Abstract

Teaching is a profession that demands special abilities and expertise obtained by certain education and training in its field. Profession can only be said if the teacher has met the requirements as a profession, then the teacher can be classified as a profession. Teachers have a huge responsibility and have a direct influence on the achievement of educational goals. Becoming a professional teacher is not easy. A teacher must have and give dedication to this work. If not, then the purpose of education which is closely related to the formation of the quality of human resources will not be achieved. The teaching profession is required to be able to work optimally in educating students so that education does not fail. Teacher professionalism can improve academic education and student character. Professional teachers are teachers who want to prioritize the quality and quality of their services and products, teacher services must meet standards such as personality competencies, managerial competencies, entrepreneurial competencies, supervisory competencies, and social competencies. As well as maximizing the ability of students based on the potential and skills possessed by each individual to become better. The purpose of this study is to identify and examine: 1) teacher professional development strategies 2) the role of professional educators in academic development and student character 3) professional educator performance.

Abstract

Supervisi pendidikan memegang peranan yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas saat belajar di sekolah. Tujuan dari pengawasan adalah untuk memfasilitasi penerimaan menyelesaikan setiap program pelatihan sesuai dengan standar yang berlaku ditetapkan dengan mempertimbangkan pencapaian tujuan berdasarkan pelaksanaannya dilapangan untuk melakukan pelatihan yang membutuhkan jaminan kualitas, yang tujuannya merupakan memenuhi atau melampaui standar pendidikan Nasional. Di mana siswa bisa mendapatkan layanan sekolah yang berkualitas tinggi di semua lembaga bisa disebut sebagai layanan pembelajaran berkualitas tinggi. Untuk mencapai pendidikan yang berkualitas membutuhkan guru yang profesional, berkualitas dan kompeten serta memiliki kualifikasi pemantauan pendidikan guna dapat meningkatkan kualitas saat belajar di sekolah. Maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran supervisi pendidikan terhadap peningkatan mutu belajar dan mengajar.

Abstract

Suatu perencanaan dilakukan dengan mengetahui kebutuhan sekolah itu terlebih dahulu sehingga pembuatan pembelajaran tersebut dapat dilaksanakan. Perencanaan pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan sangat diperlukan karena tanpa adanya perencanan di suatu lembaga pendidikan maka kegiatan yang dilaksanakan akan berantakan dan bisa menyebabkan timbulnya kendala yang di duga-duga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami dan mengetahui terkait implementasi perencanaan pembeajaran untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Sabtu 10 Juni 2023. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah salah seorang guru kelas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus yang berupaya menelaah sebanyak mungkin data terkait subjek yang diteliti. Teknik yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara.

Abstract

This research looks at the difficulties and solutions faced by teaching staff in developing interesting and relevant lesson plans for students at MTs Hifzil Qur'an Yayasan Islami Center North Sumatra. In addition, it also analyzes the ability of teacher performance in the process of making Lesson Plans (RPP). Through interviews with teachers and principals, it is known that the creation of lesson plans must be based on the syllabus, which serves as the main framework for identifying basic abilities. Teachers face many obstacles, including time constraints, poor resources and requirements for adaptability. Nonetheless, educators show originality and creativity by modifying lesson plans according to students' needs and the classroom environment, and by applying techniques such as ice-breaking games to increase students' interest. Madrasah leaders play an important role in guiding and assisting educators and ensuring that classroom plans adhere to established criteria. The findings of this study suggest that to improve the quality of lesson planning and implementation and provide more engaging and effective teaching, adequate facility assistance and strong academic supervision are essential.
