Abstract

Calculus is one of the subjects that must be taken by students majoring in mathematics education at the Teachers' Training College Siliwangi, this course is given to students in semester 4. From the analysis of learning obstacle, it can be seen that almost all mahsaiswa have difficulty learning in a calculus course. This is because the factors that influence in solving the problems given by the researchers. From the test results can also be seen the answer given by many students who make mistakes, be it in using formulas, operating, to answer directly without a process and students can not memjawab about a given test. These difficulties lead to poor results. It can be concluded that mahsiwa not been able to understand the material given or students only attend learning without any understanding of the material provided.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was will explain students' mistake when working on math problem on the lesson of flat-sided geometry material at SMP Negeri 8 Cimahi Class VIII, namely 27 people. Used qualitative research with descriptive method. How to collect data, namely test instruments and interview with seven description question. The results of the student's response test for question number five were 29.63%, for question number seven it was 37.04%, and for question number three it was 40.74% still very low. Research conducted by students is difficult when working on these question. Explanation of data and assessment of students made part type of errors, is: (1) students' difficulties in understanding concept; (2) difficulty understanding question or not being careful when understanding question so that students' response are incomplete; (3) difficulty in understanding mathematics theory or the prerequisites of the Pythagorean theorem; (4) lack of accuracy when working on the calculation phase. This proves that class VIII students are very low when working on the problem of building a flat side room.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis minat belajar siswa kelas VIII pada materi pokok bangun ruang sisi datar dengan berbantuan aplikasi geogebra. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dari penelitian ini merupakan siswa SMP kelas VIII sebanyak 11 orang siswa, yang terdiri dari 5 orang siswa laki-laki dan 6 orang siswa perempuan. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan berupa instrumen angket skala minat belajar siswa yang memuat 5 indikator pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar dengan berbantuan aplikasi geogebra yang terdiri dari 14 pernyataan dengan masing – masing 7 pernyaatan positif dan 7 pernyataan negatif. Teknik pengolahan data yang diperoleh menggunakan Microsoft Excel. Berdasarkan hasil analisis pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar siswa pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar dengan berbantuan aplikasi geogebra mendapatkan respon positif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika salah satunya pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar. Hal tersebut terbukti pada persentase rata – rata keseluruhan mencapai 76,89% dengan klasifikasi baik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out: (1) The learning activities of students of class XII IIK MAN Kota Cimahi on average inequality material using the Problem Based learning model. (2) Whether the learning outcomes of students of class XII IIK MAN Kota Cimahi average inequality material using  Problem Based Learning can increase. Research is a class action study, this study is conducted in 2 cycles with each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. Before performing class actions are done ¬pre-test  to students, then carried out cycle I and cycle II activities using the Problem Based Learning model. Based on the results of this study shows an increase in student learning outcomes seen from the completion of student learning outcomes. In cycle I there was an increase of 44% then in cycle II there was an increase of 69% in learning outcomes more than 7. This shows that the improvement of student learning outcomes of class XII IIK MAN Kota Cimahi can be improved through the Problem Based Learning model.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the feasibility and validity of problem-based learning worksheets assisted by liveworksheets. This development research was carried out using the 4D method which includes the Define, Design, and Development stages. In the analysis stage of the feasibility and validity test data, questionnaires and documentation were collected. The feasibility of teaching materials was analyzed based on the results of expert validation and the practicality of teaching materials based on the results of students' answers. The results of this study indicate that the tested LKPD is feasible and valid as learning material for students. Expert validation results produce an average score of 89.8% with a very valid category, it can be said that it is feasible to use in the field. The results of the student response questionnaire analysis showed that LKPD was considered practical by students with a percentage of 75% in the limited trial while 82% in the broad trial with the very practical category. This can show that the problem-based learning worksheet on social arithmetic material assisted by the liveworksheet is very good for use during the mathematics learning process.

Abstract

The research aims to investigate the achievement of students' mathematical representation abilities in the material of flat-sided space after receiving a problem-based learning model. This study employs a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design, as there is no randomization of samples in both classes. The population consists of eighth-grade students at SMP Dharma Kartini, with the research sample being class VIII-A as the control group and class VIII-B as the experimental group, each consisting of 35 students. The instruments and learning tools used include pretest and posttest questions, as well as LKPD containing material on flat-sided space and the stages of the PBL model. The obtained data will be processed using statistical tests through a two-sample independent t-test, preceded by a normality test and followed by the Mann-Whitney test. The results of the study interpret that there is a difference in the achievement of students' mathematical representation abilities after the PBL model is applied to the flat-sided space material.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of students' mathematical representation ability after applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model in junior high school students. The research method used is a quasi-experimental research with a Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample of this study consisted of 30 students in the experimental class and 30 in the control class. The sample in this study was taken by simple random sampling. Data collection was used using a mathematical representation ability test sheet. The data analysis techniques used are the N-Gain test, and the independent t-test. The results of the study were obtained: (1) The application of the PBL model can improve the ability of mathematical representation with an average N-Gain value of 0.43 which is classified as "moderate", (2) Based on the independent t-test, obtained 0.000, it can be concluded that the mathematical representation ability of students who are taught the PBL model is better than the mathematical representation ability of students who are taught with regular learning.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the increase in students mathematical peoblem solving abilities after receiving the problem based learning model. The research method used wa a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group research design. The population of this study was all students of class VIII MTsN 3 Bandung Barat consisting of four classes. The sample for this research was class VIII C students as the control class applying the normal learning model and class VIII A students as the experimental class applying the problem based learning model. The data obtained was then analyzed quantitatively using the difference between two means test. The process off analizing data involves calculating the average pre-test and post-test scores, the normality test, data with normal distribution continues with the homgeneity test and finally teh t9test. The research result show that there is an increase in students mathematical problem solving abilities after using the problem based learning model.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan salah satu program yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan kapasitas pendidik. Kegiatan ini mengundang 100 pendidik perwakilan dari Persatuan Guru Republik Indonesia (PGRI) Provinsi Jawa Barat. Program ini dirancang untuk merefleksikan model pembelajaran inovatif berbasis media IT dengan pendekatan deep learning. Deep learning dalam konteks ini merujuk pada pendekatan pedagogis yang mendorong peserta didik untuk berpikir kritis, reflektif, dan bermakna dalam memahami materi pembelajaran. Melalui serangkaian pelatihan, diskusi reflektif, dan praktik langsung, para peserta diajak untuk mengevaluasi praktik pembelajaran mereka selama ini dan mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip deep learning dalam rancangan pembelajaran yang inovatif berbasis media IT di kelas. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman tentang konsep deep learning serta mampu merancang strategi pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dengan menggunakan media-media yang berbasis pada teknologi dan berorientasi pada pembelajaran bermakna. Kegiatan ini juga membuka ruang refleksi yang konstruktif bagi guru untuk terus mengembangkan diri secara profesional. Data dikumpulkan secara berkelanjutan melalui observasi dan wawancara sehingga guru bisa merefleksikan dan melakukan perbaikan. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan melalui transformasi praktik pembelajaran di lingkungan PGRI Jawa Barat.
