Abstract

Penelitian ini bentujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) Pengaruh reward terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. X, (2) Pengaruh punishment terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. X, (3) Pengaruh reward dan punishment terhadap kinerja karyawan secara simultan. Jenis penelitian ini berupa kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan sampel menggunakan simpel random sampling, sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 44 karyawan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa reward berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan secara parsial dengan nilai signifikan 0,045 0,05, punishment berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan secara parsial dengan nilai signifikan 0,00 0,05, dan reward dan punishment berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan terhadap kinerja karyawan secara simultan dengan nilai signifikan 0,00 0,05.

Abstract

The purpose of the study  knowing the interest of the young generation in the organic agriculture field, its effect on the development of organic rice cultivation in Ngemplak Subdistrict, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region which was held from May to August 2020 in Widodomartani Village. The location was determined purposively because it has organic farmer groups and livestock groups. The samples were determined purposively, namely the young generation aged 16-35 years. Sampling was selected by simple random sampling. Determination of the number of samples using the Slovin formula. Data analysis was performed by qualitative descriptive analysis, the results of which were presented in tabulated form. To measure the interest of the young generation, measured using the Likert Scale Technique. From the analysis, it is known that the young generation's interest in organic farming is classified as less interested in the agroinput sub-system with an average score of 2.45 (61.25%), the cultivation sub-system with an average score of 2.27 (61.82%). ) and the marketing sub-system with an average score of 2.46 (61.47%). This is because they consider agriculture to be a job that is not promising and dirty and tiring so that the number of organic farmers in Widodomartani Village has not increased, even though organic rice production has increased since 2017. The efforts and roles of related parties such as government, businessmen, private sector and organic practitioners are very much  needed to attract young people to engage in organic agriculture.

Abstract

This study aimed to determining the effect of potassium hydroxide solution concentration, soaking time, and the interaction of the two on the breaking dormancy of prospective rice seeds (Oryza sativa L.). The research was conducted in February to April at the Seed Laboratory of Polbangtan Yogyakarta, Magelang, and the UPTD of the Barongan Agricultural Seed Center, Bantul Regency. This study was a factorial experiment (3 x 3) + 1 control arranged in a completely randomized design. Factor I in the form of potassium hydroxide concentration with 3 treatment levels and factor II in the form of soaking time with 3 treatment levels. In total there were 9 treatment combinations with one control which was repeated 3 times. The variables observed included maximum growth potential, germination capacity, growth speed, and growth simultaneously. Observational data were analyzed using variance (ANOVA) and if it was known that there was a significant effect, it was continued using the 5% DMRT test. The results showed that a concentration of 0.1% gave more optimal results in increasing maximum growth potential, germination, growth speed, and growing simultaneously. The immersion time On the other hand, the 36 hours showed more optimal results in increasing maximum growth potential, germination, growth speed, and growing simultaneously. Meanwhile, the best treatment combination was the combination of 0.1 potassium hydroxide solution concentration and 36 hours of soaking time which could increase the maximum growth potential, germination, and simultaneous growth of the Ciherang variety of rice seed candidates.

Abstract

Supporting factors for the success of rice planting include seed availability in sufficient quantities, high quality, and availability when needed. Conventional rice seed viability testing generally takes quite a long time, around 14 days. Therefore, it is necessary to develop several methods for quickly testing seed viability. This research aims to determine the coloring pattern of rice seeds, differences in viability tested with 0.25% tetrazolium concentration, and the relationship between the viability values of seeds tested for sprouting and those tested with 0.25% tetrazolium. This research was carried out from March to May 2023 at the Laboratory of the Central Java Seed Supervision and Certification Center. The treatments used were tests using the direct sprout test (rolled paper in plastic test) and the 0.25% concentration tetrazolium test method. The seeds used were seeds with different storage times (0, 1, 2, and 3 months) to obtain variations in seed vigor. The data obtained were analyzed using visual and descriptive analysis, t-test, and correlation analysis. The results showed that the tetrazolium test with a concentration of 0.25% on Inpari 42 rice seeds produced seven coloring patterns grouped into four viable seed and three non-viable seed coloring patterns. The 0.25% concentration tetrazolium test showed that the results had no significant effect and were closely related the results of the direct germination test so the rapid test could be used as a substitute for the (conventional) germination test on a wide scale.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis respon peternak terhadap penyuluhan pemeliharaan kambing dengan sistem kandang panggung dan faktor-faktor respon yang berpengaruh. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2022 di Desa Medani Kecamatan Cluwak Kabupaten Pati. Sampel yang digunakan sejumlah 33 peternak dengan metode purposive sampling dengan kriteria peternak yang belum memiliki kandang kambing sistem panggung di Desa Medani. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi dan kuisioner, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan perilaku peternak sebesar 9,37 poin dalam pemeliharaan kambing dengan sistem kandang panggung setelah mendapatkan penyuluhan yang ditunjukkan dari nilai perilaku peternak pada pretest sebesar 26,15 termasuk kategori sedang dan pada posttest mengalami kenaikan menjadi 35,76 termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Secara parsial faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku peternak dalam pemeliharaan kambing dengan sistem kandang panggung adalah variabel tingkat pendidikan dan aktivitas mengikuti pelatihan penyuluhan, sedangkan variabel umur, jumlah ternak, pengalaman beternak, luas kepemilikan lahan, dan tanggungan keluarga tidak berpengaruh signifikan.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the characteristics of 18 promising cucumber plant lines to determine the best candidates in 18 promising cucumber plant lines. This study was conducted from August 2024 to May 2025 at CV Ever Fresh Land located in Kediri, East Java. This study used a Non-Factorial Randomized Block Design by comparing 18 internal hybrid promising lines, each of which was evaluated using the hybrid varieties Cordova F1, Batara F1 and Zatavy F1 as controls. This study was conducted with a morphological characteristic study approach based on qualitative characters. Qualitative data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that there were the best promising line candidates selected based on characteristic analysis through qualitative character observations. The best candidate selected based on these criteria was the promising line 5480. The promising line 5480 has the advantage of qualitative character of dark green fruit color, namely Dark Green (RHS 137 A) and a sweet/not bitter taste

Abstract

The availability of quality melon seeds is often constrained by the physiological nature of dormancy that appears after the harvest process. Dormancy breaking carried out by the seed industry has so far not been fully effective in ensuring timely seed availability. Therefore, this study is needed to develop a more efficient and applicable dormancy breaking method on an industrial scale. This study aims to determine the effect of various concentrations and duration of soaking of gibberellin (GA3) solution on dormancy breaking of melon (Cucumis melo L.) ME 515 variety seeds. The study was conducted at CV Everfresh and continued at the Polbangtan Yoma Seed Technology Laboratory. This study used a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 10 treatments. The concentration of gibberellin solution consisting of G0 (aquades), G1 (2.5%), G2 (5%), and G3 (7.5%). Duration of soaking; (P0) dipped, (P1) soaked for 30 minutes, and (P2) soaked for 60 minutes. Observation variables: germination power, maximum growth potential, growth speed, growth simultaneity, shoot length, and root length. The results of this study indicate that gibberellin treatment is able to break dormancy faster and improve the growth performance of melon seeds of ME 515 variety in the observation variables of growth simultaneity, shoot length, and root length.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of mycorrhizal dosing and phosphorus fertilization on the productivity and physiological quality of the long bean Hope line. The research was carried out using a factorial randomized block design (RAK) consisting of two factors, namely mycorrhizal dose (0, 5, and 10 g/plant) and phosphorus fertilization dose (0, 10, and 20 g/plant), which was repeated three times. The parameters observed consisted of the number of flowers per plant, the average number of fruit bunches, the dry weight of the pods, the water content and the germination capacity. Data analysis was carried out using variance analysis (ANOVA) at the 5% level, and if there was a real effect, it was continued with the least significant difference test (DMRT) at the 5% level. The research results showed that the combination of mycorrhizal doses at the level of 10 g/plant and phosphorus fertilizer at the level of 20 g/plant gave positive results in increasing growth, yield and physiological quality of plants. Thus, the integrated application of mycorrhiza and phosphorus can be an effective innovation and strategy to increase the productivity of long bean hope lines.

Abstract

Cucumber is a type of fruit that is fleshy, juicy, and produces seeds that have a mucous membrane (pulp), so it becomes an obstacle in seed production. The wet extraction method on seeds that have mucus (pulp) can be done by soaking in hydrochloric acid (HCl) solution. This study aims to: 1) Determine the effect of HCl concentration on the quality of Tirta cucumber seeds. 2) Determine the effect of HCl soaking time on the quality of Tirta cucumber seeds. 3) Determine the interaction of HCl concentration and soaking time on the quality of Tirta cucumber seeds. The research was conducted at the Seed Technology Laboratory of the Yogyakarta-Magelang Agricultural Development Polytechnic, Umbulharjo, Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The implementation of the final project research will be carried out in December 2024 - May 2025. This research was conducted with a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) research design, namely using 2 factors. The first factor is concentration with 3 levels of treatment and the second factor is soaking time with 3 levels of treatment. Observation variables in this study include: water content, germination power, maximum growth potential, growth simultaneity, growth speed. The results of this study indicate that the extraction method using HCL has a significant effect on the variables of water content, germination power, maximum growth potential, and growth simultaneity.

Abstract

Revolusi industri 4.0 yang saat ini tengah berlangsung memiliki pengaruh besar dalam mengubah perilaku pasar termasuk pasar perbenihan hortikuktura. Dimana saat ini konsumen cenderung lebih menyukai pembelian segala sesuatu melalui online dibandingkan offline. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal pemasaran melalui e-commerce Shopee CV Multi Global Agrindo dan merumuskan strategi serta menyusun urutan prioritas strategi pemasaran melalui e-commerce Shopee untuk meningkatkan penjualan benih hortikultura di CV Multi Global Agrindo. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriprif dengan pengambilan sampel berupa teknik sensus pada responden tim marketing CV MGA sebagai responden utama dan snowball sampling pada responden konsumen Shopee benih hortikultura CV MGA sebagai responden pendukung, dengan jumlah responden utama sebanyak 3 responden dan jumlah responden pendukung sebanyak 55 responden. Analisa data yang digunakan berupa Analisa SWOT yang mencakup matriks IFAS-EFAS di dalamnya, serta menggunakan Analisa QSPM. Analisa IFAS-EFAS menunjukkan bahwa CV MGA berada pada kuadran 1, dimana kuadran tersebut berarti bahwa perusahaan memiliki kekuatan yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk meraih peluang yang ada. Analisa SWOT menghasilkan sebelas rumusan strategi pemasaran baru, selanjutnya pada analisa QSPM menghasilkan tiga rumusan strategi terbaik yaitu setelah mengirimkan produk, perusahaan perlu mengingatkan konsumen untuk memberi ulasan kepuasan pada akun Shopee CV MGA, perusahaan perlu melakukan cek berulang terhadap transaksi yang dilakukan oleh calon konsumen untuk mengurangi resiko kecurangan konsumen, utamanya pada pilihan metode pembayaran secara COD, dan terakhir melakukan promosi dengan memasang iklan berbayar di Shopee.
