Abstract

Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian, yaitu siswa kelas VIII-E SMP N 4 Malang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah pembelajaran kooperatif tipe investigasi kelompok yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP N 4 Malang materi persamaan garis lurus. Langkah pembelajaran kooperatif tipe investigasi kelompok yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VIII-E SMP N 4 Malang materi persamaan garis lurus meliputi: siswa berkelompok sesuai dengan kesamaan minat pada suatu topic bahasan, diskusi kelompok dengan pemberian tambahan nilai bagi kelompok yang paling aktif, presentasi hasil diskusi oleh dua wakil kelompok yang ditunjuk oleh kelompok lain, dan diskusi kelas dengan guru hanya sebagai pendamping. Pembelajaran kooperatif tipe investigasi kelompok ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang meliputi aspek kemampuan menjalin kerja sama, kemampuan menuliskan permasalahan dalam bentuk yang mudah dipahami, dan kemampuan menggunakan pengetahuan dan pengalaman yang dimiliki. Meningkatnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa tersebut dapat diketahui dari peningkatan nilai tes siswa, yaitu sebesar 69,44% dari jumlah siswa dan peningkatan keaktifan siswa pada aspek: bekerja sama memecahkan masalah, memberikan pendapat apabila ada teman sekelompok yang belum mengerti, menyelesaikan perbedaan pendapat, dan berkomunikasi dengan teman dan guru selama proses pembelajaran di kelas. This research is a classroom research. Subject of this research is students VIII-E of SMP N 4 Malang. This research supposes to describe the steps of cooperative learning type group investigation that can increase the student’s ability of problem solving of mathematics at class VIII-E of SMP N 4 Malang on the material linear equation. The steps obtained in this research include: students sit with their group according to their same interest in a topic, discussing in group, presenting their group discuss results, and class discussing. This cooperative learning type group investigation can increase the student’s ability of problem solving of mathematics including the ability of making cooperative relation, making the problems be simplerer and be understood easily, and the ability of using knowledge and experiences. The increasing ability of problem solving can be known from upgrading their grade that is 69,44% from the number of students and the increasing of their activities in aspects: cooperative in problem solving, giving opinion if there are members of group do not understand the material, solving the difference opinions and communicating with other members and the teacher as long as the learning process.

Abstract

The problem of initial values and boundary values in dif erential equations is still a problem that is not simple in finding the solution. In this research we will introduce a new method to solve the problem of boundary conditions in ordinary dif erential equations using shooting method and Neural Networks Algorithm (Shooting Neural Networks). The results of this study indicate that the solution obtained by using the shooting method is better than the method of shooting neural networks when the guess point value on the shooting method approaches the exact value. Methods of shooting neural neural networks are best used for problems with unknown exact solutions.

Abstract

Schools play an important role in developing students' skills through various effective learning systems to achieve their learning goals. one way is to foster a love of reading, support to foster a love of reading. Literacy in schools has been implemented in many various madrasas, through program activities carried out. The aim of this study is to: (1) Explain the application of the literacy movement to improve the literacy and critical thinking skills of MI Al Fatah Jatisari Tajinan Malang students. (2) Explain the impact of implementing the literacy movement on increasing the literacy and critical thinking skills of MI Al Fatah Jatisari Tajinan Malang students. (3) Describe the success factors and obstacles in carrying out literacy training to improve students' literacy and critical thinking skills at MI Al Fatah Jatisari Tajinan Malang. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Then the data is analyzed by reducing the data, displaying the data and drawing conclusions. And the results of the research are carrying out a literacy movement at MI Alfatah Kautsar to improve reading, writing and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Asrama Sekolah Bukit Pracha Uppatham dan Buketamong School memiliki tempat ibadah sebagai pusat kegiatan keagamaan anak-anak, seperti sholat dan baca tulis Al Quran. Akan tetapi, tempat ibadah yang kurang bersih dan barang yang terbengkalai menyebabkan pengguna kurang nyaman dalam beribadah sehingga peremajaan tempat ini dianggap perlu untuk meningkatkan kualitas ibadah anak-anak. Selain itu, amalan sunah seperti adzan dan sholawat sebelum sholat juga dikenalkan untuk lebih menyemarakkan masjid. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan metode PAR (Participatory Action Research) dimana penulis berpartisipasi aktif sebagai pembimbing di lokasi pengabdian. Kegiatan meliputi pemberian materi sebagai perwujudan metodologi, pelatihan sebagai bentuk aksinya, dan pembimbingan sebagai wujud partisipasi. Hasil kegiatan meliputi dua aspek, yaitu pembaharuan dan penataan kembali tempat ibadah, dan pembiasaan pembacaan sholawat dan dzikir setelah adzan. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan disimpulkan bahwa transformasi spiritual tidak hanya mencakup perubahan pada infrastruktur fisik tempat ibadah, tetapi juga pada perspektif, persepsi, dan pengalaman individu tentang keagamaan dan spiritualitas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang Sistem Informasi Geografis (GIS) guna mendukung pengelolaan infrastruktur telekomunikasi di Desa Kutorojo, Kecamatan Kajen, Kabupaten Pekalongan. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode survei, penelitian ini melibatkan wawancara mendalam dan observasi lapangan untuk mengumpulkan data terkait kondisi infrastruktur dan kebutuhan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan GIS meningkatkan akses dan kualitas layanan telekomunikasi, dengan 75% rumah tangga kini memiliki akses telekomunikasi yang lebih baik. Mayoritas pengguna melaporkan kepuasan tinggi terhadap kualitas layanan, berkat peningkatan kecepatan dan stabilitas jaringan. Partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan infrastruktur juga meningkat, mencapai 60%, yang berdampak positif pada pemeliharaan jangka panjang. Efisiensi pengelolaan infrastruktur ditingkatkan dengan pengurangan waktu perawatan sebesar 30% dan biaya sebesar 25%. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa GIS adalah solusi efektif dalam pengelolaan infrastruktur telekomunikasi di daerah terpencil, memberikan dampak ekonomi dan sosial yang positif. Penerapan GIS tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat, tetapi juga menawarkan model pengelolaan infrastruktur yang dapat diterapkan di wilayah lain dengan tantangan serupa.

Abstract

The REACT strategy (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring) is indispensable in STEM education, as it cultivates critical thinking, experiential learning, and practical application, all of which are foundational to effective STEM pedagogy. This research evaluates the effectiveness of the REACT (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring) strategy with the STEM approach versus traditional learning methods on flat surfaces in  shapes, specifically regarding students' comprehension of concepts. The study utilised pre-test and post-test experiments with two groups: an experimental class and a control class - selected randomly through the Randomised Pre-Test Post-Test Control Group Design approach. The research was conducted on grade VIII students of MTsN 2 Kediri. The VIII-A experimental class employed the REACT strategy with the STEM approach, while the VIII-C control class used conventional learning models. The N-Gain Score testing method evaluated the increase in students' comprehension of the mathematical concepts. The findings revealed that the experimental class had an average N-Gain Score of , while the control class had an average score of . The average score for comprehending mathematical concepts for the experimental and control classes was , respectively. The independent sample t-test demonstrated that the experimental class achieved significantly better results than the control class. The student response questionnaires indicated that the REACT learning model received an average score of , categorised as "Good Response." The study concludes that the REACT strategy enhanced students' comprehension of concepts more effectively than conventional learning models.

Abstract

The revitalization of Islamic boarding schools in the digital era is a strategic initiative to enhance environmental quality and foster the application of applied technology. This community engagement program aims to establish a clean, healthy, and technologically adaptive environment at Miftahul Huda Islamic Boarding School, Malang. Using a participatory approach—consisting of awareness campaigns, training, and continuous mentoring—the program focused on environmental cleanliness, organic waste composting, and the implementation of a digital information system for student administration. The outcomes revealed significant improvements in students’ environmental awareness, successful organic compost production, and the adoption of digital systems to streamline school management. Beyond improving environmental quality, the program equipped students with relevant digital literacy. This sustainable model offers potential replication in other Islamic boarding schools to support impactful innovation.

Abstract

One of the ways to enhance students’ critical reasoning skills is by using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. It can help students improve critical reasoning skills in mathematics. The research aims to determine the effect of PBL on the critical reasoning abilities of MI Tarbiyatul Huda students. This research employed quantitative research using an experimental approach with a quasi-experimental. This research used a Pre-test and Post-test Control Group Design. The method used to obtain data is using test. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used was hypothesis testing analysis using SPSS Statistics ver. 2.6. Based on the results of the analysis, it is found that the F test shows that the F value = 0.466 with a probability significance level of 0.761 > 0.05. It can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It means that the hypothesis is accepted. It means that there is a significant influence of the PBL model in statistical material on the critical reasoning abilities of class VI MI Tarbiyatul Huda students.

Abstract

Computational thinking (CT) is a fundamental skill that needs to be developed by prospective mathematics teachers to improve problem-solving and logical reasoning. Integrating programming into mathematics learning is an effective approach to training this skill. This study aimed to design a hypothetical learning trajectory (HLT) for developing CT using Python programming on Google Colab. This study used a didactical design research (DDR) framework consisting of three stages: prospective analysis, metapedadidactic analysis, and retrospective analysis. The research participants were prospective mathematics teacher students enrolled in a computer programming course. Data were collected through observation, code artefacts, and reflective interviews. The results showed that HLT, designed in stages, improved the four main components of CT: decomposition, abstraction, pattern recognition, and algorithmic thinking. The students experienced improvements in breaking down problems, devising more efficient solutions, recognising patterns in code structures, and systematically designing algorithms. In addition, Google Colab supports learning by providing a collaborative and accessible programming environment. However, minor syntax errors and lack of attention to indentation were found. This study recommends using structured debugging strategies and project-based learning in optimizing CT development. The findings indicate that the integration of programming into the education of prospective mathematics teachers can equip them with essential CT skills to support technology-based mathematics teaching.
