Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rekrutmen guru Pelayanan Anak dan Remaja (PAR) yang belum terstandarisasi. Seseorang diterima menjadi guru PAR hanya harena kerelaan untuk menjadi guru PAR tanpa memperhatikan tingkat pendidikan orang tersebut. Hal ini berdampak pada tingkat pendidikan guru PAR yang beragam mulai dari yang tidak bersekolah, SD, SMP, SMA dan ada beberapa yang lulusan sarjana. Tempat pelaksanaan kegiatan ini yaitu Klasis Teluk Kabola Alor. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru PAR di Klasis Teluk Kabola. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh perwakilan guru PAR yang ada di Klasis Teluk Kabolaberjumlah 40 orang. Metode penyampaian materi berupa ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi dan praktek pembuatan silabus pembelajaran. Dengan mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan ini, kompetensi guru PAR di klasis Teluk Kabola meningkat dan berdampak pada pengajarannya. Dengan pengajaran setiap minggu yang terencana lewat silabus yang dikerjakan diharapkan pengajarannyapun semakin baik.

Abstract

Community service activities are wrapped in the form of workshops based on digital learning and evaluation which is utilizing applications connected to the internet network. The purpose of this Community Service Activity (CSA) is to provide training and enhance teachers' understanding of learning management, specifically digital-based learning evaluation, at Junior High School (JSC) 1 Amfoang Center. The activity spans 2 days, involving 3 speakers who deliver materials and training to 14 teachers. The CSA implementation method includes presenting content on learning management, digital-based learning management, and digital-based learning evaluation. It also includes practical exercises in digital-based learning evaluation using the Slido platform, a website that facilitates interactive online discussions. The outcome of this workshop indicates that teachers gain knowledge and skills in conducting digital-based evaluations for mid-term exams and final semester exams using the Slido application.

Abstract

The Decreasing of public interest about the underdeveloped GMIT schools resulting in a decrease of interest continuing education. GMIT schools think of strategic steps to increase the competitiveness of institutions their education. The purpose of this is to analyze the strategic management of GMIT Elementary School in Lobalain District which was conducted to increase the schools’ competitiveness. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The subjects in this study consist of 18 respondents consisting of 1 Principal and 2 teachers from each GMIT Elementary School in Lobalain District. The data collection techniques used is observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques that used are Analysis Interactive which is divided into 4 parts, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that strategic management has been implemented by school principals according to the implementation stages strategic management, namely observation, strategy formulation/strategy planning, implementation strategy, evaluation and control or supervision. This is done according to the conditions in each school. Efforts to increase the competitiveness of GMIT Elementary School in Lobalain District carried out in the form of observations in the internal and external environment to find out the strengths and the weaknesses of schools, preparing short-term and long-term work programs, implementing work programs and conducting regular evaluations.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the decline in the number of applicants at Christian Junior High School (CJHS) 1 Amanuban Timur in the last three years, namely from 110 students (2022) to 94 students (2023), and 71 students (2024). This condition encourages the need for appropriate marketing management strategies to increase public interest. The purpose of this study is to describe how school marketing management is implemented through planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The research informants consisted of three subjects: the principal, vice principal, and public relations officer. Data were analyzed through systematic reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that marketing management at CJHS 1 Amanuban Timur includes four functions, namely planning: marketing management has been carried out through meetings with the school and committee, preparation of work programs, and promotional strategies such as creating brochures, banners, social media, and socialization to elementary schools. The organization of Admision of New Students is carried out by forming a committee based on the Principal's Decree and is equipped with a description of the duties of each section. Promotional activities were implemented in a varied manner. Control was provided through direct supervision by the principal and vice principal. The conclusion was that marketing management was functioning effectively, but strategic innovation, the development of internal technical guidelines, and evaluation instruments were still needed to increase enrollment interest more effectively.
