Abstract

PProgram rehabilitasi pecandu narkoba yang dilakukan secara komunitas, didasarkan atas penggunaan komunikasi dalam komunitas sebagai metode terapi dan rehabilitasi. Program rehabilitasi narkoba yang dimiliki pemerintah Jawa Barat dengan berbasis rumah sakit menggunakan pelayanan metode rehabilitasi therapeutic community. Rumah Palma Therapeutic Community dijadikan sebagai pusat rujukan terapi dan rehabilitasi adiksi dalam membina pecandu narkoba bertujuan membangun kesadaran dalam diri pecandu agar membentuk perilaku yang bernilai dan sesuai dengan pemulihan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menemukan metode terapi komunikasi konselor adiksi dalam membantu pemulihan residen, dukungan keluarga pada komunikasi terapeutik konselor adiksi, dan alasan mantan pecandu yang menjadi konselor adiksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus eksplanatoris. Informan penelitian adalah konselor adiksi yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan metode terapi komunikasi yang dilakukan konselor adiksi adalah static counseling dan individual counseling. Metode terapi komunikasi tidak terlepas dari kedekatan, kenyamanan, kepercayaan diantara konselor dan residen. Penggunaan komunikasi diantara mereka ditunjukkan dengan bahasa verbal dan nonverbal. Dukungan keluarga residen ditunjukkan dengan adanya komitmen terhadap treatment pemulihan, keaktifan keluarga pada family support group dan family dialog. Alasan mantan pecandu menjadi konselor adiksi karena mereka dapat menjadi role model bagi residen dalam program pemulihan, adanya panggilan hati untuk membantu sesama pecandu, dan sebagai bentuk recovery maintainance setelah mereka selesai menjalani program pemulihan.

Abstract

This article examines the political dynamics taking place during the presidential election of Indonesia in 2024, with a focus on the transition to a new government and the potential emergence of political dynasties. It analyzes the political changes that occurred during the campaign, election, and post-election, and how these changes affected political stability and the country's policy direction. Changes in public opinion, political communication tactics used by candidates and political parties, difficulties encountered during the transition to a new government, and the potential emergence of political dynasties—a phenomenon in which political power is concentrated in the hands of families or power circles—are all included in the analysis. The research method used is qualitative research with a literature study design. The data collection technique uses secondary data from reference sources such as legal products, research articles, and journals collected from Google Scholar, Portal Garuda, and news portals such as BBC Indonesia, BBC News, Kompas.com, and Bawaslu. The literature study technique uses a traditional review. This article seeks to offer a clearer understanding of the political processes influencing the 2024 presidential election result and its consequences for Indonesia's political future by exploring these dynamics.

Abstract

People can take education from everywhere, such as formal education conducted in schools. Additionally, there is non-formal education, which can occur outside formal education, such as in courses, training institutions, study groups, and others. Continuous education involves activities that aim to enhance evolving knowledge in one's job or responsibilities, leadership training, and improving managerial skills to manage institutions, finances, facilities, and human resources. This community service activity took place in Cibodas Village, Rumpin District, Bogor Regency/City, with the aim of raising awareness among the community about the importance of continuous education to improve human resource quality. The low level of education (above 75% at the elementary education level) is a social problem in the village. This training include materials about continuous education, entrepreneurship, and digital promotional media as a form of continous education. The training was provided to 50 participants from the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) of Cibodas Village, resulting in the creation of village flagship products. Through this training, participants will become catalysts, spreading information to raise awareness in the community and improve continuous education to achieve greater well-being and quality of life.

Abstract

Ciburial Village developed an information system through social media as a medium for disseminating village information. The social media that are actively managed by Ciburial Village consist of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and Pinterest. Information management on social media brought Ciburial Village as the first winner of the Best Social Media Management in West Java at the Jabar Juara Award event in 2020. This study aims to reveal the competence of data and information literacy of ciburial village government officials and information community groups. The research method used is qualitative with case studies. The primary data collection technique is through non-participant observation, in-depth interviews, and focuses group discussions, while secondary data is obtained through literature studies of books, journals, archives or village government documents, and internet searches. The data analysis used is the Miles and Huberman model and data triangulation is carried out by triangulation of data, source, and time as a data validity technique. The results of the study show that data literacy competence is shown in the expertise of ASN and Ciburial Village Information Community Groups in activating social media to support the expansion of village information dissemination. Information needs are adjusted to the needs of the community, namely village activities and the potential of the village as a tourist village. The evaluation carried out is to evaluate the activity of the community in accessing Instagram, because there are still many people who have not fully accessed social media. Abstract

Fenomena "perang takjil," yakni idiom persaingan dalam pembagian takjil selama bulan Ramadan tahun 2024, telah menjadi topik yang menarik dalam kajian sosial dan media. Tayangan Log In pada platform Youtube yang dibawakan oleh Habib Jafar dan menghadirkan Pendeta Marcel, membahas isu toleransi dari sudut pandang agama dan sosial, dengan tujuan mengedukasi toleransi antar umat beragama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerimaan audiens terhadap pesan toleransi yang disampaikan melalui tayangan tersebut dengan mengidentifikasi aspek posisi dominan hegemonis, posisi negosiasi, dan posisi opsisi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif dengan metode analisis resepsi. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam. Wawancara dilakukan kepada 3 orang subscriber channel Log In dengan teknik penentuan informan melalui purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan mengorganisasikan data, memilah-milahnya data, mensisitensikan data, mencari dan menemukan pola, menemukan apa yang penting dan apa yang dipelajari dan memutuskan apa yang dapat diceritakan kepada orang lain. Triangulasi yang digunakan adalah triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerimaan pesan toleransi beragam, sebagian besar responden menghargai upaya tayangan dalam menyebarkan nilai-nilai toleransi, meskipun ada yang merasa pesan tersebut kurang efektif atau bahkan menimbulkan kontroversi. Faktor-faktor seperti latar belakang sosial, agama, dan pengalaman pribadi menjadi sumber interpretasi audiens. Tayangan ini diakui mampu mendorong dialog lintas agama, namun juga menuai kritik terkait potensi kesalahpahaman dan stereotip. Log In memiliki potensi tayangan yang membentuk pandangan audiens terhadap isu-isu sosial dan agama, yang bergantung pada konteks penyampaian serta sensitivitas terhadap keberagaman penonton.

Abstract

Financial Literacy, Investment, and Digital Financial Information Training at SMAS Garuda Palangka Raya. Increasingly complex economic dynamics encourage people to look for additional sources of income outside their main job. Investment has emerged as a popular alternative. However, being successful in investing is highly dependent on an individual's level of financial literacy, investment experience, and risk profile. This community service aims to increase public awareness, especially among students and teachers at SMAS Garuda Palangka Raya, who often use online shopping applications and pay-later payment schemes. The digital transactions habits among students and teachers that are not balanced with basic knowledge about financial management and investment can trigger excessive consumer behavior. With 31 participants from SMAS Garuda Palangka Raya, the team successfully trained and gave information about how to budget, manage income and also invest using a fintech application. The training evaluation concluded that participants had improved their understanding of financial management and investment. The majority of participants also understand the function of an emergency fund and have a sense of how to deal with investments with irrational levels of profit and how to deal with debt. By implementing financial management, investment, and digital financial information literacy training, the training participant will be able to develop more responsible financial behavior and avoid debt traps, and also in order to prevent high-risk financial practices, such as dependence on high-interest loans to meet consumer needs.

Abstract

Fenomena di platform TikTok khususnya akun @theoderick_ dengan konten "Sering Bosan Sama Pasangan?" menarik berbagai tanggapan di kalangan pengguna TikTok terkait masalah dalam hubungan dan interaksi sosial di era digital. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji bagaimana interaksi yang dilakukan oleh para pengguna TikTok dalam kolom komentar, serta bagaimana konten tersebut menciptakan ruang diskusi digital mengenai dinamika hubungan percintaan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi terhadap kolom komentar dan analisis konten video. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan Analisis Media Siber (AMS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kolom komentar berfungsi sebagai ruang interaksi sosial yang aktif, di mana pengguna saling berbagi pengalaman, pandangan, dan dukungan mengenai isu kebosanan dalam hubungan. Konten dari @theoderick_ tidak hanya memicu keterlibatan, tetapi juga membentuk persepsi kolektif tentang norma baru dalam menjalin hubungan di era digital. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa TikTok, sebagai platform visual dan partisipatif, berperan penting dalam membentuk komunitas virtual yang reflektif dan empatik terhadap isu-isu personal.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan anak berkebutuhan khusus sangat penting untuk menciptakan inklusi sosial dan ekonomi bagi kelompok ini. Inisiatif pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melaksanakan program pelatihan kewirausahaan dan pengelolaan keuangan untuk membantu anak berkebutuhan khusus memperoleh kemandirian, memperbaiki keadaan ekonomi, dan membangun rasa percaya diri. Metode yang digunakan dalam program pengabdian adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan intensif yang mencakup keterampilan kewirausahaan, khususnya dalam mengembangkan ide bisnis baru dan memahami pengelolaan keuangan adaptif. Kegiatan akan berlangsung di HS Learning Center yang berlokasi di Ciledek Barat, Kota Bogor. Sebanyak 20 orang mahasiswa berkebutuhan khusus mendapatkan pelatihan keterampilan praktis untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam berwirausaha dan mengelola aspek keuangan dari usaha yang akan mereka jalani. Hasil dari program ini adalah peningkatan usaha kewirausahaan dan melatih pengelolaan keuangan serta penggunaan aplikasi kasir bagi ABK, yang diharapkan dapat berdampak positif terhadap status ekonomi pribadi dan inklusi sosial anak berkebutuhan khusus. Pengabdian masyarakat ini juga menyoroti pentingnya kolaborasi berbagai pemangku kepentingan, lembaga pendidikan, dan masyarakat setempat dalam mendukung keberlanjutan program ini.

Abstract

Lobbying and negotiation skills are some of the required skills to succeed in business and social life. Conventional universities may develop their students’ skills through real-life scenarios while this could be challenging for open and distance universities which students are scattered around the world. Virtual Reality is an alternative technology that allows students to experience real-life scenarios in a simulated environment. This research aims to develop website-based Virtual Reality training to enhance learning in the business communication subject, with a specific focus on lobbying and negotiation techniques in distance education. This research adopts the Borg & Gall Research & Development (R&D) Method for educational research. This paper focuses on the preliminary stage which gathered the data required to construct a high-quality mood board and flowchart aligned with stakeholder needs to produce high-quality virtual reality training to enhance negotiation skills. Primary data is gathered through Focus Group Discussions involving students, tutors, and business communication practitioners. Additionally, secondary data is derived from extensive literature and document reviews, including relevant studies and documents. The result shows that informants are passionate about the idea of using virtual reality to enhance negotiation skills. Options of background, gender, and situation settings as well as interchangeable roleplay are preferred in boosting the motivation and enhancing the practical knowledge of negotiation skills.
