Abstract

Pembangunan infrastruktur jalan tidak hanya meningkatkan aksesibilitas masyarakat tetapi juga menambah limbah industri konstruksi. Proyek perkerasan jalan memerlukan bahan baku dalam jumlah besar, yang berdampak signifikan terhadap lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, penerapan material ramah lingkungan (green material) menjadi alternatif untuk mengurangi dampak lingkungan, menghemat energi, mengurangi biaya, dan meningkatkan sistem sosial. Penggunaan material ramah lingkungan merupakan salah satu strategi pemerintah dalam mencapai pembangunan berkelanjutan yang dikenal sebagai Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemilihan material berkelanjutan untuk perkerasan jalan nasional melalui analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kriteria ekonomi adalah faktor utama dalam pemilihan green material, diikuti oleh kriteria lingkungan dan sosial. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi referensi bagi pemerintah dalam memilih green material untuk proyek jalan nasional yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Waste frequently occurs in construction projects, encompassing both material and non-material waste. This study aims to analyze the waste generated during rebar work, specifically focusing on the detailed activities of measuring and cutting rebar, using the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) approach. The research was conducted at a rebar fabrication facility for a 14-story high-rise building project in Surabaya. VSM was employed to visualize work processes by identifying specific activities in rebar operations, allowing for precise identification of waste. Primary data were collected through direct field observations, while secondary data were obtained from project documents.The findings revealed 11 detailed activities in the measuring process and another 11 in the cutting process. Among these activities, the largest types of waste identified were waiting (10 points), unnecessary motion (6 points), and defects (3 points), totaling 22 waste-related activities. Identifying waste-generating activities and their types in construction work facilitates improved work process efficiency, reduced operational costs, and optimized resource utilization. Furthermore, this also supports enhanced productivity, better work quality, and environmental sustainability by minimizing construction waste.

Abstract

The Maintenance Period is the period of time for the contractor to maintain the results of the work that has been completed. Construction work during the port maintenance period is often carried out when the port is still operating. This condition provides a greater risk for contractors in carrying out repairs. This study uses a case study on the Kijing Terminal Port Development project, West Kalimantan, which is currently under maintenance. The risk of uncertainty issues that have an impact on project performance is the basis for this research to determine risk factors qualitatively by means of literature studies, distributing questionnaires, validating related parties, then approaching using interviews and FGD (Forum Group Discussion). The results of the FGD were then carried out by analyzing the risk response with several methods to determine the effective level of risk and risk response scenarios were carried out. The results of this study obtained the 4 highest risks, namely, high wave weather conditions and natural disasters, improper waste management, budget discrepancies with maintenance cost allocations, and incompatibility of scope of work during the maintenance period with contract documents. The type of risk response can be carried out with a mitigation plan through proactive and reactive actions in accordance with the financial power you have. Contingency costs of IDR 11,656,043,529.255 or 0.393% of the project value.

Abstract

Penerapan prinsip Konstruksi Ramping (Lean Construction) dalam pengembangan infrastruktur berkelanjutan merupakan langkah penting untuk mendorong efisiensi sekaligus meningkatkan daya saing UMKM Konstruksi. Hingga saat ini, penerapan Konstruksi Ramping pada skala UMKM masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, terutama terkait minimnya pemahaman konsep dasar dan minimnya contoh aplikasi di lapangan. Jurnal ini membahas program pelatihan pengembangan infrastruktur berkelanjutan yang dirancang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan UMKM Konstruksi, dengan penekanan pada penerapan Konstruksi Ramping. Pelatihan ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan kemampuan UMKM Konstruksi dalam mengidentifikasi dan mengatasi inefisiensi dalam proyek infrastruktur, memperkenalkan Konstruksi Ramping secara sederhana dan praktis, serta membangun kapasitas dalam pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Berdasarkan hasil pelatihan, peserta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam menilai pengembangan infrastruktur berkelanjutan melalui pendekatan Konstruksi Ramping. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Konstruksi Ramping pada skala UMKM memiliki potensi besar dalam efisiensi operasi konstruksi, guna mendorong peningkatan daya saing UMKM Konstruksi, sekaligus sebagai upaya pemenuhan Sustainable Development Goals secara global.

Abstract

This research discusses the communication between Muslims and Aboge adherents in Mudal Urban Village, Wonosobo, using the Face Negotiation theory. The main focus of this research is how effective communication creates social harmony in the midst of community diversity. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that harmonious communication patterns are realized through facework that prioritizes respect for other groups and mindfulness. Traditions such as selametan and community service become interaction spaces that strengthen emotional relationships with a collectivist approach and a combination of direct and indirect communication. Face negotiation strategies play an important role in maintaining group honour while managing differences without conflict. Effective communication allows Muslim and Aboge communities to coexist inclusively, strengthening social cohesion and making diversity an asset for community harmony. This study contextualizes the Face Negotiation Theory in a local context while emphasizing the role of communication in building social harmony based on cultural values. ***** Penelitian ini mengkaji komunikasi antara masyarakat Muslim dan penganut adat Aboge di Kelurahan Mudal, Wonosobo, dengan menggunakan teori negosiasi wajah. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah bagaimana komunikasi efektif menciptakan harmoni sosial di tengah keberagaman masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola komunikasi harmonis terwujud melalui facework yang mengedepankan penghormatan terhadap kelompok lain dan mindfulness. Tradisi seperti selametan dan kerja bakti menjadi ruang interaksi yang memperkuat hubungan emosional, dengan pendekatan kolektivisme dan kombinasi komunikasi langsung dan tidak langsung. Strategi face negotiation memainkan peran penting dalam menjaga kehormatan kelompok sambil mengelola perbedaan tanpa konflik. Komunikasi yang efektif memungkinkan masyarakat Muslim dan Aboge untuk hidup berdampingan secara inklusif, memperkuat kohesi sosial, dan menjadikan keberagaman sebagai aset harmoni masyarakat. Penelitian ini berkontribusi untuk mengontekstualisasikan teori negosiasi wajah dalam konteks lokal sekaligus menegaskan peran komunikasi dalam membangun harmoni sosial berbasis nilai budaya.

Abstract

Cancer death cases have increased yearly, and there are estimated to be 21.6 million cancer cases in 2030. Studies of herbal compounds for cancer treatment alternatives are essential because cancer treatment is relatively expensive and has adverse effects. Phyllanthus niruri (Pn) and Catharanthus roseus (Cr) are plants that are known as herbal medicines. Combining the two plants is expected to prevent and enhance the immune system in breast cancer cases. This study aims to analyze the anti-cancer and immunomodulatory effects of P. niruri and C. roseus extract (PCE) in modulating macrophage polarization in breast cancer mice. Experimental animals are divided into six groups and there is healthy control (normal mice), cancer (DMBA-induced mice), cancer mice with cisplatin administration, cancer mice with PCE administration with three different doses, including dose 1 (500 mg/kg Pn + 15 mg/kg Cr), dose 2 (1000 mg/kg Pn + 75 mg/kg Cr), and dose 3 (2000 mg/kg Pn + 375 mg/kg Cr). The mice were injected with DMBA once a week for six weeks to induce cancer in mice. The breast cancer mice model was administered with PCE orally for 14 days. The expression of CD11b+IL-10+ and CD11b+IFN-γ+ demonstrated macrophage polarization. The results showed that breast cancer induction using DMBA increased the level of IL-10 and decreased the level of IFN-γ significantly compared to the normal group (p < 0.05). In specific doses, administration of PCE could reduce IL-10 levels and increase the level of IFN-γ significantly (p < 0.05). PCE can modulate the polarization of macrophages by suppressing the M2-like macrophage and increasing the M1-like macrophage. The ability of PCE to modulate macrophage polarization indicates that the combination of P. niruri and C. roseus has activity as an anti-cancer.

Abstract

Acute lung injury tends to be induced by infection or sepsis that disrupt alveolar and vascular permeability, neutrophil influx, and edema. Those impairments are worsened by the increase of oxidative stress along with hyperinflammation response. Oxidative stress in lung tissue could be indicated by malondialdehyde (MDA) and nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) expression. This research aimed to evaluate the efficacy of Baby Java citrus peel extract (BJE) in suppressing oxidative stress and preventing lung injury in lipopolysaccharides (LPS)-induced mice. Twenty-five male BALB/c mice were divided into five groups consisting of untreated (N), LPS (A), and LPS-induced followed by treatment using BJE at various doses: 75 mg/kg BW (BJE-1), 105 mg/kg BW (BJE-2), and 150 mg/kg BW (BJE-3). Lungs were isolated for histopathological analysis also detection of MDA and Nrf2 using flow cytometry. BJE at the dose of 105 mg/kg BW could inhibit the alteration of lung histology following LPS challenge including alveolar and interstitial neutrophil infiltration, proteinaceous debris, and septal thickening. The same dose also showed good potency in suppressing MDA and Nrf2 levels as oxidative stress indicators. Our findings demonstrated protective effects of Baby Java citrus peel in acute lung injury and oxidative stress prevention after LPS exposure.

Abstract

Pemindahan Ibu Kota Negara Republik Indonesia ke Nusantara merupakan langkah strategis untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan investasi dan alternatif skema kerja sama pemerintah dan badan usaha (KPBU) dalam pembangunan gedung XYZ yang dirancang sebagai hunian bagi aparatur sipil negara (ASN) di IKN. Metode penelitian ini meliputi analisis finansial dengan menghitung Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Return on Investment (ROI), serta membandingkan 3 skema lingkup proyek KPBU yaitu Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Maintenance (DBFOM), Design-Build-Finance-Maintenance (DBFM), dan Design-Build-Finance-Operate (DBFO). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan skema DBFOM merupakan pilihan investasi paling tepat bagi badan usaha pelaksana dengan nilai NPV tertinggi sebesar Rp 180.524.597.576, tingkat Internal Rate of Return (IRR) sebesar 12,94%, serta Return on Investment (ROI) sebesar 5,21%. Dalam analisis sensitivitas, perubahan biaya capex dan opex maksimal +5%, sedangkan untuk perubahan pengurangan AP maksimal di -4%.  Implikasi penelitian ini mencakup rekomendasi kebijakan bagi pemerintah dalam pemilihan skema KPBU yang optimal, peningkatan efisiensi investasi infrastruktur, serta kontribusi terhadap pembangunan IKN yang berkelanjutan dan inklusif. Bagi sektor swasta, temuan ini memberikan panduan dalam pengambilan keputusan investasi dan manajemen risiko proyek KPBU. Penelitian ini dapat mendorong pertumbuhan yang berkelanjutan dan merata di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and evaluate risk related to financial in Public-Private Partnership projects specifically on affordable housing sector in Indonesia. The research was conducted using a qualitative-descriptive approach supported by a structured questionnaire survey distributed to government and private sector stakeholders. The assessment method applied is the Probability-Impact Matrix, which enables systematic evaluation of each risk based on its likelihood of occurrence and its potential impact on project performance. The results indicate that land provision and dependence on public funding are the most significant financial risks, categorized as high and very high levels. Other identified risks include credit and loan availability, construction cost fluctuations, and investment funding stability, all of which pose varying degrees of concern. The study also highlights the importance of experience, position, and educational background of the respondents in providing comprehensive insights into risk perception. The findings conclude that proactive financial risk mitigation, including appropriate cost-sharing mechanisms and contingency planning, is crucial for the sustainability of affordable housing PPP projects. This research offers valuable input for policymakers and private stakeholders in designing more resilient financing strategies for future infrastructure development.
