Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meni persepsi mahasiswa pendidikan biologi terhadap perkuliahan daring di masa pandemi covid 19. Penelitian dilaksanakan di program pendidikan biologi Fakultas Sains, Teknik dan Terapan (FSTT) Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mendeskripsikan atau menggambarkan respon mahasiswa terhadap perkuliahan daring. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan biologi tahun akademik 2019/2020 yang berjumlah  31 orang. Respon mahasiswa di ukur menggunakan angket yang telah dinyatakan valid dengan nilai rata-rata rata-rata 3.6 dengan kategri valid dan hasil analisi uji relibilitas mendapatkan nilai  rata-rata 9.4 dengan reliabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Proses pembelajaran daring yang dilaksnakan oleh dosen di program studi pendidikan biologi selama pandemi rata-rata menggunakan watshap group ini dikarenakan lebih mudah dioprasionalkan dan semua mahasiswa menggunakan aplikasi ini sebagai alat komunikasi. Akan tetapi masih terdapat kendala seperti seringkali jaringan internet tidak stabil terutama di daerah-daerah pedalam. Dalam kegiatan praktikum respon mahasiswa menunjukan bahwa 77-80% mahasiswa menyatakan dapat melakukan praktikum melalui online akan tetapi tidak berjalan dengan maksimal hal ini dikarenakan jaringan internet yang tidak stabil, alat dan bahan yang digunakan sangat terbatas, kurangnya modipikasi atau menyesuikan dengan kondisi lembar kerja yang diberikan, materi praktikum yang disajikan masih banyak membutuhkan kegiatan-kegiatan yang harus dilakukan di laboratorium.   Online Learning in Student Perception Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of biology education students towards online lectures during the covid 19 pandemics. The research was carried out in the biology education program of the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Applied (FSTT) Mandalika Education University. This research is a quantitative descriptive study to describe or describe student responses to online lectures. Respondents in this study were students of the biology education study program for the 2019/2020 academic year, totaling 31 people. Student responses were measured using a questionnaire that had been declared valid with an average value of 3.6 with a valid category and the results of the reliability test analysis obtained an average value of 9.4 with reliability. The results showed that the online learning process carried out by lecturers in the biology education study program during the pandemic on average used this WhatsApp group because it was easier to operate and all students used this application as a communication tool. However, there are still obstacles such as the internet network is often unstable, especially in remote areas. In practicum activities, student responses showed that 77-80% of students stated that they could do practicum online but it did not run optimally this was due to the unstable internet network, very limited tools and materials used, lack of modification, or adjusting to the conditions of the worksheets that were used. given, the practicum material presented still requires many activities to be carried out in the laboratory.

Abstract

Globalization has a negative impact on local wisdom and the character of the successor of the Indonesian nation. It causes the culture of other countries to influence local wisdom so that it experiences a shift and slowly disappears. It triggers youth violence and erodes morals, character, sense of humanity, and nationalism. Students who are dominated by the Sasak tribe are currently less familiar with their traditions and culture. The solution to this problem is to integrate local wisdom into formal chemistry learning. This study aims to identify local wisdom of the Sasak tribe that can be integrated in chemistry learning. The approach used in this research is qualitative. The research sample is cultural practitioners and the Sasak people. Sampling using purposive technique. The implementation of this research consists of four stages based on data analysis of the Miles and Huberman Model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data collection technique is triangulation, which combines interviews, observations, and documents. The results of this study are local wisdom of the Sasak tribe that can be integrated in chemistry learning. The local wisdom includes mopping with cow dung, dilah jojor, nyesek, and gendang beleq. The results of the analysis of local wisdom show that there is relevance to chemistry, namely the concepts of organic compounds, inorganic compounds, chemical bonds, elemental chemistry, instrument analysis, chemical separation, and chemistry of natural materials. The integration of local wisdom into chemistry learning has an impact on maintaining the existence of local wisdom of the Sasak tribe as well as strengthening the character of students

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetehui hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan metode Peer Tutoring (Teman Sebaya) pada materi pencemaran lingkungan kelas X MS 1 B di SMA Negeri 1 Kediri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus dan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, tindakan evaluasi dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Kediri, subyek penelitian ini adalah kelas X MS 1 B yang terdiri dari 29 siswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar tes hasil belajar kognitif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa tes. Pada analisis hasil tes belajar siswa pada siklus I diperoleh persentase 12,28% dengan kategori tidak tuntas secara klasikal, pada siklus II diperoleh persentase klasikal sebesar 41,66% termasuk dalam kategori tidak tuntas secara klasikal dikarenakan hasil tes belajar siswa belum mencapai 85%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran  Peer Tutoring tidak dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X MS 1 B SMA Negeri 1 Kediri Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022.

Abstract

Scientific literacy and mastery of concepts are needed to prepare a generation that is ready and adaptive to face developments in science and technology in the 21st century. Therefore, there is a need to change the learning process through the application of appropriate learning models. The Project Based Learning (PjBL) model can be a solution in increasing students' scientific literacy and mastery of concepts. This research was conducted at SMAN 7 Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) with a quasi experimental pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were 132 of the 10th grade students. The research instrument for scientific literacy and concept mastery uses essay questions. Data were analyzed descriptively and with inferential statistics, i.e correlation tests at a significance level of 1%. The results of data analysis show that the significance value is 0.00, so it can be concluded that there is a positive correlation between concept mastery and student literacy. The implication of the results of this research is that the use of the PjBL model can be used as an alternative model that can empower students' mastery of science concepts and literacy

Abstract

Science literacy has become one of the skills needed to prepare a young generation that is adaptive to the advances of science and technology in the 21st century. According to research by some experts, the literacy of science students in Indonesia is still low. The reason for the poor science literacy of students is that they are not activated continuously in the learning process. Therefore, there is a need for the application of innovative learning models, one of which is the project-based learning (PjBL) model. The PjBL model phase is useful to train students to be responsible for their own learning and develop their ability to think systematically. The gender of students, consisting of men and women, is important to note because it relates to several things, including thinking skills, decision-making, and the ability to draw conclusions. All these abilities are supportive factors of student science literacy, so it is necessary to conduct a study of differential science literacy by differentiating the gender of students. The research was conducted at SMAN 7 Mataram Nusa Tenggara West (NTB) with quasi-experiments. The subject of the study is class X students, consisting of 5 parallel classes, with a total number of 126 people (44 males and 82 females). The free variable in research is the PjBL model, and the bound variable is science literacy. Research instruments for science literacy use essay questions. The results of the study showed that the average science literacy of female students is 55.99; this figure is higher than the male literacy score of 53.03. Furthermore, the Anova test result shows that the significance value at the level of 5% is 0.62 ≥ 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is no significant difference in the literacy value of male and female science students after learning using the PjBL model.

Abstract

This service aims to empower the community around the Giong Siu City Forest, both visitors and managers, by arranging empty land for a live dispensary. The method of implementing this service included socialization and practice with a participatory approach. The results of this service activity showed that visitors and managers were very enthusiastic about participating in the socialization activity until completion. Medicinal plant planting activities were carried out together with the manager. Medicinal plants planted include yellow turmeric, white turmeric, ginger, galangal, galangal, aloe vera, and lavender. This planting was carried out in the Giong Siu location, which was still empty, so that optimal light was obtained and was close to a water source for watering.
