Abstract

  Vocational High School is one kind of high school in Indonesia. The alumni of this school are intended as a ready-to-work workforce. Therefore, the curriculum of said school mainly focused on hard skills. Unfortunately, the job market nowadays also requires the applicant to have the ability in soft skills, such as time and task management. Therefore, in these public service programs, the soft skills have become the main priority. In this public service program, two themes were presented to the audience, the first is about how student can know their potential, and the second theme is about time management using Trello. These two themes are presented using discussion and lecture methodology. Using discussion as the methodology, the audience contribution can be achieved. From the feedback questionnaire given to the audience, the programs are considered a success since the average results are more than four on a five-point Likert scale for all ten questions.   Abstrak Sekolah menengah kejuruan merupakan salah satu bentuk sekolah menengah yang ada di Indonesia. Perbedaan utama jenis sekolah ini dan sekolah menengah lainnya adalah pada lulusan. Lulusan dari sekolah menengah kejuruan diharapkan dapat menjadi tenaga siap kerja setelah lulus dari pendidikan. Oleh karena itu dalam kurikulumnya sering kali lebih berfokus pada kemampuan teknis dibandingkan dengan kemampuan non-teknis. Sayangnya, banyak sekali pemberi kerja yang juga mengharapkan tenaga kerja ini memiliki kemampuan non-teknis seperti manajemen waktu. Oleh karena itu dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan kegiatan pelatihan terkait dengan manajemen waktu dan mengetahui potensi diri. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dalam bentuk diskusi dan ceramah. Penggunaan metode diskusi dapat meningkatkan antusiasme dari peserta. Kegiatan ini dianggap sukses dilaksanakan berdasarkan hasil evaluasi yang dilaksanakan. Dimana dari sepuluh pertanyaan yang diberikan, semua pertanyaan mendapatkan nilai diatas 4 dari 5 skala Likert.

Abstract

Cloud gaming has transformed the digital gaming landscape by offloading rendering and computational processes to cloud servers, enabling users to play resource-intensive games on low-specification devices. However, in practice, there remains a critical issue regarding differences in performance and stability of home network connections in supporting cloud gaming services, particularly between Ethernet and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) connections. This study aims to analyze the impact of cloud gaming services, using NVIDIA GeForce NOW as a case study, on the performance of home networks under two different configurations: high-speed Ethernet and low-speed WLAN. Network traffic data were captured in real time using Wireshark over a total of 18 hours of gameplay sessions conducted across three days for each network type. Quality of Service (QoS) parameters, including latency, jitter, packet loss, and throughput, were extracted and analyzed using Python-based scripts. The results indicate that Ethernet connections provide more stable latency and jitter, experience no packet loss, and deliver more consistent throughput. In contrast, WLAN exhibits higher variability in latency and jitter, with fluctuating and less stable throughput. These findings confirm that while both network types can support cloud gaming under certain conditions, Ethernet offers superior performance and consistency. This study contributes practical insights for selecting and optimizing home network configurations to ensure a more reliable and seamless cloud gaming experience.

Abstract

Solid waste management in Galuga Village is still largely dependent on manual sorting practices, resulting in low sorting efficiency and limited community participation. This community service program aims to support source-level waste segregation through the implementation of an Artificial Intelligence (AI)–based automatic waste sorting system that can be operated independently by the community. The activity was conducted using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, emphasizing active community involvement in the design, utilization, and evaluation of the system. The implementation results indicate that the developed AI system achieved a highest validation accuracy of 93.37%, enabling faster and more consistent waste sorting compared to manual methods. Furthermore, observations and questionnaire results from the initial pilot implementation show improved community understanding and acceptance of waste segregation practices, as well as increased readiness to adopt the system in daily activities. These findings suggest that integrating AI technology with a participatory approach has the potential to enhance the effectiveness of community-based waste management and may be further developed as a sustainable technology empowerment model at the village level.
