Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze about (1) the effect of the method massed practice against the speed and accuracy of service, (2) the effect of the method of distributed practice against the speed and accuracy of service and (3) the influence of methods of massed practice and distributed practice against the speed and accuracy of service. This type of research used in this research is quantitative with quasiexperimental methods. The research design uses a non-randomized control group pretest posttest design, and data analysis using Manova. The process of data collection is done by testing the speed of service (dartfish) and test accuracy (Hewitt) during the pretest and posttest. The results of the study as follows: (1) there is a significant influence on the methods of massed practice to increase the speed and accuracy of service (2) there is a significant influence on the method of distributed practice to increase the speed and accuracy of service (3) There is no significant difference influence among methods massed ptactice practice and distributed to the speed and accuracy of service. Conclusions of this research is a method massed practice and distributed practice equally provide significant results but that gives the influence of better is method distributed practice to speed and accuracy of service.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compare: (1) the effect of circuit training game and circuit ladder drill for the agility; (2) the effect of circuit training game and circuit ladder drill on speed; (3) the difference effect of circuit training game and circuit ladder drill for the speed (4) the difference effect of circuit training game and circuit ladder drill on agility. The type of this research was quantitative with quasi-experimental methods. The design of this research was Factorial Design, with analysing data using ANOVA. The process of data collection was done by using 30 meters sprint speed test and shuttle run test during the pretest and posttest. Furthermore, the data was analyzed by using SPSS 22.0 series. Result: The circuit training game exercise program and circuit ladder drill were significant to increase agility and speed (sig 0.000 < ? = 0.005) Group I, II, III had significant differences (sig 0.000 < ? = 0.005). The mean of increase in speed of group I = 0.20 seconds, group II = 0.31 seconds, and group III = 0.11 seconds. The average increase agility to group I = 0.34 seconds group II = 0.60 seconds, group III = 0.13 seconds. Based on the analysis above, it could be concluded that there was an increase in the speed and agility of each group after being given a training.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the difference between the effectiveness of Thai and Sports massage against the decrease of lactic acid and blood glucose. The research was experimental laboratoris. The results showed the initial data retrieval on lactic acid level in treatment and control group ranged between between 1.30-3.40 mmol/l of lactate. Then on lactic acid level after activities on Sport massage group was 6.01 mmol/l, whereas the thai massage group was 5.72 mmol/l, and control group was 5.18 mmol/l. whereas in lactic acid levels after 5 minutes of physical activity on a group of sport massage namely 8.36 mmol/l , a group of thai massage 7.26 mmol/l, and the control group 5.83 mmol/l. lactic acid levels and then 10 minutes of physical activity on the group after group of sport massage namely 3.81 mmol/l, a group of thai massage 4.11 mmol/l, and the control group 4.62 mmol/l. While on initial data retrieval on the blood glucose levels between 75 91 mg/dL. then in blood glucose levels after activities on a group of sport massage namely 93.50 mg/dL, while the Group of thai massage 96.12 mg/dL, and the control group 88.75 mg/dL. While in blood glucose levels after 5 minutes of physical activity on a group of sport massage i.e. namely 89.75 mg/dL, a group of thai. massage 88.25 mg/dL and a control group of 88 mg/dL. Then blood glucose after 10 minutes of physical activity on the group the Group of sport massage i.e. namely 81.12 mg/dL, a group of thai massage 83.12 mg/dL, and the control group 85.00 mg/dL. Based on the above analysis, it can be concluded that there is a decrease in the levels of blood glucose and lactic acid for each experimental and control groups group after being given the treatment of Thai Massage and Sports Massage.

Abstract

Kondisi fisik merupakan salah satu faktor penting untuk diperhatikan dalam setiap cabang olahraga untuk mencapai prestasi tertinggi. Tujuan mempersiapkan fisik dalam latihan adalah meningkatkan komponen biomotor ke standar yang paling tinggi. Kemampuan biomotor explosive power dan kecepatan merupakan komponen penting yang diperlukan disetiap cabang olahraga. Latihan plyometric seperti jump to box, front box jump dan depth jump merupakan jenis latihan yang mampu mengembangkan kemampuan bimotor tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis tentang: (1) pengaruh latihan jump to box terhadap explosive power, (2) pengaruh latihan jump to box terhadap kecepatan, (3) pengaruh latihan front box jump terhadap explosive power, (4) pengaruh latihan front box jump terhadap kecepatan, (5) pengaruh latihan depth jump terhadap explosive power, (6) pengaruh latihan depth jump terhadap kecepatan, (7) perbedaan pengaruh latihan jump to box, front box jump dan depth jump terhadap explosive power, (8) perbedaan pengaruh latihan jump to box, front box jump dan depth jump terhadap kecepatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan matching only design, analisis data menggunakan uji-t dan ANOVA. Proses pengambilan data pretest dan posttest dilakukan dengan pengukuran berat badan dan vertical jump untuk mengukur explosive power, kemudian dilakukan pengukuran lari cepat 30 meter untuk mengukur kecepatan.Hasil analisis data diperoleh data rata-rata antara pretest dan posttest masing-masing kelompok yaitu: (a) Kelompok eksperimen I untuk explosive power = 14,470 watt, sig.= 0,029 dan kecepatan = 0,035 m/second, sig = 0,001. (b) Kelompok eksperimen II untuk explosive power = 14,153 watt, sig.= 0,002 dan kecepatan = 0,035 m/second, sig = 0,000. (c) Kelompok eksperimen III untuk explosive power = 19,113 watt, sig.= 0,002 dan kecepatan = 0,048 m/second, sig = 0,000. (d) Kelompok kontrol untuk explosive power = 4,757 watt, sig.= 0,000 dan kecepatan = 0,020 m/second, sig = 0,003. Sedangkan perbedaan pengaruh antar kelompok memiliki sig. 0,040 pada explosive power sedangkan sig. 0,001 pada kecepatan. Simpulan hasil penelitian, terdapat pengaruh signifikan latihan jump to box, front box jump dan depth jump terhadap explosive power otot tungkai dan kecepatan. Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara latihan jump to box, front box jump dan depth jump terhadap explosive power otot tungkai dan kecepatan. Latihan depth jump lebih baik dari latihan jump to box dan front box jump.The physical condition is one important factor to consider in any sport to achieve the highest achievement. Interest physically prepare the exercise is to improve biomotor components to the highest standards. Biomotor ability explosive power and speed are essential components required in every sport. Plyometric exercises such as jump to box, front box jump and depth jump is a type of exercise that develops the ability bimotor. The purpose of this study is to analyze about: (1) the effects of exercise jump to box against explosive power, (2) the effects of exercise jump to box against speed, (3) the effects of exercise front box jumps on explosive power, (4) the effects of exercise front box jumps to the speed, (5) the effect exercise depth jump against explosive power, (6) the effect of exercise depth jump to the speed, (7) differences in the effects of exercise jump to box, front box jump and depth jump on explosive power, (8) differences in the effects of exercise jump to box, front box jump and depth jump to the speed. This research is a quantitative with quasi-experimental. The research design uses matching only design, data analysis using t-test and ANOVA. The process of data collection is done with a pretest and posttest weight measurements and to measure vertical jump explosive power, then measuring sprinting 30 meters to measure speed. The results of data analysis using SPSS version 20 on average between pretest and posttest each group, namely: (a) The experimental group I for explosive power = 14,470 watts, sig. = 0.029 and speed = 0,035 m / second, sig = 0.001. (b) The experimental group II for explosive power = 14,153 watts, sig. = 0.002 and velocity = 0.035 m / second, sig = 0.000. (c) The experimental group III for explosive power = 19,113 watts, sig. = 0.002 and velocity = 0.048 m / second, sig = 0.000. (d) The control group for explosive power = 4,757 watt, sig. = 0.000 and speed = 0,020 m / second, sig = 0.003. While the difference between the influence of the group had sig. 0.040 on explosive power while sig. 0.001 at speed. Conclusion The results of the study, that (1) There is a significant effect of exercise jump to box, front box jump and depth jump of leg muscle explosive power and speed. (2) There is a significant difference between the exercise jump to box, front box jump and depth jump of leg muscle explosive power and speed.Exercise depth jump better than exercise jump to box and front box jump.

Abstract

Abstrak Lempar cakram merupakan salah satu nomor lapangan di cabang olahraga atleti. Nomor lempar cakram termasuk nomor lempar yang sulit dan sampai saat ini perkembangannya di Indonesia sulit mengalami peningkatan dalam waktu yang singkat. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian mengenai kekuatan otot lengan, kekuatan otot perut, daya ledak otot tungkai dan antropometri pada prestasi lempar cakram supaya dapat dijadikan acuan dalam pembibitan dan program latihan untuk meningkatkan prestasi lempar cakram. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan statistik deskriptif kuantitatif. Sedangkan pengambilan data dilakukan dengan melakukan ters push up, sit up, vertical jump, pengukuran tinggi badan dan berat badan,serta lempar cakram. Hasil penelitian terhadap kontribusi kekuatan otot lengan terhadap prestasi lempar cakram sebesar 22,2%, kontribusi kekuatan otot perut terhadap prestasi lempar cakram sebesar 53,3%, kontribusi daya ledak otot tungkai terhadap prestasi lempar cakram 11%, kontribusi tinggi badan terhadap lempar cakram 77,8%, kontribusi berat bdan terhadap prestasi lempar cakram 26,4%.Simpulan penelitian adalah kekuatan otot lengan, kekuatan otot perut, daya ledak otot tungkai, memberikan kontribusi yang tidak sigifikan terhadap prestasi lempar cakram.variabel tinggi badan memberikan kontribusi yang paling besar terhadap prestasi lempar cakram, dan selanjutnya diikuti kekuatan otot perut, berat badan, kekuatan otot lengan, dan daya ledak otot tungkai. Kata Kunci: kekuatan otot lengan, kekeuatan otot perut, daya ledak otot tungkai, antropometri, tinggi badan, berat badan, lempar cakram, atletik. Abstract Discus throw is one of field number in athletics. Discus throw is one of hardest in throwing and until now in Indonesia, discus-throwing achievement was hard to escalate in a short time. Therefore, the research concerning arm muscle strength, abdominal strength, power of leg muscle, and anthropometry was conducted to be used as reference in regeneration and in training program in the near future in order to escalate the achievement of discus throwing. The method was using quantitative descriptive statistics. The data report was done using push up, sit up, vertical jump, body height measurement, body weight measurement, and discus throwing. The result show that in arm muscle strength contribution toward discus throwing achievement is 22,2%, abdominal muscle strength contribution toward discus throwing achievement is 53,3%, power of leg contribution toward discus throwing achievement as 11%, and body height contribution toward discus throwing achievement as 77,8%, and body weight contribution toward Ddiscus throwing achievement 26,4%. The conclusion of this research was arm muscle strength, abdominal muscle strength, power of leg muscle did not give any significant contribution towards discus throwing achievement. The most significant contribution toward discus throwing achievement was body height, followed by abdominal muscle strength, body weight, arm muscle strength, and power of leg muscle. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pembinaan club atletik PT Petrokimia Gresik dengan cara mengetahui struktur organisasi, rekrutmen atlet, pelatih, dan asisten pelatih, sarana dan prasarana, pendanaan, dan prestasi. Sasarana penelitian ini adalah club atletik PT Petrokimia Gresik yang meliputi: pengurus, pelatih, asisten pelatih, atlet, dan wali atlet. Analisis yang digunakan bersifat kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah SWOT (strength, weakness, opportunity, threat). Sumber data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dengan pengurus, pelatih, asisten pelatih, atlet, dan orang tua wali atlet club atletik PT Petrokimia Gresik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dapat diketahui, (1) kekuatan (strength) meliputi: sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, memiliki pelatih berlisensi IAAF, (2) kelemahan (weakness) meliputi: kurang adanya kaderisasi atlet karena minimnya event yang diadakan, kurangnya motivasi atlet untuk berprestasi, kurangnya minat berlatih atlet, pembinaan yang berdiri sendiri oleh perusahaan, (3) peluang (opportunity) meliputi: pembinaan yang mendukung atlet untuk event kejuaraan hingga tingkat internasional, peluang mencetak atlet yang berprestasi dengan pembibitan atlet yang lebih baik, peluang meraih prestasi yang lebih baik, (4) ancaman (threat) meliputi: latihan atlet yang tidak rutin, kurangnya pengawasan pengurus terhadap atlet dan pelatihKata Kunci : Biomekanika, Tolak peluru

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze about: (1) the effect of slaloms ladder drill exercises on speed and agility; (2) the effect of carioca ladder drill training on speed and agility; (3) the difference between the effect of the Carioca ladder drill and the Carioca ladder drill on speed; (4) differences in the influence of carioca ladder drill and carioca ladder drill on agility. This type of research is quantitative with quasi-experimental methods. The research design used is maching only design and data analysis using t-test and ANOVA. Retrieval of data using a sprint 30 meters to measure speed and agility t-test to measure agility at the time of the pretest and posttest. The results showed that the difference between the pretest and posttest of each group were: (1) experimental group I for speed = 0.577 and agility = 0.663 (2) experimental group II for speed = 0.81 and agility = 0.757 (3) control group for speed = 0.122 and (4) control group for agility = 0.029. Based on the above analysis, it can be concluded that there is an increase in speed and agility for each group after being given the Ladoca drill ladder drill and carioca ladder drill seen from the t-test. In addition, through the ANOVA test, there are differences in speed in the two types of exercise. Carioca drill ladder increases speed compared to slaloms. While in agility there is no difference between ladder drill slaloms and carioca, but both groups have a better influence than the control group.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to analyze  (a) anthropometric factor as multivariant regression model to predict the serves velocities of elite tennis player that compete in Roland Garros 2017.  The athropometric factor was describe as, player height, player weight, age, and the Body Mass Index (BMI) of player. (b) this study also determind the significant level from the model to predict the serves speed. The data were collected from MATCH DETAILS BY IBM SLAMTRACKER.  Results show that correlation between each independent variable (i.e, age, height, weight, BMI) to serves speed of the player respectively are -0.0094, 0.7457, 0.7135, and 0.1944. The data show us that variable Height and Weight have the most correlated predictors of tennis serves speed. More over the correlation level  (R2) from the model was 0.5767 or 57.67 % it indicate that the model can predict 57.67% the dependent variable, i.e serve speed and the other 42.33% was determind by the other factor not included in model. The present finding underline the importance of player height and weight to determind   the serves speed of the players that play in Roland Garros 2017.

Abstract

Peningkatan suhu lingkungan berpengaruh terhadap performa tubuh pada saat melakukan aktifitas olahraga. Suhu lingkungan yang terlalu rendah (10 o+1 oC) dan terlalu tinggi (37 oC) mampu meningkatkan kadar asam laktat lebih tinggi, serta proses oxygen intake (VO2Max) yang kurang optimal. Pada suhu ruangan tinggi, tubuh mengalami peningkatan suhu tubuh lebih tinggi dan dan tekanan terhadap kardiovaskuler lebih tinggi sehingga mengakibatkan proses dehidrasi lebih tinggi sebagai bentuk perlawanan terhadap peningkatan suhu tersebut. Proses review dilakukan untuk mengetahui dari berbagai sumber dan mengumpulkan data-data yang memiliki keterkaitan dengan kondisi lingkungan dan tubuh saat latihan. Indikator yang banyak disebut dalam penelitian ialah kondisi kandungan pada cairan ludah, suhu tubuh, komposisi cairan tubuh dan tingkatan kandungan asam laktat. Suhu lingkungan optimal yang dianjurkan pada saat melakukan aktifitas olahraga yaitu berada pada kisaran 20 o-23o Celcius.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh yang diberikan oleh dua jenis latihan tuck jump dan barrier terhadap power dan kekuatan otot tungkai. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu rancangan penelitian Non Equivalent (pre test and post test) control group design. Kelompok pertama merupakan kelompok yang mendapatkan perlakuan berupa latihan barrier. Kelompok kedua merupakan kelompok yang mendapatkan perlakuan berupa latihan tuck jump kelompok ketiga adalah kelompok yang tidak mendapat perlakuan apapun. Terdapat tiga tahapan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu pre-tes, perlakuan, dan pos-tes. Waktu penelitian yang digunakan adalah selama enam Minggu. Syarat uji hipotesis adalah variansi dan homogen. Pada variable power otot tungkai memiliki signifkan 0,006 pada kelompok Barrier dan 0,001 pada Tuck jump. Kedua latihan juga memiliki perbedaan pengaruh terhadap power otot tungkai (0,034) dan kekuatan otot tungkai (0,031). Hasil penelitian ini memberikan kesimpulan bahwa latihan barrier dan tuck jump memberikan pengaruh, baik terhadap power otot tungkai maupun kekuatan otot tungkai. Pengaruh yang diberikan dari kedua jenis latihan juga berbeda.
