Abstract

Research aims: This study explores the effect of Green Human Resources Management (GHRM) practices on Business Sustainability through Green Work Engagement and Green Innovative Work Behavior in the context of furniture SMEs in Jepara. The research is underpinned by the AMO concept (Ability, Motivation, Opportunity) theory, with the objective of promoting pro-environmental business commitments and enhancing sustainable performance.Design/Methodology/Approach: This descriptive quantitative research employs explanatory analysis using SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares). Data were collected through purposive sampling from 116 furniture SMEs in Jepara Regency. The factors were assessed on a Likert scale, and statistical analysis was performed to evaluate the proposed relationships.Research findings: The findings reveal that GHRM practices significantly positively affect Green Innovative Work Behavior and Green Work Engagement. Furthermore, Green Innovative Work Behavior and Engagement significantly influence Business Sustainability. However, GHRM practices alone do not directly impact business sustainability; they demonstrate a significant indirect effect when moderated by Green Innovative Work Behavior and Engagement.Theoretical Contribution/Originality: This study extends the application of AMO theory by demonstrating how GHRM practices contribute indirectly to business sustainability through green behavioral mechanisms. It highlights the critical role of employee engagement and innovation in achieving sustainability goals within environmentally focused SMEs.Practitioners/Policy Implications: The results underline the significance of adopting GHRM practices, such as eco-friendly training and recruitment, to foster employee engagement and innovative behaviors. Policymakers and practitioners in SMEs should focus on strategies that align organizational goals with environmental sustainability to gain competitive advantages in the market.Research Limitations/Implications: This study's limitation pertains to SMEs in Jepara Regency, perhaps constraining the generalizability of the findings. Future research may investigate the relevance of these findings in different areas or industries to deepen the comprehension of GHRM's wider ramifications.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of consultative selling strategies in the sales of IndiBiz products at Telkom Yogyakarta, focusing on the role of the Human Resources (HR) department in supporting the development of sales team competencies. The research employs a qualitative approach through in depth interviews, observations, and documentation, with participants consisting of the HR Manager, Sales Supervisor, and members of the sales team. The findings indicate that the role of the HR department is crucial, not only as a provider of training but also as a change agent that facilitates the transformation of the sales mindset from transactional selling to a consultative approach. The inhibiting factors identified include competency gaps, low self confidence among sales staff, an incentive system that emphasizes quantity over the quality of interactions, and the price sensitive characteristics of the MSME market in Yogyakarta. Support in the form of training, coaching, monitoring, and evaluation has been proven to enhance sales competencies, although consistent follow up is still required for effectiveness in practice. With continuous improvements in training, incentive systems, and the utilization of CRM, the consultative selling strategy has the potential to increase customer value and drive sustainable sales growth for IndiBiz.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS) program and the role of management policies on employee performance at PT Cahaya Agung Dirgayasa, a high-risk construction company. Using a qualitative method through a case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation from three key informants representing the strategic, managerial, and operational levels. Thematic analysis results indicate that the company has a structured OSHMS policy framework, encompassing mandatory PPE use and Toolbox Meetings. However, its implementation still faces significant obstacles, namely low employee awareness and understanding, inconsistent training programs, and the absence of dedicated OSH experts (safety officers). Despite these challenges, the implementation of the OSHMS has been proven to have a real positive impact. This includes increased motivation and work discipline, operational efficiency through reduced non-technical costs due to accidents, and a significant decrease in the number of work incidents. These findings confirm that management commitment to strengthening OSH culture is a crucial factor in optimizing employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of psychological resilience on the performance and job satisfaction of internship program students with social support as a moderating variable. Based on the Conservation of Resources Theory and Social Support Theory, this quantitative study used a Likert scale questionnaire survey of students at the Faculty of Business and Economics, Islamic University of Indonesia. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) through SPSS version 26. The results showed that psychological resilience had a positive and significant effect on performance and job satisfaction, while social support strengthened the relationship between the two. These findings confirm that strengthening resilience and social support not only plays a role in improving student performance and job satisfaction during the internship program, but also becomes an important factor in shaping their readiness to face future job challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to gain an in-depth understanding of employee workload and its impact on well-being and performance at PT Jasa Raharja Purwokerto Branch. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation involving five informants from various job positions. The findings indicate that workload is driven by the high number of traffic accident cases, compounded by limited human resources and the continuous adaptation to evolving digital systems. These conditions lead to several consequences, including physical fatigue, work stress, and work-life imbalance, which ultimately affect employee performance. Although, in general, employees maintain optimal performance, one informant admitted that their performance occasionally declines due to time pressure and a high volume of work. Nevertheless, most employees continue to strive to maintain their performance by demonstrating discipline, responsibility, and strong commitment to delivering optimal public service. This study also highlights the importance of human resource management policies focused on employee well-being and workload distribution to ensure the quality of public services remains consistent.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of transformational leadership on innovative work behavior, examining organizational culture and knowledge sharing as potential mediators. Employing a quantitative research design, survey data were collected from 145 employees across 17 unit offices at PDAM Tirta Sembada Sleman. Data were gathered using a six-point Likert scale and were analyzed using structural equation modeling–partial least squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS software. The results indicated that transformational leadership does not directly influence innovative work behavior. While organizational culture exhibits a positive effect, this effect is not statistically significant, and organizational culture does not mediate the relationship between transformational leadership and innovative work behavior. Conversely, knowledge sharing demonstrates a positive and significant influence on innovative work behavior, effectively mediating the relationship between transformational leadership and innovative work behavior. These findings suggest that transformational leadership alone is insufficient to stimulate innovation without effective knowledge-sharing. This study contributes to both theory and practice by underscoring the critical role of knowledge sharing as a mechanism connecting transformational leadership to innovation within public sector organizations. Limitations include the focus on a single organization and a relatively small sample size. The findings further emphasize the need to systematically and strategically integrate knowledge sharing into leadership and innovation initiatives.
