Abstract

Abstract

This paper proposes an innovative method to enhance Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) for Linux Command Line Interface (CLI) applications by integrating Telegram bot piping. Despite the power of CLI, its complexity often deters users, particularly those less experienced with technology. We introduce a solution leveraging Telegram bots to provide a more intuitive and accessible interface for interacting with CLI tools. Users can issue commands via Telegram, receiving real-time feedback and executing tasks without extensive CLI knowledge. Our study includes design, implementation, and evaluation phases, demonstrating high user satisfaction with the Telegram bot integrated CLI applications. The approach significantly improves usability, reduces the learning curve, and broadens the accessibility of Linux systems. The user feedback indicated high satisfaction with the Telegram bot integrated CLI applications, with users finding it effective, user-friendly, and preferable over traditional CLI interfaces, with a user satisfaction score of 95.3%

Abstract

Land cover will change due to population pressure, resource use, and human interest in space. Measuring the land area is important to determine how much-converted land is positive and negative. The vegetation on land was determined by how densely the plants were spread out. This study is conducted in Palabuhanratu, Sukabumi Regency. Aims to test and compare how accurate EVI and SAVI are at seeing vegetation density. The images used are from Landsat 8 in 2018 and 2022. Calibration is performed using high-resolution images, followed by field surveys with 98 points from polygon sampling. The average accuracy of the results from EVI is 49%, while the average accuracy of the results from SAVI is 45%. So, we can say that the EVI or SAVI based-input gives a similar result on observing the vegetation density in Palabuhanratu.

Abstract

Mobile devices are vulnerable to shoulder surfing and smudge attacks, which should occur when a user enters a PIN for authentication purposes. This attack can be avoided by implementing a rotary entry pad mechanism. Despite this, several studies have found that using a rotary entry pad reduces user usability. This study uses a Design Research Methodology approach. It will implement a rotary entry pad authentication in the Android operating system as an authentication method to protect the device against Shoulder Surfing Attacks and Smudge Attacks. Furthermore, it combined JSON Web Token (JWT) to secure the authentication process from the client to the server. At the end of implementation, it compared with other studies in terms of usability and evaluated it using the TQ-Model, which showed that the usability aspect has improved. Regarding security, we conducted a shoulder surfing attack simulation to assess the efficacy of guessing PINs. The results showed that only a limited number of attempts were successful, with two out of five samples failing to guess any numbers and only one sample successfully guessing six 10-digit PIN combinations out of 10 to the power of 10. The security test results show that shoulder surfing attacks are more difficult to perform after implementing the rotary entry pad. The evaluation showed that the JSpinpad performed better, with seven parameters showing improvement, one parameter showing a decline, and ten parameters remaining unchanged.
