Abstract

Hasil observasi di Puskesmas Adimulyo Desa Meles, Didapatkan 8 orang suami dari ibu hamil tidak pernah mengikuti kelas ibu hamil. Faktor penyebabnya salah satunya adalah kesibukan pekerjaan sehingga suami tidak dapat mengikuti kelas ibu hamil. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk Mengetahui faktor pengetahuan, Sikap, dan dukungan tenaga kesehatan yang mempengaruhi partisipasi suami dalam kelas ibu hamil. Jenis Penelitian ini analitik korelasi menggunakan Uji Spearman Rank. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh suami dari ibu hamil di Puskesmas Adimulyo pada bulan Februari tahun 2023 berjumlah 184 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Uji normalitas dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji Shapiro wilk dengan hasil ρ value 0,000. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan partisipasi suami dalam kelas ibu, Tidak ada hubungan antara sikap dengan partisipasi suami dalam kelas ibu, Tidak ada hubungan antara dukungan tenaga kesehatan dengan partisipasi suami dalam kelas ibu hamil. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap, minat, dan partisipasi suami dalam kelas ibu hamil, dalam mengikuti kelas ibu hamil.

Abstract

Remaja mempunyai peran penting dalam masyarakat. Tiga beban gizi yang dihadapi remaja Indonesia yaitu malnutrisi, kelebihan gizi, dan kekurangan gizi mikro akan mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi negara serta menghambat kemajuan dalam mencapai tujuan pembangunan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat "Peer Learning: Remaja Sadar Gizi di Desa Bojong" bertujuan untuk menguatkan peran remaja dalam meningkatkan status gizi remaja sehingga terwujud generasi penerus bangsa yang sehat dan berkualitas. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan menguatkan peran remaja sebagai kader Posyandu Remaja melalui kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa peningkatan pengetahuan kader Posyandu Remaja "CERDIK" tentang Gizi Remaja, buku "Gizi Remaja" yang telah mendapatkan sertifikat Hak Cipta dan bentuk kerjasama antara Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang dengan Pemerintah Desa Bojong sebagai Mitra PUI P2PTM "Desa Sehat Remaja Bebas Anemia Gizi Besi". Kegiatan pembinaan kader dan pemantauan kegiatan posyandu remaja sebaiknya dilakukan secara berkesinambungan baik oleh bidan desa maupun petugas promosi kesehatan di puskesmas serta perangkat desa dan PLKB Desa Bojong.

Abstract

Introduction: Antenatal education is essential to reducing maternal mortality. However, limited access and time constraints reduce participation in conventional pregnancy classes. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a hybrid antenatal education model in improving pregnant women's knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) regarding maternal care. Methods: A quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group design was conducted among 60 pregnant women in Magelang, Indonesia, from April to July 2024. Participants were randomly assigned to either a hybrid intervention group or a conventional care group. Data were collected at three time points and analyzed using Paired T-Tests, Independent T-Tests, and GLM-Repeated Measures. Results: The intervention group showed significant improvements in knowledge, attitudes, and practices (p< .005). The effect size was strongest for knowledge (Partial Eta Squared ?²=0.783). Age was identified as a confounding factor affecting practice (p=0.008). Conclusion: The hybrid antenatal education model significantly enhances maternal health behaviors, particularly knowledge, and provides a sustainable educational strategy. It is recommended for broader implementation in urban healthcare settings to improve antenatal care engagement and outcomes.

Abstract

Pregnancy is an important transition period in the biochemical, physiological and anatomical changes of the female body. Prenatal Class as a forum for pregnant women and their families to obtain information together and learn about maternal and child health as the main social support during pregnancy. Men who feel unprepared for fatherhood tend to be fathers who are not involved early, resulting in a difficult transition into parenthood, less likely to become committed fathers. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the low participation of husbands in the Prenatal Class. This type of research is analytic research with a cross sectional approach. Population of husbands of pregnant women class participants in the city of Magelang. The sample in this study used the cross-sectional sample size formula and obtained a total sample of 48 people, taken using purposive sampling using a questionnaire instrument. Statistical analysis with Spearman Rho correlation test. Interpretation of statistical test results is based on the p value, the strength and direction of the correlation. The results of the analysis in testing the hypothesis by looking at the significance value, there is a significant influence on the factors of education (0.000), employment (0.000), socialization (0.009) and there is no effect of age (0.774), number of pregnancies (0.494) on husband's participation in class pregnant mother. Factors of education, employment, and socialization affect participation, while age, number of pregnancies do not affect husband's participation in classes for pregnant women.

Abstract

Background: Pregnancy involved physical, emotional, and social changes, making spousal support crucial in reducing stress, anxiety, and improving maternal quality of life. However, participation of mothers and husbands in prenatal classes in Indonesia remained low. A hybrid education model (online and face-to-face) had the potential to address these limitations.Objective: This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of a digital-based hybrid companion class on improving the quality of life of pregnant women in Magelang City.Methods: This was a quasi-experimental study with a non-randomized pretest-posttest with control group design. The sample consisted of 60 couples of reproductive age (30 intervention, 30 control) selected through simple random sampling. The hybrid class intervention included modules, educational videos, and mentoring through WhatsApp, conducted in four sessions. Quality of life was measured using WHOQOL-BREF at three time points and analyzed with GLM-RM.Results: The intervention significantly improved the quality of life of pregnant women in the psychological domain (p = 0.001; η² = 69.3%), social domain (p = 0.021; η² = 34.2%), and environmental domain (p = 0.001; η² = 65.7%), while the physical domain was not significant (p = 0.510).Conclusion: The digital-based hybrid companion class was effective in improving the quality of life of pregnant women in psychological, social, and environmental aspects. Integration of the program into antenatal services was recommended to enhance the role of husbands in pregnancy care.
