Abstract

Angka penderita Schizophrenia di Indonesia pada 25 tahun yang lalu diperkirakan 1/1000 penduduk dengan proyeksi 25 tahun mendatang mencapai 3/1000 penduduk. Seorang penderita schizophrenia harus didorong untuk bergaul dengan orang lain dengan maksud agar ia tidak mengasingkan diri lagi, karena bila menarik diri penderita dapat membentuk kebiasaan yang kurang baik. Social skills therapy berguna untuk meningkatkan kemampuan sosial, kemampuan memenuhi diri sendiri, latihan praktis dan komunikasi interpersonal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efek dari penerapan Social skills therapy kepada penderita Schizophrenia katatonik terutama terhadap relasi sosialnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian berupa studi kasus. Hasil pelaksanaan social skills therapy adalah subyek penelitian mampu menunjukkan respon berupa uluran tangan untuk berjabat tangan dan subyek mampu mengadakan interaksi timbal balik berupa senyuman ketika diberi pertanyaan. Sessi terapi yang sempat terhenti menyebabkan perubahan yang telah terbentuk pada subyek kembali seperti semula saat terapi belum dilaksanakan. Hasil dari intervensi berupa social skills therapy akan lebih baik bila sessi terapi dilaksanakan secara berkesinambungan dan pihak keluarga juga ikut berperan aktif dalam pelaksanaan terapi. Kata kunci: Relasi sosial, social skill therapy, penderita schizophrenia katatonik. Number of people with Schizophrenia in Indonesia in the last 25 years is estimated to 1/1000 with a projected population of 25 years reaches 3/1000 population. A person with schizophrenia should be encouraged to get along with others with the intention that he does not alienate himself, because when he pulled away he can form bad habits. Social skills therapy is useful for improving social skills , ability to meet yourself, practical exercises and interpersonal communication. This study aimed to examine the effects of the adoption of the Social skills therapy to patients with catatonic schizophrenia , especially the social relations . This study uses a case study research . The results of the implementation of social skills therapy are able to study subjects showed a response in the form of a helping hand to shake hands and the subjects were able to hold a reciprocal interaction in the form of a smile when asked a question . Therapy session was stopped cause changes that have formed on the subject back to normal when therapy has not been implemented . Results of a social skills intervention therapy would be better if the therapy sessions conducted continuously and the family also play an active role in the implementation of the therapy . Abstract

The earthquake that took place in Palu certainly caused psychological injuries to the survivors, especially teenager. They were required to accepted the situation in an instant. However, if the demands cannot be fulfilled, they will be in a stressful situation. Self disclosure can be used to deal with stress. Feelings of relief  and emotional support will help teens to overcome the problems. This study aimed to investigate the correlation between self disclosure and stress among teenager who survived the earthquake in Palu. The instrument that researcher used were a scale compiled by Khoyroh (2016) and Bunda (201) that had been modified. The subjects were 129 respondents. This study used correlational design with purposive sampling. Subjects were teenagers between the age of 12-21 who survived from the earthquake happened in Palu. The instrument used were Data were analysed using the Pearson Product Moment. Correlation results showed that there was negative correlation between self disclosure and stress among teenagers. Coefficient value of the correlation (r) was -0,246 with p = 0,005 (< 0,0)1. It can be conclude,  the higher the teenagers disclose themselves, the lower risk of stress they will perceived.  The contribution of the self disclosure to the stress was 6,1%.

Abstract

Online games in this era can be played with mobile phones. One of the most popular mobile games today is the battle royale game. The frequent play of online games over period of 12 months can cause players to tend to internet gaming disorder. One factor that is though to affect the frequency of playing online games is loneliness. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of loneliness on tendency of internet gaming disorder. This research is a quantitative non-experimental regression form. The subject of this study amounted to 103 subjects with the characteristics of playing battle royale game at least 4.5 hours per day and aged 18 to 25 years obtained by accidental sampling technique. The scale of this study uses the De Jong Gierveld Loneliness scale developed by researchers to measure the loneliness and scale of Internet Gaming Disorders to measure the tendency of internet gaming disorder. The results of a simple regression analysis results of the coefficient of determination (r2) 0.066 with sig (p) 0.009 (p <0.01) and the correlation coefficient yield (r) 0.258 which shows a positive influence between the choice tendency of internet gaming disorder in players with battle royale 6.6%.

Abstract

Adolescence is known as a period of self discovery. Adolescents who can find their identity will feel more meaningful when they can connect with their social environment. However, when a teenager cannot find his identity, he will tend to withdraw from the social environment and experience a loneliness. This study aims to determine how much fear of missing out (fomo) and loneliness can have influence on the narcissistic behavior of adolescent Instagram users. The number of respondents used in this study were 164 teenagers are active users of social media Instagram. The sampling technique in this study used incidental sampling by using research instruments in the form likert scale about a narcissistic behavior scale, a fear of missing out scale, and a loneliness scale. The data analysis technique used is in the form of multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the significance value of the F test was 0.000 (p < 0.05). It can be seen that fomo and loneliness can simultaneously influence adolescents to behave narcissistically by 55.3%. Abstract

The number of universities in Java Island and the uneven quality of universities in Indonesia have resulted in the tendency of students to travel. Both academic and other adjustments, culture shock, communication difficulties can cause stress and anxiety. This also happens to first-year students who are in the stage of emerging adulthood where students will experience transitions that cause change and stress. Among the factors believed to impact academic stress levels are peer social support and resilience. The present study aimed to investigate the relationship between peer social support, resilience, and academic stress among first-year students from regional areas. The research sample consisted of 395 first-year undergraduate students (S1) from the University of Muhammadiyah Malang who originated from areas outside Greater Malang. Accidental sampling was employed as the sampling technique. The sampling technique uses accidental sampling. The research design used was correlational with spearman correlation analysis techniques and multiple correlations using SPSS 24. The results showed that the value of sig. F change of 0,142 > 0,05 means that there is no simultaneous or shared relationship between peer social support and resilience with academic stress. The implication of this study suggests that first-year regional students should actively maintain peer social support through frequent communication and engagement in campus activities to alleviate academic stress.
