Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang mengarah kepada otomatisasi menjadikan penelitian di bidang robot semakin berkembang. Sensor kamera pada robot yang berfungsi untuk mendeteksi objek digunakan sebagai salah satu input untuk proses otomatisasi. Salah satu teknik pengontrolan yang sedang berkembang adalah sistem kendali berbasis logika fuzzy. Sistem kendali ini bekerja berdasarkan kebiasaan yang diwujudkan dalam bentuk aturan-aturan dan tidak membutuhkan model matematis suatu sistem. Sistem kendali ini telah diterapkan pada robot dengan sensor kamera. Penelitian ini membahas tentang perancangan dan implementasi kendali logika fuzzy pada sebuah sistem kamera penjejak objek. Sistem kendali yang dibuat merupakan kendali loop tertutup yang diimplementasikan dengan bahasa pemograman Visual Studio 2005 (VB.NET). Sebagai input galat digunakan tangkapan piksel benda yang tidak berada pada titik tengah kamera. Output dari sistem ini akan menggerakkan motor dan perubahan pixel akan menjadi sinyal umpan balik ke pengendali. Dengan menggunakan analisa kestabilan Routh untuk hasil pengujian maka diperoleh bahwa sistem dapat mencapai kestabilan, dengan galat piksel 0.09% untuk galat awal besar, 0.31% untuk galat awal sedang dan 0.41% untuk galat awal kecil.

Abstract

Energi listrik adalah salah satu kebutuhan utama bagi usaha pertanian hidroponik. Mereka butuh untuk mengalirkan nutrisi tanaman melalui air secara terus-menerus menggunakan pompa. Jika sumber energi listrik terputus, maka akan menyebabkan tanaman tidak tumbuh sempurna. Oleh karena itu, pada kegiatan ini dilakukan penerapan sel surya sebagai energi listrik alternatif pada mitra pengabdian Alfi Hidroponik. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan merancang kebutuhan sel surya pada usaha hidroponik. Batrai Aki 40 Ah dapat menjadi sumber energi listrik bagi usaha mitra yang kebutuhan dayanya 85 watt selama minimal 10 jam. Selain penerapan sel surya, pada pengabdian ini juga dikembangkan beberapa sensor untuk memonitor suhu dan kelembaban lahan pertahian. Kegiatan ini dapat menjawab kebutuhan mitra dan masih diperlukan penerapan teknologi lainnya pada usaha hidroponik untuk optimalisasi produksi mitra.

Abstract

Artificial Neural Networks use high-performance computing and big data technology, opportunities for science to create new opportunities in agriculture. The purpose of writing this article is to analyze the use of artificial neural networks on (a) plant diseases based on plant leaf diseases, (b) plant pests, (c) growth or quality, and (d) agricultural products. The writing method used is a literature study of the research that has been done. The keywords used in the search for references include ANN, plant, diseases, pests, growth or quality, and agricultural products. Publishers for the reference in this article are ScienceDirect and IEEE. The years of publication of the references are restricted from 2015 to 2022. Based on the literature study results, it was concluded that Artificial Neural Networks' deep learning models are accurate for detecting and classifying leaf diseases and pests, detecting growth, and application to agricultural plant products.

Abstract

Installation of PV capacity that exceeds the demand of the distribution system can produce large currents that exceed the thermal rating of the electrical components and can cause export power to high voltage levels. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to obtain the PV hosting capacity of the Adinegoro feeder and to determine the voltage profile and power loss after installation of the PV. The research method is using power flow simulation with ETAP 12.6. The PV hosting capacity calculations of the Adinegoro feeder are carried out in six locations, i.e. five locations on the secondary network and one location on the primary network. The PV capacities are continuously increased until the receiving power from the grid reaches zero or no export power from the lower voltage level to higher voltage level. From the simulation results, it is obtained that the PV hosting capacity on secondary networks, is equal to 100% of the local load. While for the primary network, the maximum PV hosting capacity is 4400 kW. The installation of PV to the Adinegoro feeder can increase the voltage profile and reduce power losses in the system.

Abstract

Replacement with natural esters (retrofilling) is an alternative solution to extend the life expectancy of an oil-filled transformer containing mineral oil. During the retro-filling process, some portions of the mineral oil remain inside the transformer's tank, forming a mixture between the used mineral oil and the new vegetable oil. In this investigation, methyl ester was mixed with a relatively low percentage of mineral oil to simulate the retro-filling process. The aim is to examine the characteristics of a mixture of mineral and vegetable oils under thermal aging. Thermal aging treatments were carried out at 120°C for 28 days and 140°C for 14 days. Kraft paper and copper wire were incorporated during the aging test. After thermal aging, the characteristics of the oil mixture were evaluated based on electrical, physical, and chemical characteristics. The result shows that physical and chemical characteristics are significantly influenced by the increase in mineral oil content and the temperature of thermal aging. However, the breakdown voltage increased after thermal aging, but at a higher temperature, the breakdown voltage dropped as the mineral oil content increased.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) oleh Kelompok Bidang Keahlian (KBK) Telekomunikasi, Departemen Teknik Elektro, Fakultas Teknik Universitas Andalas dilaksanakan dengan tujuan mendukung peningkatan kualitas syiar Islam melalui pemanfaatan teknologi multimedia di Mushalla Al-Mahira, Kelurahan Aie Pacah. Program yang dilaksanakan pada 22 November 2025 ini berfokus pada penyediaan dan pengenalan perangkat teknologi, terutama sistem audio dan multimedia, sebagai sarana pendukung dakwah yang lebih efektif dan menarik. Kegiatan dipimpin oleh Baharuddin, MT, dengan dukungan Ketua Program Studi Teknik Elektro, Dr. Eng. Primas Emiraldi, serta partisipasi dosen KBK Telekomunikasi lainnya. Tim PkM memberikan perangkat sound system serta satu unit vacuum cleaner sebagai upaya peningkatan fasilitas mushalla, sekaligus memberikan pelatihan penggunaan perangkat agar dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi multimedia mampu meningkatkan kualitas penyampaian materi dakwah, memperbaiki kenyamanan jamaah, dan memperkuat kapasitas pengurus mushalla dalam pengelolaan sarana ibadah. Program ini menegaskan peran penting perguruan tinggi dalam transfer teknologi kepada masyarakat sebagai bagian dari pelaksanaan tridarma akademik.
