Abstract

Peran wanita yang semakin maju seiring perkembangan zaman membuat mereka memiliki peluang untuk mengembangkan karir diberbagai bidang. Ketika wanita memiliki karier di luar rumah, terutama setelah menikah, mereka menghadapi tantangan ganda, seperti membagi waktu antara pekerjaan dan tanggung jawab rumah tangga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana strategi wanita karir dalam menjaga keharmonisan rumah tangga di Distrik Merauke Kabupaten Merauke. Fokusnya pada peran ganda wanita sebagai karir dan ibu, serta faktor yang memengaruhi pilihan karir wanita dan pandangan Islam terhadap peran wanita dalam masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian lapangan, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang mendorong wanita menjadi wanita karir meliputi pendidikan, ekonomi, dan keinginan untuk aktualisasi diri. Islam menekankan bahwa perempuan harus dihormati dan tidak boleh dipaksa untuk bekerja di luar rumah. Wanita dan laki-laki dianggap setara dalam pandangan Islam, dengan peran utama beribadah kepada Allah. Strategi yang disarankan untuk wanita karir adalah mengelola waktu dengan keluarga tanpa mengabaikan tugas pekerjaan, dengan dukungan komitmen dan komunikasi dalam keluarga serta pembagian tugas domestik. Dengan demikian, keharmonisan keluarga bergantung pada peran dan kewajiban suami serta pemberian nafkah yang cukup.

Abstract

Teachers as an element in education not only play an important role as agents who provide knowledge but also as agents who provide assistance and support for students to overcome difficulties in the learning process. Teachers often become subjects, especially in discourses that discuss management, character building, and the effectiveness of the learning process so that the discourse of teachers as subjects who have a role in overcoming student difficulties tends to be neglected in scientific discussions. In line with that, this study focuses on the question "What is the role of teachers in overcoming students' difficulties in understanding and reading the Qur'an". To answer this question, this study used a descriptive qualitative approach by conducting observations and interviews with teachers and students. The findings in this study show that teachers have a crucial role in overcoming difficulties in understanding and reading the Qur'an among students in elementary schools. The role of teachers applied through personal approach, conducting learning evaluation, and providing interactive materials to students has been able to overcome students' difficulties in understanding and reading the Qur'an.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the phenomenon of differences in the timing of Friday prayers in a number of mosques in South Jayapura District, reflecting variations in the application of Sharia law due to differences ininterpretation of the timing of prayers. The study aims to identify the factors causing these differences and analyze them from Fiqih and Ilmu Falak review. Using a qualitative method with a normative-empirical approach and descriptive-analysis research type, data was collected through in-depth interviews with religious leaders and mosque administrators, as well as direct observations at nine mosques. The results of the study indicate that differences in the timing of Friday prayers are influenced by internal mosque policies, the discipline of staff, the readiness of congregants, differences in the use of clocks or timers, and weak coordination between mosques. In fiqh, Friday prayers are valid as long as they are performed within the Zuhr time frame (after zawal until before Asr), while astronomy precisely determines the time through calculation, which is 11:52 WIT. In conclusion, these differences reflect the dynamics between the flexibility of Islamic law and astronomical precision, which require synergy to achieve uniformity in the timing of Friday prayers in the region.
