Abstract

Gerak bagi manusia merupakan kebutuhan terlebih bagi anak yang masih dalam proses tumbuh kembang. Penelitian ini berupaya untuk melakukan deteksi dini motorik kasar anak usia 4-6 Tahun di Kota Palu. Penelusuran yang dilakukan menggunakan penelitian deksriptif. Sampel terdiri dari 344 anak terbagi atas 168 orang anak laki-laki dan 176 anak perempuan yang tersebar di 20 lembaga PAUD yang ada di kota Palu dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan 4 jenis tes yakni (1) tes meloncat tanpa awalan, (2) tes berdiri satu kaki, (3) tes kekuatan tangan, dan (4) tes kecepatan. Teknik analisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif persentase. Adapun kesimpulan yaitu hasil pengukuran ditemukan kondisi motorik kasar anak berada pada kategori sedang sehingga dapat dikatakan masih dalam tahap perkembangan. Olehnya itu, hendaknya guru PAUD lebih menekankan model pembelajaran yang memacu kemampuan gerak motorik kasar sehingga dapat mendukung pencapaian prestasi anak di masa depan.

Abstract

Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah menduduki urutan ketiga yang memiliki daerah 3T terbanyak se-Indonesia. Fasilitas penunjang proses pembelajaran dari rumah di masa pandemi covid-19 menjadi keterbatasan bagi guru 3T. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis strategi home visit yang dilakukan oleh guru sebagai implementasi PAUD dari rumah di daerah 3T pada masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan mix method yaitu menggabungkan antara penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Sampel terdiri dari 235 orang guru TK, KB, dan SPS yang ada di Kabupaten Sigi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket. Peneliti juga menggunakan daftar wawancara dan dokumentasi sebagai data pendukung. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan Miles Hubberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sekitar 84,3% guru mengimplementasikan strategi home visit sebagai pembelajaran pada masa pandemi. Adapun tahapannya yakni: 1) tahap persiapan; 2) tahap pelaksanaan; 3) tahap kegiatan lanjutan; dan 4) tahap monitoring dan evaluasi. Strategi home visit ini menjadi solusi bagi guru PAUD dengan segala keterbatasan agar tetap memberikan layanan yang terbaik untuk anak usia dini di daerah 3T.

Abstract

Anak pendek atau stunting, merupakan kondisi gagal tumbuh pada anak yang terjadi sejak bayi dalam kandungan dan pada masa awal setelah bayi lahir. Akan tetapi, kondisi stunting baru nampak setelah bayi berusia dua tahun akibat dari kekurangan gizi kronis sehingga anak terlalu pendek untuk usianya. Kasus stunting ditemukan di Sulawesi Tengah khususnya di Kecamatan Palu Utara. Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) memiliki peran penting dalam berkontribusi mengantisipasi dan menurunkan tingkat stunting pada anak. Data kesehatan anak pada lembaga PAUD, khususnya tinggi badan, berat badan dan lingkar kepala anak, umumnya hanya dicatat tanpa dianalisis maupun dimanfaatkan untuk dimensi layanan kesehatan dan gizi dalam program Holistik Integratif (HI). Keterlibatan PAUD menghadapi fenomena stunting pada anak di Indonesia dapat dilakukan melalui penerapan PAUD berbasis HI secara maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui capaian perkembangan kognitif pada anak yang stunting dan normal. Kriteria stunting ditentukan berdasarkan indeks TB/U <-2 SD. Penelitian ini melibatkan 134 anak TK di Kecamatan Palu Utara. Analisis data dilakukan melalui analisis univariat untuk melihat distribusi frekuensi dan bivariat untuk melihat hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 13 orang anak (9,7%) mengalami stunting dan terdapat 121 orang anak (91,3%) dalam kategori normal. Dilihat dari pencapaian perkembangan kognitif anak stunting, 5,2% belum berkembang dan 5,7% mulai berkembang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara kejadian stunting dengan capaian perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini.

Abstract

This study aims to produce of snakes and ladders game with feasible to increase understanding of children related to earthquake disaster mitigation. Snakes and ladders game will be applied to children aged 5-6 years in Palu city. This research is a research and development according to Borg and Gall. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and questionnaries. Data analysis in the form of quantitative descriptive. The results showed that the assessment of the material validators get an average of 3.63, media validators get an average of 3.8, and disaster validators get an average of 3.75 (feasible category). In the initial field trials, it averaged persentage 78% and was included in the feasible category. Operational field trials get an average persentage of 87% included in the feasible category. Comparative study results obtained sig. (2-tailed) of 0,000 <0.05, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted, which means that "there is a significant difference" between the average post-test results of the control group and the experimental group. The results obtained after applying the snake and ladder game, children can understand and carry out self-rescue activities when simulating an earthquake disaster.

Abstract

This study aimed to implement handwashing dance as children's health literacy during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted in group B2 TK Negeri Model Terpadu Madani with children aged 5-6 years as research subjects. This research used a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that there were six children who were able to carry out the steps to wash their hands properly without assistance, and three children who were able to do the steps with the help of the teacher. In cognitive aspects, children were able to mention the right time to wash their hands, know the benefits of washing hands, and mention the correct order of washing hands. In affective aspects, children want to wash their hands using soap, not waste water when washing their hands, feel happy, want to queue, dry their hands using a cloth or tissue, and throw used tissues into the trash. Meanwhile, in psychomotor aspect children can take steps to wash their hands properly.

Abstract

The montage activity is a work of art produced by children by cutting from several sources and then pasting them into new images with certain themes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of montage activities on children's fine motor skills. This research is an experimental research. The experimental method is a method that provides and uses a phenomenon called an exercise or experiment, and is the most appropriate method for investigating causal relationships. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, data processing was carried out by using the percentage technique and the t test, the t value ≥ t table (12,291 ≥ 1,724) was obtained. So it can be concluded that H is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is an effect of montage activities on the fine motor skills of children in Group B TK Widyatama Tadulako, Mantikulore District. Based on the research results, it is expected that teachers can stimulate children's fine motor skills through montage activities.

Abstract

There are many problems faced by teachers in stimulating children's development. One of them is the 4C skills. Teachers give more assignments contained in the Children's Worksheets, even though in the surrounding environment there are many materials that can be used as learning media. This study aims to develop a learning model by utilizing loose parts media to stimulate children's 4C skills. The type of research used is research and development adapted from Borg Gall, Dick, Carey, Carey, and Hannafin Pack. The research uses material expert validation, language, media, and learning design. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that learning models using loose parts media can stimulate children's 4C skills. Aspects of critical thinking, when finding a problem, children can solve it by continuing to try. Creativity, children have the skills to think outside the box, try to assemble from various loose parts, develop ideas, and find new innovations. Collaboration, children can work together and quickly adapt to others. Communication, children can share thoughts, questions, ideas, and play experiences.

Abstract

The Indonesian people's low creativity index greatly affects the quality of education, starting from the Early Childhood Education (ECE) level to the tertiary level. This study aims to describe the concept of independent learning to stimulate early childhood creativity in the study of Ki Hajar Dewantara's philosophy. This study uses library research to explore the concept of independent learning that is relevant according to the philosophy of Ki Hajar Dewantara. This research method is qualitative, using a descriptive approach. The data collection technique is content analysis with deductive and comparative thinking methods. The results showed that the concept of independent learning, according to Ki Hajar Dewantara's philosophy, was very supportive in stimulating the creativity of early childhood. The concept of independent learning is very suitable to stimulate children's creativity based on the principles of forging, loving, honing, and fostering as well as the tri-N idea (niteni, nirokke, and nambahi). The concept of the Among system education is that the nature of nature is a condition for reviving and achieving progress as quickly as possible, and independence is a condition for restoring and moving children's inner and outer strength so that they can live independently.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji perbedaan kemampuan motorik kasar anak pada dua lokasi yang berbeda yaitu pada daerah pegunungan dan pesisir. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian deskriptif, jumlah populasi 185 sekolah pada daerah pesisir sedangkan pegunungan 222 jumlah tersebut dilakukan penarikan sampel dengan 2 tahap yaitu menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling selanjutnya purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel 57 sampel dengan rincian 45 orang daerah pesisir dan 12 orang pegunungan. Instrumen dan petunjuk tes menggunakan Tes of Gross Motor Development-3. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan dalam beberapa tahapan yaitu perhitungan berdasarkan tabel norma TGMD-3, analisis persentase dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata indeks motorik kasar anak usia dini pada kedua lokasi memiliki selisih perbedaan, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan motorik kasar anak usia dini, anak daerah pesisir lebih baik dibandingkan anak usia dini daerah pegunungan.

Abstract

Early childhood is one of the most vulnerable groups during disasters, yet disaster education at this level is often overlooked. This lack of early preparedness can increase risks when emergencies such as earthquakes occur. To address this problem, this study developed a disaster learning model for early childhood that integrates disaster risk reduction into a contextual and enjoyable learning process. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), the research was conducted at TK Putra Kaili Permata Bangsa in Palu, involving 27 children aged 5–6 years. The model was designed through a play-based approach using child-friendly media such as videos, songs, storytelling, and a modified snakes-and-ladders game, structured in three stages: pre-play, during play, and post-play. Expert validation of instructional design, content, media, and language indicated high feasibility, with most aspects scoring above 80%. Effectiveness testing revealed significant improvements in children’s disaster preparedness across six key aspects, with N-Gain scores ranging from 0.59 to 0.74. These findings highlight the importance of introducing disaster education in early childhood, as the model not only strengthens safety and resilience but also offers a participatory and enjoyable strategy for disaster mitigation learning.
