Abstract

The results of the study show that Ambon City has received the title of a Primary Child-friendly City in Makassar in 2019 and also has a legal basis which is the Regional Regulation Number 1 of 2019 concerning Child-friendly Cities. Based on this, one of the ways to create a child-friendly city according to Kooten's theory in Salusu (1996: 104) are through 4 strategies, namely: a) Organizational strategy, b) Program strategy, c) Supporting resource strategy, and d) Institutional strategy. The methodology used in this study is qualitative with primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques used are interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results reveal that even though Ambon City has had the label of Primary Child-friendly City, the Disability-friendly public facilities are still not adequate yet. Besides, there is no child-friendly integrated public spaces that exist in Ambon City.

Abstract

In support of the service of Hajin Ramah Lansia and many jamaah by 2023, there is a need for optimization of the services of Lansia Ramah Haji at the Office of the Ministry of Religion of Maluku Province. The research method used is qualitative descriptive by conducting direct interviews with the chosen informants. As for the research is as follows: (1). (2) The accommodation has been fully prepared by the Kanwil Kemenag Maluku which is the Hajj hostel building in the village of Waiheru with a total of 120 rooms and 673 beds and in one bed can accommodate 6 to 7 Jemaah Hajj. (3) Health services are always carried out by the Government of the province of Maluku to the entire Hajj community and the more priority is the elderly and those with special needs.

Abstract

Ambon City is known as the World Music City. As a music city, Ambon has a tourism appeal related to music. This research aims to understand the implementation of the Pentahelix policy by the Ambon City Government for the development of Ambon City as a World Music City, and to formulate and recommend strategies for collaboration among the Pentahelix actors in the implementation of the policy for the development of Ambon City as a World Music City. This research utilizes qualitative descriptive methods. The results of this study indicate that the Pentahelix policy model needs further optimization because the integrity among stakeholders is still low. Furthermore, there are several formulated recommendations and strategies that can be applied, including establishing a collaborative forum for Ambon music tourism, promoting communication among stakeholders, strengthening the AMO as a data hub and coordination center, making AMO an independent institution, stimulating communication and business initiatives, conducting research related to music tourism, developing an appropriate tourism calendar, educating and raising public awareness, conducting promotional campaigns through media, periodic monitoring and evaluation, as well as human resource development.

Abstract

Ambon City residents, who park their vehicles at Amplaz, are subject to parking fees in accordance with Ambon Mayor Regulation Number 16 of 2021 concerning Parking Retribution Tariffs on Public Roads. Amplaz is subject to progressive parking rates, as it is a zone. So that the tariff for four-wheeled vehicles is no longer RP3000, and two-wheeled vehicles are no longer Rp2000 as in the implementation of the previous Ambon Mayor Regulation. The party who manages parking at Amplaz always urges Ambon City residents to have awareness in paying parking rates according to Ambon Mayor Regulation Number 16 of 2021 concerning Parking Retribution Tariffs on Public Roads. There are many cases when Ambon City residents pay less retribution, arguing that there is no small money and only big money. Even reluctant to pay at all. However, it is advisable to have awareness in paying parking fees. The party who manages parking at Amplaz prioritizes parking service satisfaction. This is done by providing optimal services, namely; directing vehicles in an orderly manner into and out of the parking area, protecting the vehicle from loss of goods, damage due to bumps, and theft of spare parts. Likewise, the friendly behavior of the parking employees. As a result, Ambon City residents cooperatively pay parking fees, according to Ambon Mayor Regulation Number 16 of 2021 concerning Parking Retribution Tariffs on Public Roads.
