital technology in learning has not been systematically integrated with innovative learning models such as Problem Based Learning (PBL). Therefore, this study aims to develop an electronic student worksheet (E-LKPD) assisted by the Wordwall media using the Problem Based Learning model in IPAS learning for fourth-grade elementary school students. The developed E-LKPD is designed to facilitate students in identifying problems, conducting investigations, collaborating in discussions, and presenting solutions systematically through interactive digital activities. Wordwall is utilized to provide educational games and interactive learning activities that can enhance students’ motivation and engagement in the learning process. By integrating the PBL model with Wordwall media, the developed E-LKPD is expected to become an innovative learning medium that supports more effective IPAS learning, improves students’ critical thinking skills, and encourages active participation in classroom activities. The results of this development are expected to serve as an alternative digital learning medium that is practical, engaging, and relevant to the needs of learning in the digital era.
