Abstract

The Indonesian nation began to promote the reform era of regional autonomy, contribute significantly to the local independence, on the other hand the level of investment in road infrastructure in Indonesia in general tend to be less adequate. These conditions have an impact on decreasing the level of system efficiency and effectiveness of planning, implementation and maintenance of existing infrastructure, with consequent emergence of an urgent need to establish the accuracy of the policy directions that can ensure the availability of financing road maintenance is continuous.Concept of in developed countries by way of charge on road users directly as a function of fixed costs and variable costs of road class, management and maintenance, and can provide enough income for the implementation of the road program, by providing an institutional device whereby certain income streams can be channeled to public sector units which can be used without going through the procedures and review of the general budget. Source of income consists of the fuel tax, vehicle tax, vehicle weight, fines for overloading. As an illustration of current conditions, road maintenance costs resulting from fuel tax revenues to cover ± only 25% of the total maintenance funding requirements, while in another country fuel tax revenues reached ± 90%. Key Words: Financing Road, Autonomy, Road Revenue,.

Abstract

3% dari total rumah tangga warga modern biasanya tinggal di wilayah perumahan, jumlah tersebut menimbulkan bangkitan pergerakan setiap hari yang memerlukan penanganan sarana transportasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menyusun model bangkitan pergerakan yang berasal dari perumahan, dengan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap bangkitan pergerakan pada lokasi perumahan, sehingga dapat dipergunakan untuk memprediksi besarnya bangkitan yang akan terjadi seandainya akan dibangun lokasi perumahan yang baru. Kebutuhan transportasi warga perumahan sangat dominan dalam aktifitas sehari-hari, sehingga diperlukan respon tentang aktifitas dan moda transportasi, kondisi warga, serta memodelkan tingkat kemudahan melaksanakan aktifitas transportasi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara pengisian kuesioner oleh responden dan wawancara (in-depth interview) dengan satuan rumah tangga (household). Penentuan sampel dilakukan secara acak yang distratifikasi (stratified random sampling), dengan peubah bebas (X1) kondisi jalan lingkungan, (X2) tingkat kemudahan memperoleh angkutan umum, (X3) kepemilikan sepeda motor dan (X4) kepemilikan  mobil.  Dari analisis regresi diperoleh nilai tingkat kemudahan melaksanakan aktifitas transportasi (Y) = 2,4303 + 0,1265  X1+ 0,1207 X2 +  0,2367 X3  +  0.4687 X4

Abstract

This research aims to increase understanding of electronics and control systems practicum using Proteus software and practicum directly using electronic components. Proteus software is used to complement the limited equipment in the electrical laboratory and control laboratory. Data was collected using the success rate of cadets in increasing their practical understanding of electronics and control systems courses using Proteus software to complete the practicum using electronic components and simulators in learning from 16 meetings and added with UTS and UAS. The use of Proteus software for practical activities is based on the need to improve cadet skills which is based on the fact that around 76% of cadets who take part in electronics and control systems practicum do not understand electronic circuits because the practicum only uses a simulator board so it needs to be combined with Proteus software to better understand the material involved. given. Apart from the limitations of electronic component equipment, Proteus software is used. The results showed that using Proteus software, 97% of cadets were able to take part in this learning, which had a positive impact on learning outcomes and cadet activities.

Abstract

Kondisi infrastruktur yang kurang memadai di Dusun Ngobo, khususnya sistem drainase, telah lama menjadi penghambat aktivitas warga dan menurunkan produktivitas masyarakat. Melalui program pengabdian kepada masyarakat, tim dari Politeknik Maritim Negeri Indonesia bekerja sama dengan warga setempat untuk membangun gorong-gorong sebagai solusi terhadap permasalahan genangan air dan kerusakan jalan. Kegiatan ini menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif yang mencakup survei lapangan, perencanaan teknis, pelaksanaan pembangunan, serta evaluasi pasca proyek. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa titik-titik strategis di wilayah tersebut mengalami genangan saat hujan deras akibat tidak adanya saluran pembuangan air yang memadai. Solusi yang diterapkan meliputi pembangunan gorong-gorong beton bertulang dan pelatihan masyarakat dalam pemeliharaan saluran. Evaluasi awal menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kelancaran akses jalan dan penurunan risiko banjir. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pembangunan berbasis kebutuhan lokal dengan pendekatan kolaboratif dapat memberikan dampak berkelanjutan terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat. Model ini diharapkan menjadi contoh bagi pelaksanaan program serupa di wilayah pedesaan lainnya.

Abstract

The Reverse Osmosis Plant (RO) is a critical system for supplying freshwater on board ships to meet accommodation and operational needs. This study aims to identify the causes of reduced freshwater production in the RO Plant aboard the MT. Golden Splendor and to propose optimization strategies. A qualitative approach was employed through direct observation, interviews with engineering officers, and analysis of logbook data collected during a 12-month sea training period. The findings indicate that the main causes of inefficiency include clogged filters and membranes, leakage in the ejector pump, and inadequate routine maintenance. These issues led to a decline in freshwater production from 1000 liters/hour to 700 liters/hour. After corrective measures such as filter replacement, membrane cleaning, and pump repairs were implemented, production increased back to 1000 liters/hour. The results highlight the importance of scheduled maintenance and system monitoring to ensure optimal RO performance. The study recommends strict adherence to maintenance procedures and enhanced system supervision to improve efficiency and ensure the sustainability of freshwater production on board.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang cepat dan sulit dikendalikan menghambat perkembangan usaha UMKM warga dusun Ngobo, Kecamatan Karangjati, Kabupaten Semarang. Penjualan dan pemasaran produk hasil UMKM masih dilakukan secara konvensional dengan cara dititipkan di pasar. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pelatihan digital marketing dilakukan menggunakan metode pendekatan klasikal. Seluruh peserta ditempatkan pada ruang yang dapat menampung 50 peserta. Metode yang digunakan dalam pendekatan klasikal ini adalah dengan mode ceramah dan praktek secara langsung. Peserta mengedit foto produk menggunakan Canva, membuat caption dan hashtag sesuai dengan produk untuk kemudian dibagikan di instagram dengan mention dan tag akun instagram @promomakansmg.

Abstract

The development of technology in the maritime sector is very rapid in the manufacture of aluminum ships. Friction Stir Welding (FSW) is a green technology in the metal joining process. Post Welding Heat Treatment (PWHT) is one way to increase the loss of strength of the material connection after the FSW process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of FSW results before and after PWHT. Aluminum alloy (AA) series 5052 and 6061 were used as research materials because they are resistant to seawater. FSW parameters were spindle speed 1500 rpm (clockwise), travel speed 30 mm/min, tool depth 0.2 mm, and tool tilt 1o. PWHT parameters were heating the FSW material in a furnace to a temperature of 550°C (10, 30 minutes), water quenching, and artificial aging to a temperature of 180°C for 7 hours. The material was characterized by tensile testing, hardness, and micrography. The highest tensile strength and hardness values were 216 MPa and 68 HV, the smallest and uniform grain size in the weld zone and base metal areas were obtained at PWHT parameters of 30 minutes.

Abstract

The extruder-type floating pellet machine is a form of appropriate technology that works by using a screw system to push the raw material while applying pressure to form dense pellets. The main source of raw material for making these pellets comes from trash fish, which are small fish caught by fishermen that are unfit for consumption and have low economic value. Trash fish are relatively cheap because they are classified as non-economical, but they have great potential for use as fish feed. Their distinctive strong aroma can stimulate fish appetite, while their relatively high protein content makes them an ideal source of nutrition. Before use, the trash fish are first dried and then ground using a flour machine to achieve a fine texture. The floured material is then mixed and the moisture content is adjusted to around 42%, so that the extrusion process can run optimally when using the extruder-type pellet machine. The material formulation consists of 70% trash fish meal, 15% corn meal, and 15% wheat flour. The resulting pellets are then tested in a feed laboratory and show protein levels ranging from 30-40%, depending on the quality of the trash fish raw material used. This community service activity involves fish farmer groups in the Beji area, East Ungaran District, which is expected to increase fish farmer insight on how to make floating pellets using an extruder type pellet printing machine.
