Abstract

Pembelajaran seni tari merupakan upaya penting untuk melestarikan budaya Bali, namun di SMP Negeri 6 Denpasar, pemahaman siswa terhadap teknik dasar tari Bali masih kurang. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, media audio visual diharapkan dapat menjembatani kesenjangan tersebut dengan memberikan contoh gerakan dan ekspresi yang benar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode gabungan kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan desain Weak Experimental Design (Pre-experimental) melalui One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan video pembelajaran meningkatkan nilai rata-rata siswa dari 59,50 menjadi 76,50. Proses pembelajaran meliputi penyampaian tujuan, demonstrasi, dan diskusi. Uji-r menunjukkan korelasi positif signifikan antara penggunaan video dan hasil belajar siswa. Faktor pendukung termasuk teknologi dan fasilitas sekolah, sedangkan penghambatnya adalah pemadaman listrik dan ruang praktik yang terbatas akibat pembangunan gedung aula. Dengan demikian, penerapan media audio visual dalam pembelajaran teknik dasar Tari Bali Putri tidak hanya efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar, tetapi juga memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pelestarian budaya melalui pendidikan seni tari di sekolah. Penelitian ini membuka peluang untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran yang inovatif di masa depan.

Abstract

This research evaluates the impact of the Sigeh Pengunten dance on the creativity and personality of students at SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Mataram Lampung. The results indicate a significant improvement in the creativity and character of students engaged in learning the Sigeh Pengunten dance. The integration of this dance art into the curriculum brings positive benefits, promoting collaboration, communication, and critical thinking. The research highlights that the Sigeh Pengunten dance not only stimulates students' creativity through free and expressive movements but also shapes positive personalities. The Malay philosophy of Piil Pesengiri, reflected in the dance movements, serves as the foundation for character formation, teaching values of honor and cheerfulness. In the context of learning, the incorporation of the Sigeh Pengunten dance helps students develop communication, emotional, and creative skills. Students not only sharpen their creativity through dance but also build collaboration and communication in the creative process. This process also stimulates critical thinking, enriching students' innovative thinking. The significance of the Sigeh Pengunten dance extends beyond creativity, serving as a means for the development of students' social and emotional skills. The integration of dance art shapes individuals who not only think critically but also possess emotional balance and strong social abilities. Thus, the Sigeh Pengunten dance proves its integral role in creating a holistic and profound learning environment at SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Mataram Lampung.

Abstract

Education is the main foundation for human growth in an ever-developing world. In this context, the learning environment in the classroom is a crucial factor that influences the effectiveness of the learning process. The researcher applied a qualitative phenomenological approach in completing this research to understand how the psychosocial and physical environment of the classroom at SMPN 2 Denpasar influences the learning process. A conducive class is the main focus, considering various aspects ranging from cleanliness, freedom to learn, to student-teacher social interaction. The role of a teacher who serves as a class manager who is responsible for creating a learning environment that motivates students as well as teachers. The research results highlight that a conducive classroom environment does not only involve physical aspects such as room layout, but also social and psychological aspects. Positive social interactions, students' freedom to learn, and camaraderie in the classroom influence their learning motivation. Organizing the classroom environment holistically is an important key in increasing the effectiveness of the learning process. Teachers need to understand their role in creating a learning atmosphere that stimulates student learning motivation. By paying attention to these aspects, the learning process becomes effective and is able to improve student learning outcomes.
