Abstract

Perkembangan Bayi BBLR berisiko mengalami keterlambatan karena kondisi berat badan kurang dari 2500 gram, sehingga bayi mengalami proses adaptasi fisiologi yang berat. Salah satu proses adaptasi fisiologi yang harus tercapai pada BBLR adalah sistem thermoregulasi, pernapasan dan kardiovaskular. Bayi merupakan masa kritis (critical period) dimana merupakan waktu spesifik ketika sebuah peristiwa yang diberikan, atau ketiadaannya memiliki dampak terbesar terhadap perkembangan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi efektifitas stimulasi taktil-kinestetik terhadap perkembangan fisiologis (Suhu, Respirasi, Denyut Jantung) dan Berat Badan Bayi BBLR. Penelitian menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimental, pre-test dan post-test non-equivalent control group 30 bayi BBLR diambil dengan teknik probability sampling. Intervensi stimulasi taktil-kinestetik dilakukan sekali dalam sehari selama 5 hari. Lembar observasi dan prosedur stimulasi taktil-kinestetik digunakan sebagai instrumen penelitian. Data tersebut dianalisa menggunakan uji Man Whitney dan uji t independent.Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan perkembangan fisiologis suhu setelah intervensi (Post) pada Kelompok Intervensi dan Kontrol (p value 0,000); ada perbedaan yang signifikan Pernapasan Bayi BBLR setelah perawatan (Post) pada Kelompok Intervensi dan Kontrol (p value 0,037); ada perbedaan yang signifikan Denyut Jantung Bayi BBLR setelah perawatan (Post) pada Kelompok Intervensi dan Kontrol (p value 0,000); tidak ada perbedaan Berat Badan Bayi BBLR setelah perawatan (Post) pada Kelompok Intervensi dan Kontrol (p value 0,155).Kata kunci: BBLR, perkembangan, Stimulasi Taktil-kinestetik. Effect of Tactile-Kinesthetic Stimulation to Development of Low Birth Weight Babies AbstractLow Birth Weight (LBW) in infant has risk of developmental delay due to conditions weighing less than 2500 grams, so that the infant suffered severe physiological adaptation process. One of the physiological adaptation processes that must be reached on LBW is thermoregulation system, respiratory and cardiovascular. Infant is a critical period which is a specific time when a given event, or lack thereof has the greatest impact on the development. The purpose of this study is to identify the effectiveness of tactile-kinesthetic stimulation to the development of physiological (temperature, respiration, heart rate) and Weight Infants LBW. The study used a quasi-experimental design, pre-test and post-test non-equivalent control group 30 LBW infants taken with probability sampling technique. Intervention tactile-kinesthetic stimulation is done once a day for 5 days. Observation sheet and tactile-kinesthetic stimulation procedures is used as a research instrument. Data were analyzed using Man Whitney test and independent t test. Statistical analysis showed significant differences physiological development of temperature after the intervention (Post) in the intervention and control groups (p value 0,000); No significant differences Babies Respiratory LBW after treatment (Post) in the intervention and control groups (p value 0,037); No significant differences Heartbeat LBW infants after treatment (Post) in the intervention and control groups (p value 0,000); there is no difference Weight LBW infants after treatment (Post) in the intervention and control groups (p value 0.155).Keywords: Development, low birth weight, tactile-kinesthetic stimulation.

Abstract

Adolescent growth and development is a process or stage of change or transition from childhood to adulthood marked by various changes, including physical changes. One of the prominent characteristics of the physical changes in the active operation of the sex glands is a sexual urge. Adolescent sexual behaviour can also have psychological and social impacts. To avoid unhealthy sexual behaviour, efforts are made to prevent adolescent sexual behaviour that can be done internally and externally. Internally, the factor that plays an important role for adolescents in preventing sexual behaviour is self-control. The self-control factors can be studied with Health Belief Model (HBM) approach using a psychological model to predict the causes of healthy behaviour. This research method is a quantitative research using a quasi-experimental research with the type of design one group pre and post intervention. The results showed that sexual behavior before the implementation of HBM was unhealthy with a median value of 1, after the implementation of HBM, adolescent sexual behavior was healthy with a median value of 0. This indicates that there is a relationship between the application of HBM and adolescent sexual behavior in SMK Pasundan 1 Cimahi with p-value 0.002. The application of HBM can reduce unhealthy sexual behavior as a guide for adolescents in increasing knowledge, providing information to increase understanding of healthy sexual behavior.

Abstract

Aims : Children are the most vulnerable age for COVID-19 due to an immature immune system and low ability to apply prevention protocol. A total of 7,950 children from 34,211 confirmed positive children in Indonesia must receive treatment. Special treatment for COVID-19 children apart from being in isolation rooms, not allowing family members to accompany them, and limiting interactions between patients and nurses (Members of the Divisions of Pediatric Infectious Disease, 2020). This study aims to determine the role of pediatric nurses in providing care for children with COVID-19 at the hospital. Design : The design of this research is exploratory qualitative. The method of collecting data with focus group discussions is using an online interaction application. Methods : Explorative qualitative research design with Focus Group Discussion (FGD) method. The selection of participants by purposive sampling. The participants is 10 nurses with the criteria of working in the Covid isolation children's room, working more than 1 year in the hospital. Data retrieval is done online via the zoom application using mobile devices, field notes, stationery and laptops. Data analysis with Colaizzi analysis method. Results : The results of the study obtained themes is the role of nurses, efforts made by nurses, obstacles experienced by nurses, nurses expectations, nurses  joys and sorrows, patient and family responses, support for nurses. Conclusions : Recommendation for hospitals to pay more attention to the welfare and work safety of nurses and the community are expected to comply with health protocols correctly.

Abstract

ABSTRAK  Kegawatdaruratan merupakan hal yang penting untuk dipahami dan juga diketahui oleh masyarakat umum. Pondok pesantren merupakan lembaga yang masih kurang tersentuh oleh kegiatan kesehatan, sehingga perlunya suatu pelatihan kesehatan  terutama terkait hal yang dasar yaitu pengukuran tanda tanda vital dan juga Bantuan Hidup Dasar (BHD). Pelatihan ini di fokuskan kepada pembuatan kader kesehatan remaja santri di Pondok Pesantren Al Istiqomah Bandung dengan memberikan pelatihan dan workshop pengukuran tanda tanda vital dan Bantuan Hidup Dasar Awam. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan ini dilakukan secara offline kepada santri dan santriwati ponpes Al Istiqomah sebanyak 55 orang selama 3 minggu dengan ahad pertama pemberian materi pengukuran tanda tanda vital (TTV) dan bantuan hidup dasar (BHD) awam, diminggu ke 2 yaitu workshop terkait aplikasi TTV dan BHD kepada kader santri dan santriwati kesehatan sebanyak 12 orang, kemudian di pekan ke 3 dilakukan pembuatan posko kesehatan santri laki laki dan juga santri perempuan. Setelah di lakukan pre test dan post test terkait aspek pengetahuan di dapat rata rata post test 41,73 dan rata rata post test 53,36. Adapun hasil Pelatihan sesuai prosedur SOP pre test dan post test di dapatkan 26,25 menjadi 83,75. Selain itu hasil pelatihan dan pendampingan langsung terkait Apliaksi BHD di dapatkan pre test 26,25 dan post test 83,75. Pengabdian masyarakat terkait dengan pelatihan dan workshop pengukuran tanda tanda vital; Tekanan Darah, Suhu, Nadi, Pernafasan dan juga Bantuan Hidup Dasar Awam sangat di perlukan untuk remaja santri pesantren untuk di jadikan sebagai kader kesehatan di pondok pesantren. Selain itu, pentingnya pendampingan dan observasi dalam pembuatan posko kesehatan yang berbasis pesantren ini. Di harapakan peran serta dari Institusi Pendidikan kesehatan/perguruan tinggi dan juga pemerintah khususnya puskesmas untuk melakukan pelatihan kepada pesantren dan pembuatan posko kesehatan santri di pondok pesantren.  Kata Kunci: Gawatdarurat, Bantuan Hidup Dasar, Tanda tanda vital, Santri Pesantren ABSTRACT  Emergency is an important thing to be understood and also known by the general public. Islamic boarding schools are institutions that are still not touched by health activities, therefore,  there is a need for health training, especially related to basic things, namely engraving vital signs and also Basic Life Support (BLS). The training focused on making adolescent health cadres at the AL Istiqomah Islamic Boarding School Bandung by providing training and workshops on measuring vital signs and basic life support for the layman. The method of implementing this training activity is carried out offline to 55 students and santriwati of Islamic boarding school Al Istiqomah, for 3 weeks, with the first week providing material for measuring vital signs and basic life support (BLS), in the 2nd week, namely workshops related to applications. TTV and BLS to cadres of students and health students as many as 12 people, then in the 3rd week the construction of a health post for male students and also female students was carried out. After the pre-test and post-test related to the knowledge aspect, the post-test average was 41.73 and the post-test average was 53.36. The results of the training according to the SOP pre-test and post-test procedures were obtained from 26.25 to 83.75. In addition, the results of training and direct assistance related to the BHD application were obtained for a pre-test of 26.25 and a post-test of 83.75. the results of community service related to training and workshops on vital sign engraving; Blood Pressure, Temperature, Pulse, Breathing, and also Basic Lay Support are very much needed for young Islamic boarding school students to be made health cadres in Islamic boarding schools. In addition, the importance of application, assistance, and observation as well as the creation of health posts requires assistance in order to maintain the activity the pesantren-based health post. It is hoped that the participation of health education institutions/universities as well as the government, especially the health center, is expected to conduct training for Islamic boarding schools to be used as health posts for students in Islamic boarding schools. Keywords: Emergency, Basic Life Support, Vital Signs, Islamic Boarding School Students

Abstract

Parallel to the operational concrete development stage, school-age children start to develop their skills in logical thinking and problem-solving. They need adequate concentration to grow at the stage successfully. One of the determining factors in achieving such concentration is the quality of sleep. The study aims to analyze the relationship between sleep quality and learning concentration among school-age children. This research is a cross-sectional descriptive quantitative study. The samples were taken by proportional stratified random sampling from 53 respondents of 111 populations. Data were collected using PSQI and concentration questionnaires and analyzed using chi-square. The results indicated that 47 children (88.7 %) had a low sleep quality and 33 children (62.3 %) on a middle range of learning concentration. The statistical analysis showed 58.5 % of children with low sleep quality had a middle learning concentration level and 30.2 % had a low concentration level with a p-value (0.000) < value α (0.05). It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the quality of sleep and the level of learning concentration for school-age children at SD IT Al-Maqom Cimahi. Nurses as healthcare professionals can cooperate with the school to provide health education for the students and their parents regarding decent sleep quality and its effect on their growth and development, especially in studying. The parents can modify their children’s daily activities, especially before bedtime. One of them is rules about using gadgets and other electronic media in their bedrooms.

Abstract

Aim: The prevalence data for growth and development disorders is increased by 28.7%, and Indonesia being the third highest in Southeast Asia. The influence of family support, especially from the mother, is very influential on the child's development because the mother's encouragement is very influential on the child's success in achieving development according to the stages. This study aims to analyze the relationship between maternal support and the level of development of preschool children in Daya Wanita Kindergarten, Sumedang. Methods: The research design used was an analytic survey with a cross-sectional approach. The number of samples used is 70 respondents (35 children and 35 mothers). This study used a purposive sampling technique and the developmental pre-screening questionnaire (KPSP) to measure the mother's support using a Guttman scale with two choices of answers that support and do not support. Result: Univariate data analysis with frequency distribution technique and bivariate using Chi-Square test. The results showed that out of 35 children, 20 children had appropriate development (57.1%), ten children had doubtful development (28.6%), and five children had abnormal development (14.3%). Most of the children received support from their mothers. As many as 22 people (62.9%) and 13 children did not get proper support (37.1%). There is a significant relationship between the mother's support and preschool-age children's development level (p-value = 0.007). Conclusion: This study showed a relationship between mothers' support and the development of preschool-age children. Based on this study result is hoped that schools can educate parents about stimulating child development, and parents can facilitate the children's stimulation at home.

Abstract

ABSTRAK  Komunikasi Efektif merupakan komunikasi yang penting di tatanan Kesehatan. Komunikasi efektif di RS Dustira juga menggunakan komunikasi SBAR (Situation, Background, Asessments and Recommendation) antara perawat dan dokter. Namun dalam hal aplikasi di lapangan masih ditemukan komunikasi ini belum diaplikasikan secara maksimal. Hal yang terkait diantaranya saat handover masih ditemukan lupa mengemukakan nama dan ruangan saat menelpon atau handover dengan dokter. Pemebrian pelatihan terkait komunikasi efektif dengan metode komunikasi SISBAR, yang merupakan pengembangan dari komunikasi SBAR yang ada di RS Dustira. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pengabdian masyarakat dengan memebrikan  penegetahuan terkait komunikasi SISBAR dan pelatihan, role play dan juga workshop aplikasi dari komunikasi SISBAR yang bisa di lakukan dilapangan secara langsung. Pelatihan, workshop dan observasi komunikasi efektif SISBAR dilakukan di 10 Ruangan dan di ikuti oleh 51 orang terdiri dari Kepala Ruangan, CI dan KaTim tiap ruang rawat. Setelah di lakukan pre test dan post test terkait aspek pengetahuan di dapat rata rata pre test 63 dan rata rata post test 80. Selain itu hasil pelatihan dan pendampingan langsung terkait Apliaksi Observasi langsung di lapangan di dapatkan hasil 90. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat terkait dengan pelatihan dan workshop Komunikasi efektik SISBAR untuk handover perawat dan dokter lebih efektif dari pada komunikasi SBAR. Penambahan dan pemberian pelatihan terkait Salam dan memeprkenalkan disi saat melakukan handover efektif dengan pemebrian format handover dan juga pendampinganlansgung saat apliaksi di lapangan. Komunikasi SISBAR bisa djadikan dan diaplikasikan langsung dan memeberikan kepercayaan diri perawat saat melakukan handover dengan dokter. Di harapakan peran serta dari managemen Rumah Sakit dalam konsistensi komunikasi efektif SISBAR dan juga pelibatan profesi dokter dalam melihat efektifitas komunikasi SISBAR ini. Kata Kunci: Komunikasi Efektif, SISBAR, Handover, Perawat, Dokter   ABSTRACT  Effective communication is important communication in the health setting. Effective communication at Dustira Hospital uses SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, and Recommendation) communication between nurses and doctors. However, in terms of application in the field, it is still found that this communication has not been applied optimally including when handovers are still found forgetting to state the name and ward when calling or handing over with a doctor. Provide training related to effective communication using the SISBAR communication method, which is a development of SBAR communication at Dustira Hospital. The aim of this activity is to provide community service by providing knowledge related to SISBAR communication and training, role play, and workshops on the application of SISBAR communication which can be carried out directly in the field. SISBAR training, workshops, and effective communication observations were conducted in 10 wards and attended by 51 people consisting of the Nursing Unit Managers, Clinical Instructors (CI), and incharge nurse for each wards. After carrying out the pre-test and post-test related to the knowledge aspect, the pre-test and post-test average is 63 and 80 respectively. Furthermore, the results of direct training and mentoring related to direct observation applications in the field were obtained as a result of 90. Effective SISBAR communication for nurse and doctor handovers is more effective than SBAR communication. Addition and provision of training related to Greetings and introducing the elements when carrying out effective handovers by providing handover formats and direct assistance during field applications. SISBAR communication can be made and applied directly, giving nurses confidence when carrying out handovers with doctors. It is hoped that Hospital management has to apply SISBAR Communication consistency and has to participate in the medical profession's involvement in seeing the effectiveness of SISBAR communication. Keywords: Effective Communication, SISBAR, Handover, Nurse, Doctor
