Abstract

The research is based on the urgency of Indonesian learning in the Covid-19 pandemic situation. In the covid-19 pandemic, some strenuous effort is needed to prevent or stop the virus spread. One action in dealing with the covid-19 pandemic situation is Learning from Home. One application that is used in Learning from Home is Google Form. This study aimed to determine the implementation of Learning from Home using Google Form application toward online learning assessment. The research used Pre- experimental design methods One Shoot Case Study type with grade 3 students of Cimahi City Elementary School as the research subject. The result showed that Learning from Home with google form application has the fluctuation in assessment result based on a theme with the same material delivery technic. This result means that variations of media are needed to increase learning online results.

Abstract

There are several problems in reading. Based on findings in the field in several elementary schools, it turns out that the learning methods created by teachers in teaching reading have not been able to encourage children to want to read. This is because the method of learning to read is less interesting in reading so that children have trouble in reading. This research is qualitative research, namely research to describe the problem and research focus. This research aims to determine the use of students' use of the Digital Scratch media learning model in improving beginning reading skills in lower grades. Meanwhile, the data collection technique is triangulated as a data collection technique that combines various existing data collection techniques and data sources, namely through interviews, observation, and documentation so that the answers to problems are clear and detailed. The sample in this research were students in class I and II (low class). Based on the research results, it was concluded that the Scratch digital media learning model can reach the initial reading proficiency level from the initial reading level to the initial reading proficiency level.

Abstract

Membaca pemahaman merupakan aspek penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Melalui pembelajaran membaca pemahaman siswa didik diasah kemampuannya untuk mengambil makna atau gagasan dari sebuah bacaan. Laporan dari beberapa lembaga pemerhati pendidikan menunjukan kemampuan membaca pemahaman pada siswa sekolah dasar masih rendah. Pada masa pandemi, ditengah tantangan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman, pembelajaran terpaksa dilakukan secara daring sebagai bentuk kepatuhan terhadap himbauan pemerintah guna memperlambat penyebaran virus Covid-19. Beberapa hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya pengaruh positif dan manfaat dari penggunaan aplikasi pada proses pembelajaran. Penggunaan aplikasi dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif model pembelajaran yang menarik bagi siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengekplorasi implementasi pembelajaran daring melalui aplikasi Zoom Cloud Meetings dalam pembelajaran membaca pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan metode ekploratif dengan teknik analisis kualitatif. Pemilihan penggunaan metode penelitian eksploratif dengan teknik analisis kualitatif dikarenakan peneliti ingin menggali secara luas kebenaran, menemukan suatu fenomena atau kecenderungan, dan menguak kemungkinan adanya berbagai temuan tentang implementasi pembelajaran daring terhadap pembelajaran membaca pemahaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan sebagian besar responden memberikan pendapat yang positif tentang implementasi pembelajaran membaca pemahaman secara daring. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pengembangan riset-riset selanjutnya, dan untuk memberikan masukan bagaimana mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan aplikasi guna meningkatan kemampuan belajar membaca pemahaman.

Abstract

Society must be able to adapt in various ways due to the rapid progress of science and technology in the era of globalization. One of the components is education, which is fundamental for the progress of a country. Science process skills are skills for developing the perspective needed to build natural science. This research was conducted to see whether science process skills improved after applying the STEM learning model to environmental conservation business materials, in class V students at SDN 1 Ciledug located in the city of West Bandung. This research was carried out by designing a pretest-posttest group and using a science process skills test, based on the indicators that had been designed. Data analysis to determine differences in perceptions regarding improving students' science process skills, before and after implementing the STEM learning model. The results of data analysis show that science process abilities have increased on the topic of environmental conservation efforts with the application of the STEM learning model. The resulting score with the average value of science process skills increased from application of 40.51 to 85.11. This improvement in skills can be seen from the N-Gain result value of 0.75 which is in the high classification. Thus, the research results that have been presented suggest that teachers can use the STEM learning model as an alternative in science subjects, especially to improve science process skills.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the increase in understanding of the concept of force and motion in class IV elementary school students in learning using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The research subjects were 30 class IV students at SDN Sirnagalih in Ngamprah District, West Bandung Regency. Data was obtained by giving pretest and posttest questions. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model has succeeded in improving the ability to understand concepts in fourth grade elementary school students. This is proven by the average N-Gain value obtained at 0.78 with high criteria. This means that the level of effectiveness of using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in increasing fourth grade elementary school students' understanding of concepts in force and motion material has a high level of effectiveness.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan salah satu program yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan kapasitas pendidik. Kegiatan ini mengundang 100 pendidik perwakilan dari Persatuan Guru Republik Indonesia (PGRI) Provinsi Jawa Barat. Program ini dirancang untuk merefleksikan model pembelajaran inovatif berbasis media IT dengan pendekatan deep learning. Deep learning dalam konteks ini merujuk pada pendekatan pedagogis yang mendorong peserta didik untuk berpikir kritis, reflektif, dan bermakna dalam memahami materi pembelajaran. Melalui serangkaian pelatihan, diskusi reflektif, dan praktik langsung, para peserta diajak untuk mengevaluasi praktik pembelajaran mereka selama ini dan mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip deep learning dalam rancangan pembelajaran yang inovatif berbasis media IT di kelas. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman tentang konsep deep learning serta mampu merancang strategi pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dengan menggunakan media-media yang berbasis pada teknologi dan berorientasi pada pembelajaran bermakna. Kegiatan ini juga membuka ruang refleksi yang konstruktif bagi guru untuk terus mengembangkan diri secara profesional. Data dikumpulkan secara berkelanjutan melalui observasi dan wawancara sehingga guru bisa merefleksikan dan melakukan perbaikan. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan melalui transformasi praktik pembelajaran di lingkungan PGRI Jawa Barat.

Abstract

Abstrak Guru sekolah dasar berperan penting dalam menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang tidak hanya berorientasi pada pengetahuan, tetapi juga menumbuhkan refleksi dan kesadaran diri peserta didik. Dalam konteks ini, penguasaan teknik bercerita menjadi strategi efektif untuk menerapkan pembelajaran bermakna berbasis deep learning yang mendorong keterlibatan emosional dan pemaknaan pengalaman belajar. Namun, banyak guru belum memperoleh pelatihan yang membantu mereka memadukan storytelling dengan praktik reflektif guna mendukung kreativitas dan kesejahteraan emosional. Program pengabdian masyarakat “Bercerita untuk Jiwa” dirancang untuk menjawab kebutuhan pengembangan profesional guru sekolah dasar melalui pelatihan storytelling berbasis deep learning dan praktik self-healing. Kegiatan difokuskan pada empat aspek utama: pemahaman pembelajaran bermakna, keterampilan storytelling edukatif, integrasi nilai budaya lokal, serta penguatan kesejahteraan emosional. Dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), guru terlibat aktif dalam perencanaan, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi, sedangkan data diperoleh melalui kuesioner pra–pasca pelatihan. Sebanyak 32 guru dari KKG Kolonel Masturi Cimahi berpartisipasi, dan hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan pedagogis, kreativitas, dan keyakinan diri (Effect Size = 1,9 atau efek sangat besar). Pelatihan sederhana namun bermakna ini melahirkan karya cerita guru dan mendorong pengembangan soal kontekstual yang menciptakan pengalaman belajar lebih hidup dan relevan bagi siswa. Abstract Primary school teachers play a vital role in creating learning processes that go beyond knowledge acquisition by fostering students’ reflection and self-awareness. In this context, mastery of storytelling techniques serves as an effective strategy for implementing meaningful learning based on deep learning, which encourages emotional engagement and the construction of personal meaning. However, many teachers have not received adequate training to integrate storytelling with reflective practice that supports creativity and emotional well-being. The community service program “Bercerita untuk Jiwa” was designed to address the professional development needs of primary school teachers through deep learning-based storytelling training and self-healing practices. The activities focused on four main aspects: understanding meaningful learning, developing educational storytelling skills, integrating local cultural values, and strengthening emotional well-being. Using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, teachers were actively involved in planning, training, mentoring, and evaluation, while data were collected through pre- and post-training questionnaires. Thirty-two teachers from the Kolonel Masturi Teacher Working Group participated, and the analysis results showed improvements in pedagogical skills, creativity, and self-confidence (Effect Size = 1.9, indicating a very large effect). This simple yet meaningful training inspired teachers to produce original stories and develop contextual word problems, creating more engaging and relevant learning experiences for students.
