Abstract

Volleyball underhand passing training is a process of coaching and developing volleyball players' skills through physical, technical, tactical, and mental exercises to improve performance in the game. This training can be conducted at various levels, from beginners to professionals, and covers several important aspects that support the improvement of basic skills. One of the basic techniques that must be mastered by players, especially in adolescence, is the underhand pass. This technique is the main foundation for controlling the ball and maintaining the continuity of the game. However, based on the results of initial observations on Ahmad Yani High School students, it was found that students' underhand passing ability is still relatively low. As many as 85% of students scored below average, indicating that they have difficulty mastering this basic technique. This problem presents a challenge in physical education learning, especially in volleyball. One contributing factor is the lack of variety and creativity in the teaching methods used by teachers, resulting in a lack of student motivation. This study aims to apply the VAK (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic) method in volleyball underhand passing training. The VAK method is a learning approach that combines three main learning styles: visual (sight), auditory (hearing), and kinesthetic (movement). This approach is believed to help students understand techniques more comprehensively, tailored to their individual learning styles. Integrating the VAK method into the training process is expected to significantly improve student learning outcomes, particularly in mastering volleyball underhand passing techniques. This research also aims to provide alternative, more innovative and effective learning strategies for physical education teachers in schools.

Abstract

Based on the main work indicator or IKU 7, namely collaborative and participatory through the case method and team based project with a student-centred learning orientation. The Mathematics Education Study Program at IKIP Budi Utomo followed up on this by collaborating in PDK (Collaborative Online Learning) together with the University of Flores through a blended learning scheme. This scheme is based on project based learning which requires students to carry out a project as a team to achieve a solution to a problem. This research is qualitative research. The objects of this research are students of the Mathematics Education Study Program at IKIP Budi Utomo and Flores University who are taking Entrepreneurship courses in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. Determining the research object was carried out by means of purportive sampling. The instrument used in this research is the researcher as an observer or interviewer. The data collected came from interviews, observations and documentation through FGD (Focus Group Discussion). Team based project learning is carried out using blended learning using a learning managing system. Students receive an Entrepreneurship module in which there are assignments that students must complete. Entrepreneurship learning is carried out using blended learning because it is carried out collaboratively by IKIP Budi Utomo and the University of Flores which does not allow for offline lectures. This is done to create effective and efficient lectures. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that blended learning through team based projects can provide students with experience in being able to think critically, analytically and creatively in solving problems. The team based project approach used in entrepreneurship courses is able to increase student creativity in the business world.

Abstract

Electronic Learning (E-Learning) is a learning process that utilizes electronic media, particularly the internet, as the primary system in teaching and learning activities. This study aims to describe the implementation of e-learning with game-based learning adaptations in the form of session-based gamification challenges in junior high schools. Another goal of this research is to evaluate the impact of this method on improving students' conceptual understanding and encouraging their active engagement during the learning process. Furthermore, this study seeks to identify the factors that support the successful implementation of gamification and to explore the challenges that may arise during the learning process. The method used in this research is classroom action research (CAR). The indicators of implementing e-learning with game-based learning adaptation in the form of session-based gamification challenges include conceptual understanding and active engagement. Conceptual understanding is measured through students' ability to explain concepts, solve problems, apply concepts, and show improvement in evaluation results. Active engagement is observed from participation in discussions, involvement in gamification, activity on the e-learning platform, and students' learning motivation. The study was conducted on fraction material at SMP Taman Siswa Turen, Malang Regency. This study involved 8th-grade students as its subjects, with a total of 20 students tasked with completing questions prepared in the Kahoot application. Based on the results of the study, it was found that prior to the implementation of gamification on this material, students' understanding of fraction concepts was relatively low, particularly in fraction operations. Students often struggled to identify solution steps and frequently made calculation errors. This highlights the need for a more interactive approach to enhance their understanding.

Abstract

Results of observations made at MTs Islamiyah Sukopuro, in that school there are problems in solving math problems on SPLDV material from a cognitive perspective. In accordance with what was conveyed by the mathematics subject teacher for grade 8A, in the ongoing learning process it was found that the students' understanding of the material was low. This is indicated by the teacher giving questions to students, and not a few students make mistakes when working on these questions. The mistakes made by students include not understanding the meaning of the problem, errors in counting, errors in mastering formulas and mathematical concepts. So the purpose of this study is to describe the problems in students' errors in solving mathematics problems in SPLDV material in terms of cognitive and describe efforts to increase student understanding in SPLDV material in terms of cognitive. The method in this study used a qualitative descriptive method. This research was conducted at MTs Islamiyah Sukopuro, Jabung district, Malang district. The subjects in this study were grade 8A MTs Islamiyah Sukopuro. This study uses tests and interviews in the data collection process. The results of this study used tests and interviews in the data collection process. Based on the results of data analysis, this study can conclude that students' errors are reading problems, misunderstanding problems, incorrect procedures, missing conclusions, conceptual errors, drawing conclusions, language interpretation errors, calculation or computational errors, less thorough, hasty attitude.
