Abstract

The number of work accidents in production employees is high. One reason is the lack of compliance of employees with workplace safety rules. The necessary aspects that can improve workplace safety are safety climate and safety motivation. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of safety climate on safety behavior both directly and indirectly mediated by safety motivation. Three scales were used in this study, namely the safety behavior scale, the safety climate scale, and the safety motivation scale. The Cronbach’s Alpha coefficients were 0.898, 0.922, and 0.896. The respondents were 78 employees in the production, processing, and quality assurance section. Data were analyzed using regression analysis. The result showed the direct effect (β = 0.272) and the indirect effect of safety climate on safety behavior (β = 0.281). The effect of climate safety on safety behavior was partially mediated by safety motivation.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Salah satu tren yang paling populer di kalangan Generasi Z adalah bermain game online. Bermain game online secara berlebihan dapat menimbulkan Internet Gaming Disorder. Internet Gaming Disorder adalah kondisi gangguan mental terkait perilaku penggunaan game online secara konsisten dan berlebihan yang dapat menimbulkan beberapa dampak negatif seperti memperburuk kondisi hubungan sosial, mengganggu aktivitas dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, merusak pola tidur, pekerjaan, pendidikan dan lain-lain sehingga diperlukannya beberapa intervensi dalam mencegah Internet Gaming Disorder. Tujuan Penelitian ini dapat memberikan wawasan mengenai intervensi yang efektif untuk menangani kecanduan game online pada remaja Generasi Z. Metode: Desain penelitian yang dilakukan adalah literature review atau tinjauan pustaka dengan menggunakan sumber dari nasional maupun internasional. Pencarian dilakukan melalui basis data Google Scholar. Hasil: Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan beberapa intervensi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mencegah Internet Gaming Disorder pada remaja Generasi Z. Diantaranya adalah, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Peer Counseling Group Counseling & Self- Help Group,Teknik Hipnoterapi, serta Teknik Self-Management. Kesimpulan: Dari seluruh intervensi yang telah di teliti, dapat disimpulkan bahwa keseluruhan intervensi memiliki keefektifan dalam mengatasi internet gaming disorder pada remaja.

Abstract

Loneliness is an emotional condition that humans experience as social beings, which can be felt physically and psychologically. Loneliness can have a negative impact on mental health, e.g., causing a sense of isolation, stress, depression, and the development of suicidal tendencies. Several studies have shown variations in the correlation results between loneliness and suicidal behavior. This study aimed to analyze the correlation between loneliness and suicidal behavior across 19 studies (2015–2024) through a meta-analysis. This study used two artifacts, namely sampling and measurement errors. The results of the meta-analysis based on sampling error resulted in a correlation of 0.45, and a correlation of 0.51 was found when accounting for measurement error. The magnitude of the correlation indicates a moderate relationship. Positive correlation results suggest that loneliness can contribute to the emergence of suicidal behavior.

Abstract

Academic hardiness is a personality trait where people can suppress the negative effect of academic pressure and perceive academic pressure as a challenge. Academic hardiness is important to students because it can help them through college. This study aims to describe different levels of academic hardiness in various backgrounds such as students who does part time, student who works, graduate students, and difference between academic hardiness in woman and man. This study uses literature with narrative review as a design. The result of this study mainly show that students tend to have high academic hardiness. Academic hardiness is an importantthing to student as it will help them to see assignments as something challenging that needs to be finished.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the resilience of individual survivors of natural disasters and identify the factors that play a role in shaping their resilience. The method used is a literature review of articles or research reports published in the last 7 years, from 2016-2023. Data collection uses article search techniques on Google Scholar. The number of articles analyzed was 10 articles. Quality assessment is based on journal indexation in Sinta and Garuda. The data synthesis technique used was thematic analysis. The results of this research obtained an overview of the resilience of natural disaster survivors in terms of seven aspects of resilience, namely emotion regulation, impulse control, causal analysis, optimism, empathy, self-efficacy, and reaching out. Of the 10 articles analyzed, four articles discussed these seven aspects of resilience. In this study, the factors that influence the resilience of natural disaster survivors are grouped into two factors, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors consist of: (1) social factors; (2) social capital factors, and; (3) economic factors. External factors consist of: (1) institutional factors, and; (2) infrastructure factors. The findings are expected to enrich the literature on disaster psychology and resilience and become the basis for developing psychosocial programs or interventions for natural disaster survivors.

Abstract

Generasi milenial saat ini disebut-sebut sebagai generasi yang mendominasi pekerja dalam perusahaan-perusahaan di Indonesia. Namun, berdasarkan oleh data yang didapatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan generasi milenial berada di tingkat paling rendah. Perusahaan dengan karyawan yang memiliki kepuasan kerja yang rendah akan mengurangi produktivitas dan efektivitas dalam bekerja. Studi literatur ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang dapat memengaruhi kepuasan kerja karyawan generasi milenial di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan menganalisis 10 artikel ilmiah sebagai sumber data. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu karyawan generasi milenial untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang dapat memengaruhi kepuasan kerjanya sehingga dapat lebih produktif dan nyaman dalam bekerja.

Abstract

Pada tahap perkembangan dewasa muda individu akan mengalami krisis psikososial antara intimasi dengan isolasi. Individu yang tidak berhasil membangun intimasi dengan orang lain akan mengalami perasaan kesepian. Salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kesepian adalah jenis kelamin. Beberapa penelitian menemukan laki-laki yang memiliki tingkat kesepian lebih tinggi dibanding perempuan, namun beberapa temuan lain justru menemukan perempuan yang lebih merasa kesepian dibanding laki-laki bahkan terdapat temuan yang tidak menemukan perbedaan sama sekali. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini ingin mengetahui perbedaan tingkat kesepian antara laki-laki dan perempuan dewasa muda yang tidak berpacaran. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non-probability sampling dengan model convenience sampling. Adapun kriteria responden dalam penelitian ini adalah berusia 18 “ 40 tahundan sedang tidak berpacaran. Kesepian diukur dengan Revised University of California, Los Angeles Loneliness Scale Version 3 (R-UCLA 3) yang memiliki reliabilitas sebesar 0,895. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Independent Sample t-Test pada 110 responden menemukan t hitung sebesar 1,060 (t hitung < t Tabel 1,982) dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,292 (p > 0,05) yang berarti tidak terdapat perbedaan tingkat kesepian antara laki-laki dan perempuan dewasa muda yang tidak berpacaran.

Abstract

Literature review bertujuan untuk mengkaji karakteristik kognitif anak-anak dengan Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) melalui penilaian menggunakan Skala Kecerdasan Wechsler untuk Anak-Anak, Edisi Keempat (WISC-IV). Penilaian kecerdasan yang dilakukan mencakup empat indeks utama: Pemahaman Verbal (VCI), Penalaran Perseptual (PRI), Memori Kerja (WMI), dan Kecepatan Pemrosesan (PSI), yang memberikan wawasan tentang berbagai aspek kognitif pada individu dengan ASD. Berdasarkan tinjauan terhadap 11 artikel, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor PRI secara konsisten lebih tinggi dibandingkan indeks lainnya, yang mengindikasikan kekuatan dalam penalaran kompleks, visual-spasial, dan nonverbal. Sebaliknya, skor PSI yang rendah menunjukkan adanya tantangan dalam hal kecepatan pemrosesan dan keterampilan motorik. Heterogenitas skor WMI mengungkapkan keberagaman dalam profil kognitif anak-anak dengan ASD. Penemuan ini memiliki implikasi signifikan untuk pengembangan intervensi yang disesuaikan, terutama dalam hal perhatian, keterampilan organisasi, dan penyelesaian tugas yang kompleks. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang aspek-aspek kognitif pada anak-anak dengan ASD, yang sangat penting bagi pendidik, tenaga medis, dan pembuat kebijakan dalam menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang inklusif dan mendukung perkembangan mereka secara optimal.

Abstract

COVID-19 is an infectious disease that has spread widely and has increased throughout the world, including Indonesia. This does not only have an impact on health, the economy, transportation, but also has an impact on the world of education, including higher academic education. As a result of this condition, the government issued various policies in which students were required to take online learning to prevent the transmission of COVID-19. Changes in this system can trigger the emergence of academic stress in students. Academic stress is a reaction that arises in individuals when faced with academic demands. This paper aims to conduct a literature review of studies that explain student academic stress during the COVID-19 pandemic. Literature review was conducted on 7 studies with varying methods and levels of academic stress. The results of the literature review show that the academic stress experienced by students during the COVID-19 pandemic is caused by ineffectiveness during the learning process and the many demands they experience.

Abstract

Pandemic COVID-19 is an outbreak of the condition of the spread of the corona virus (COVID-19) throughout the world. This requires many countries, one of which is Indonesia, to carry out high-scale social restrictions according to the rules of the central government. This condition has an impact on the world of education where previously teaching and learning activities were always carried out offline (face to face) but now must be done online (online). The COVID-19 pandemic has caused students to experience emotional separation from their immediate environment such as family, friends, decreased performance, study period, and experienced pressure due to quarantine. Psychological well-being is needed in order to create a maximum and comfortable learning process for students. This study aims to explain the factors that can increase the Psychological Well-being of Students during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The literature review was conducted on 10 literatures with varying characteristics and number of respondents. The results of the literature review show that there are 6 types of factors that can improve psychological well-being, namely emotion regulation, gratitude, social support, time management, psychological capital, and coping strategies.
